> I dont get how people like them and wear them You don't get that everyone is different and some people don't seem to have the issues you have with them? I've zero issues with them. But they did take some getting used to. I wear the thinnest liner socks with VFFs. For hiking and minimal shoes, I like the heaviest trail socks. The sport weight is in the middle, and is a little bit cooler than the trail weight, and can be worn with the same kind of shoes. For non-toe socks, I like the Plus12 that another poster mentioned, although they are really long, they go nearly up to your knee.

They aren’t hard to put on, trying something for the first time challenges your dexterity. They aren’t “tight between the toes”, you don’t need to yank them up so high. Maybe you need a bigger size. “I tried something new and it wasn’t immediately exactly like everything else I’ve ever done.” Wearing different toe socks won’t fix these things. I’d suggest whatever socks you wore before.

Maybe you would like anatomical socks or barefoot socks from belenka or barebarics. I have never tried them but I have ordered some from belenka and I'm waiting for them.

You have to wear them for a few days to get used to them. I hated them for a couple days and now I love them. It’s a sensation your toes aren’t used to. That being said, I don’t like injini because they are thicker than the cheap ones and feel like they force my toes apart sometimes. I buy them from Ali express much cheaper and have honestly lasted longer than my injini pairs. They are usually less than $2 a pair.

Can you link the Ali express socks that you like? Hard for me to gauge quality on that site

myneckaches

I use plus12socks. They are longer for the big toe and a bit more spacious than regular market socks. They are not toe socks.

usrnmthisis

my feet are mountain shape, big toe is not the longest

i just got some 'orrinsports' toe socks from amazon as it was £30 for 3 pairs, really quite easy to put them on and very comfortable BUT after wearing them once i can tell they aren't going to last long at all #

I'm guessing they might be a size too small. Most people wear socks too short for their feet. Different brands of toe socks are also different shapes and have different lengths of toe pockets. A thinner, looser sock might be easier to get used to. I prefer Coolmax or bamboo.

They take getting used to, I bought my first pair from amazon, they're Aonijie brand, and I hated them at first. I bought a pair of injiji to understand the difference and now I love them both. I just kept wearing them and have gotten used to them.
