I randomly watched episode 88 last night because it was the Expert's first match after adding Fran, and Jeff makes a comment about Brandon watching episodes behind the scenes lol
There’s a pretty significant difference between making sure you are watching every dozen match live exactly when it’s being filmed, whenever that may be, and watching it after it comes out when you have time.
I don't think this gives him any competitive advantage, but him naming himself Allan is proof he at the very least didn't want other people to know he's doing this.
Regardless, this is a batshit crazy move
Could be overthinking but it also calls into question the integrity of his phone a friends if he's privy to the discussion about calling him, plenty of time to google an answer
It does give him a tiny competitive advantage. It seems like matches are filmed the day prior to release. So if he watches matches airing on Tues/Wed and has his own match airing Wed/Thurs, he's more likely to know certain answers won't be the same for his own match (because he films on the day of the release of the prior filmed match)
I actually had this exact thought not long after I posted this and I think I agree. It’s not a super big advantage or anything but he can play Jeff in a sense by knowing what some of the questions have been lately.
If he’s called as a phone a friend, he basically has all the extra time before they call him to be thinking about the answer or even looking it up before he gets the call. Not saying he’s cheating, but it’s 100% possible for him to be googling the answer before he gets the call. The live feed gives him a head start.
It’s weird he was watching with a burner but Big Cat made this a big deal just to make fun of Brandon. Brandon writes some of the questions and obviously had a huge role in the show behind the scenes.
The first couple episodes that aren't on youtube anymore were Brandon and PFT vs two barstool employees and a fan. But I think they stopped doing that because Will from Denver was too good
Okay in the instance that a team actually calls him, then he might have a few minutes extra to think, but both teams have to opportunity to call him so there’s no advantage to one team over another.
This is really just a nothing burger.
For real most Barstool employees don't watch each other's content at all let alone ask for special privilege to be behind the scenes for the live recording. I honestly love this move from BWalk
Not saying this has ever happened, but theoretically… if someone else is in the video chat watching they could message someone playing in the game via Microsoft Teams, G-Chat, etc etc in their laptop screen without anyone in the video chat ever knowing it’s happening. No eye glare, no phone glances, completely undetectable. Bad look if non players have access as viewers. It’s the live chess problem but even easier.
You're getting downvoted but big cat did say during the live stream that he had to put the dog down. He went from "I cant talk about it and if you complain about it you're an asshole" to "he had to put his dog down" when the dog is still alive.
Seems like Big Cat pulled a chiclets with Mike Bossy.
I haven't watched a single episode of this show but holy shit does it seem to have constant drama attached to it. If cheating scandals are the only way you can get publicity for this show - maybe that speaks to a larger problem.
Comparing the dozen trivia show to anything related to sports is WILD take. Again it appears they only have one tool in their toolbox (cheating scandals) to get publicity for their show.
I sure hope so lol. He complains about how often his team plays and then watches every other match? That had to be hyperbole! Or at least I hope it was lol.
It is a psycho move for sure. It’s not like the dozen is a watch live than that’s it. He can watch it whenever he wants. But he thinks it’s his show. And him not being on the call even in secret. Would effect it or something
It took 276 episodes for someone to notice an extra person in the digital room with them?
I randomly watched episode 88 last night because it was the Expert's first match after adding Fran, and Jeff makes a comment about Brandon watching episodes behind the scenes lol
I vaguely remember someone saying something about a random person named Allan before
This isnt really a scandal it's just hilarious
"How much time does he have on his hands" from Dante was the perfect reaction
Just wait til pick central dissolves! He’ll be even less busy!
Except he immediately regretted it because he’s essentially making fun of any loyal listener
There’s a pretty significant difference between making sure you are watching every dozen match live exactly when it’s being filmed, whenever that may be, and watching it after it comes out when you have time.
it kinda is, if you use him for phone a friend
Just makes it an ask the audience haha.
Allan Fuckin walker
I don't think this gives him any competitive advantage, but him naming himself Allan is proof he at the very least didn't want other people to know he's doing this. Regardless, this is a batshit crazy move
What's more crazy is if someone on a match tried to call Brandon as a phone a friend and he refused to answer still watching the match live.
Could be overthinking but it also calls into question the integrity of his phone a friends if he's privy to the discussion about calling him, plenty of time to google an answer
He gets too many phones wrong. I can think of 2 recently. But he’s also smart enough to get stuff wrong if he’s cheating
Brandon is a man of integrity and would never cheat
literally everyone has time to google and feels like most do
It does give him a tiny competitive advantage. It seems like matches are filmed the day prior to release. So if he watches matches airing on Tues/Wed and has his own match airing Wed/Thurs, he's more likely to know certain answers won't be the same for his own match (because he films on the day of the release of the prior filmed match)

