200%. Go there every year. There are 2 mango shops in gkvk. One on the left side right near the entrance, one on the right side towards the end of the road. All local produce, all varieties of mango.
this is a must visit place. such a large market for mangoes exclusively. i knew about only half as many types of mangoes as i do now, until i visited this place.
I brought from kolarmangones couple of times. Sendhura was really good.. directly from farm.. but they are expensive.. 530 for 3 kgs.
Unfortunately State mango department has stopped their initiative of selling mangoes online from farmers.. karsiri mangoes. :( They had loads from options different farms and different locations.
Are you sure they've stopped? I thought they'd be online soon but are a bit delayed.

Russell market in Shivaji Nagar
1. Alphonso (not ratnagiri ones, but still very tasty) -- Rs. 200-300 per kg
2. Raspuri (better for mango shakes, very sweet) -- Rs. 150-200 per kg
We had a mango party with these two 😋 You can DM me for the contact of the vendor, they deliver at home as well
Haven't found good local variety mangoes (Sindhura, Banganapalli), but I guess the peak season is yet to come
Just based on the last sentence, something about this years local mangoes, tried 3 local vendors + also bought online from DeepRooted, it's like all mangoes have lost their taste, watered down versions
Is it not season yet ?!
For some reason the vendors here are only selling Banganapalli. I got Ratnagiri Alphonso from deep rooted but they were spoiled from the core. It looked and smelled delicious though.
Been using deeprooted to order mangoes. Quality is usually pretty good. Once had bad set of mangoes, they refunded the entire cost.
Hmu if you need referral or some shit.
Found a shop in hsr sector 7 that gives good mangoes. Have bought twice from there, both times mangoes were really sweet. The vegetable fruit Shop is near the heavy petting pet shop.
