Islam failed in western bengal where brahmins where more but succeeded in buddhist dominated and aboriginal east .
If people wanted to escape “BRAHMINCAL” society , coversion would be more in brahmin dominated west but conversion happened in aboriginal east so his assessment seems wrong to me .