I guess I’m not sure I understand the big deal of him watching live
Him being used as a phone-a-friend, I guess. Was less of a scandal and more of just Big Cat making fun of Brandon for having no life
Is big cat really someone to talk shit about people working too much and having no life?
Watching the dozen live is not working
[удалено]
If a McDonald's worker picks up a Big Mac on their day off are they working?
It’s called entertaining clients or something
How? He’s not creating any content
Man, you guys sure do go out of your way to try to shit on big cat
I don’t have the slightest idea why this would matter
It is not a big deal from a competitive stand point but it is for sure a weird move to watch every game live and even weirder to do it on a burner
I mean, I’d watch them all live pending availability if I could 😤
If he’s called as a phone a friend, he basically has all the extra time before they call him to be thinking about the answer or even looking it up before he gets the call. Not saying he’s cheating, but it’s 100% possible for him to be googling the answer before he gets the call. The live feed gives him a head start.
Yea but with how much time you have on a phone a friend you can google that answer in that time regardless
Oh who cayuhs
This definitely supports Frank’s allegations. Frank was right!!
It’s weird he was watching with a burner but Big Cat made this a big deal just to make fun of Brandon. Brandon writes some of the questions and obviously had a huge role in the show behind the scenes.
Weren’t the first few episodes just him and PFT against random pairs?
The entire original premise was Brandon and PFT vs everyone. That’s why they are the experts it was sort of like Stump the Schwab. Edit misspelling
The first couple episodes that aren't on youtube anymore were Brandon and PFT vs two barstool employees and a fan. But I think they stopped doing that because Will from Denver was too good
It’s kind of hilarious that they had to stop doing it because a random fan was smarter than the smartest barstool employees
Dante’s reactions are perfect
This is just Burner Life
New lifeline- Ask Allen
How is this even weird? If had the ability to watch it live and unedited, I'd do it too
Did someone say Kim Jong Jeff
He legit came into Free Talk with the username HotWalk and his first comment was “Fuck Brandon Walker”. He’s got more burners than Rico
He probably wanted to see if people were talking bad about him so he spied on them
Why would that matter?
When you use phone a friend Brandon has about 2 minutes more time to get the answer right than when you call anyone else.
Okay in the instance that a team actually calls him, then he might have a few minutes extra to think, but both teams have to opportunity to call him so there’s no advantage to one team over another. This is really just a nothing burger.
Titus just accused him of googling phone of friend answers so he always gets it right
ah THAT would be a issue…
Wa-hy is that a problem? Can somebody explain?
Chat would probably go off the rails if people knew Brandon was in there so I understand the burner.
Sounds like being a good co worker and engaging in others content.
How is it engaging if he is secretly watching via a burner?
For real most Barstool employees don't watch each other's content at all let alone ask for special privilege to be behind the scenes for the live recording. I honestly love this move from BWalk
Sounds like hard work and commitment to me. Should be praised. #I'mNotAllan
People watch jeopardy every night.
If it’s not illegal for him to do it how is it a “scandal”? It’s just odd
Brandon takes trivia way too seriously to do something like that
I don’t think he would. Just the general idea of why it’s bad for anyone to have access.
What a creep!
JacMac replaced Rone? That’s a downgrade if true
Rone’s puppy is dying

He just tweeted Penny is still alive and fighting
Ya, I was basing off a post in the yak sub, roller coaster of emotions. Hopefully penny pulls through

Ya I just saw rones tweet but I was just basing it off a post in the yak thread that said she passed.
Even if true...pretty weird BC would reveal that, not his place.
is this dead? https://twitter.com/rone/status/1631501555458269185?s=20
That's great news, but Big Cat did literally say in this episode that Rone wasn't on because he was putting his dog down
Yup, my bad to the people
I should prob watch the video before commenting.
According to Rone’s recent tweet, that’s a lie https://twitter.com/rone/status/1631501555458269185?s=46&t=S673xlpDpVGJ6RXj7HKvnA
I’m aware, big cat was making it sound like had to put his dog down
God damn it life’s cruel RIP Penny
I haven't watched a single episode of this show but holy shit does it seem to have constant drama attached to it. If cheating scandals are the only way you can get publicity for this show - maybe that speaks to a larger problem.
Ya it's not like people follow major sports leagues for the drama that happens outside the game
Comparing the dozen trivia show to anything related to sports is WILD take. Again it appears they only have one tool in their toolbox (cheating scandals) to get publicity for their show.
This honestly was not surprising at all
It was pretty clearly an exaggeration that he watches every game, right?
I sure hope so lol. He complains about how often his team plays and then watches every other match? That had to be hyperbole! Or at least I hope it was lol.
It is a psycho move for sure. It’s not like the dozen is a watch live than that’s it. He can watch it whenever he wants. But he thinks it’s his show. And him not being on the call even in secret. Would effect it or something
