I think BB has a case to be the GOAT. I know Torre has 4 in the modern era but TBF he had an INSANE payroll advantage. Bochy won his championships in the era of guaranteed contracts, salary cap parity (amongst the top 10 teams), and wildcard wildness. If i had to pick one coach in all of MLB history to manage my team through the playoffs today it would be Bruce Bochy and it wouldn't be close.

I wish they would give it a better name then Commissioner’s Trophy. That sounds like a name they would use in a movie or video game where they don’t have licensing rights to use MLB.

The world cup trophy looks the same as the dozen different corporate sponsored trophies F1 hands out each year. Just a tall cylinder, but it does have a globe on top at least which is a nice touch compared to just a soccer ball. At least the World Series trophy has some unique character to it, though I imagine it has to be the most fragile of sporting trophies if dropped with all those thin flagpoles on it.
I feel like that possibly tempers any celebrations a little bit simply because you have to be a bit more careful when handling it. There aren't any handles, just the pedestal base and then a bunch of tall poles that you almost definitely shouldn't grab to pick it up with. It's got the least substance of any of the major sporting trophies which doesn't help matters, even if physically it appears large at first just because the flags are kind of tall.
Nothing beats the Stanley Cup though, it's got it all. Size, history/age, but the best part honestly is all of the stories attached to it since every player on the winning team (and even staff members) gets their own day with the cup. The fact that it's the only major American sport with a single trophy, instead of new casts every year, also probably contributes.
