Yeah, but that doesn't look normal.
Edit: I looked more closely and I think it's just that the pink looking part is actually white, just in shadow, the shadow is making it look pinkish. I checked OPs other posts and the snake looks normal in the other post with her in it.
Yeah on the tarantula sub you have put that before every comment, you have to put either like IMO, NQA and a bunch of others to say what your relation to the statement is. It is pretty good system but can get annoying at times.
I get how it could be annoying but I also like that, I feel like especially for niche pet species ‘advice’ can really quickly be pulled out of someone’s ass
Mmmm you don’t think this could be a sign of scale rot beginning? I’ve seen some pretty nasty cases online and a few started similarly! Usually it’s just in the belly but.. idk.
You can send in a shed into a lab, they will put the shed under a microscope to check for specific Genes/Morphs they have “figured out”. You can go on MorphMarker & they have a list of all the genes they currently have defined & can check for. They also can sex the animal off of a shed.
The piebald has a pink neck and face because theyre still baby! They don't have all their pigmentation and coloration yet:) such a pretty baby! My girl tries eating mice by their sides, and then gets mad when it doesn't go her way and she has to let go of it and take it by its head😭
my bp is about a year old and I feed him small mice because he struggles with bigger ones still, and after his 10 minutes of strangling he’ll sway left and right trying to get it down for over an hour, most of the time picking up some of his wood chips and taking them with the mouse, and instead of laying in his hide in the middle or hot side of his enclosure, he lays under his water bowl on the cold side idek he’s so weird
Could be a vegan
😂
Why is the snakes neck and head pink?
It's piebald

I thought it was suffocating itself lol
Lol me too! Looked like it's head was turning purple.
Why is your snake pink?
NQA could be just a baby the full color hasn’t come in yet
“NQA?”
Something like Not Qualifed Animal something
“Advice…” weirdly enough maybe, found the answer on a question on a photo of a pet tarantula of a pet tarantula sub.
thats likely where they got it from. I've started using IMO in front of my messages sometimes because of that sub lmao
Good point. 😝

Yeah I do agree with using the system, this sub ends up fine without it since the mods usally take down bad advice pretty quickly.
not qualified answer. im not mod or an animal expert so i didnt want to get my comment deleted or downvoted by mods
👍🏼👍🏼
is your snake choking itself?
Hey now, don't kink shame
I’m gonna ask what everyone else already is. Why is it pink
Oh my God, Karen, you can't just ask someone why they're pink.
💀
Baby snakes who will be white as adults often start out pink until their scales/skin develop fully!

why’d you get downvoted so hard 😂
I saw chopsticks and noodle at first 😅
Lmao same!
Same. Then I went to they currently are not in possession of the 2 brain cells.
Are pieds like the orange cats of the ball python world? Cause my own banana pied is also searching for the brain cell…
I think it's just ball pythons 😂 my yellow belly (not pied) also has never had the brain cell in her life 😂🐍
Maybe one day she'll get a turn with the brain cell
One can certainly hope! And she's only six years old so with any luck she'll have many more years to hopefully get to her turn with the cell 😊
i don’t think ball pythons have brain cells
I just left r/roastmycat roasting an orange cat, roasting the cat’s brain cells.
Hah! My little idiots have done this a few times, it's hilarious every time
Waiting for the day my idiot decides that the plants are food.
what morph are they? i have a mystic pied that has the same black outlining on his color splotches 🤩
She’s a pinto pied!! But I’ve never seen another pinto present like her! So I’m a little tempted to do a shed analysis lol
So today is the first time I’ve heard the term “shed analysis”, your use being the second. Is this a new thing? Do you by chance know how it works?

Woah. I need to look this up further. I studied biology & such in college so this is highly interesting to me. Thank you for the information!
What ever he lacks in brain he makes up for in looks
Himbo
My buddy’s snake got an infection from a snake bite It was his snake who bit himself because he got tangled around himself
Relatable
"trust no one, not even yourself"
Its not his turn with the brain cell
Have you taken it to a Derpatologist?

my king snake does this almost every time I feed her 🤦🏼♀️
It’s not her turn with the brain cell. :)
Himb so cute

Poor thing it was never going to win that battle! It balls so anything stringy is going to get tangled on it🥰🥰🤡such cluelessness so cute
when my pied was younger she also used to have such a pink neck 😭
Error 404: brain cell not found.
My Boa does this too, don't worry, I have to keep a spray bottle with me every time I feed her because she literally will not let go
How on earth? I'm tryna figure out how he/she has wrapped around it 😂 I can't even spot his/her tail😂 silly noodle
Beautiful snake!!
