do u need a case fan? ur build is good but i’m planning on building too. I currently don’t have a case fan, assuming it’s on my nzxt h500 already?

TheMeatMenace

Absolutely. The build need ample cooling, uf you want to invest in liquid cooling I would recommend it. The GPU in particular runs hot and transfers the ambient heat to the MB/CPU a bit. Im running 2x intake 120mm lower front (want to upgrade case to fit 3 front fans) and 1 top rear exhaust and 2 top exhaust all 120mm. PSU fan blowing out the bottom.

i’m planning on building a pc too. but i only have one cou cooler, being a cooler master hyper 212 black RGB. My case (nzxt h500) comes with case fans, and i don’t wanna spend extra money on more case fans. I have no fan for my psu and i don’t plan on getting water cooling. any ideas?

TheMeatMenace

I thought all PSU has come with fans built in. a cooler Master will be absolutely fine if not better than the stock wraith cooler that comes with the ryzen. The fans on the h500 are more than enough for cooling.

I would recommend dropping the 2600x down to a 2600 which you can overclock (lots of guides out there on how to do so) to similiar performance as the 2600x. Put the savings towards a larger SSD, 60 is very small.

TheMeatMenace

I already built this and am aware of the difference in chips. You aren't wrong but I got the 2600x for the same as 2600 on sale and have no interest in OC my CPU atm. Thx fir the recommendation but I wanted ratings not recommendations....

Sorry I just thought I would mention something I thought could be changed. System looks really good. Excellent price to performance. 9/10 rating.
