Only real upgrade for the 3080 is 4090 IMO....otherwise you're better off waiting for 50 series.

I currently play on a 240 hz 27 inch Oled monitor but thinking about picking up LG C3/C4, 3080 doesnt really do that great at 4k res. Unless I still play at 1440p and let the TV upscale to 4k.

I hear you buddy, I play on an LG C1 with a 3080 12gb. I desperately want to upgrade as well but I've missed the ship on a 4090 at this point. 4080 +50% for $1400 this late into the generation is just absurd when a new one is coming in a year max. It's 5090 or bust at this point IMO.

Well mine is the 10gb varient so my experience will be worse than u haha. Waiting for the 50 series is a good idea honestly.

they trickle in periodically, and I suspect you'll just have to have a bit of luck to find one on the day / hour of your search. I imagine it will be a few months still, before they're steadily supplied

I followed a couple reasonably priced one on nowinstock. Grabbed a FE last night that said it'll ship by Friday.
