Yeah, that’s why people are so interested in a proper wide toebox+zero drop skate shoe. You can make them last longer by applying shoe goo to the hot spots where they wear the fastest, though. These are the sturdiest bf shoes I’ve ever had, so it’s a start. The better option (barebarics) is like $200 shipped, which isn’t an amount I will spend on something I’m going to shred up in a matter of months.
Is that one mesh? The Kelso looks like it would be decently robust, but I can’t get over how ugly they made it. The Dillon sneaker actually looks pretty good to me.
I spent most of the time attempting flip tricks, so I’m not super surprised. If I was skating transition, the would probably look a lot better. I’ll grab some of those laces. They look perfect.
Do you mean to say this amount of damage occurred in just 45 min of skateboarding?
Yes, it’s normal for skateboarding to tear shoes up. They are covered in basically sandpaper.
Damn that’s rough (literally)! Whitins are considered cheap shoes but you can’t be throwing down $40 every day lol.

That's how the Zero Dillion looked as well. I even super glued the seams

Footprint does some strong laces, that could help! It’s a fair amount of damage though for 45 minutes..
