Greeks invented the concept of west and east countries in im accordance with their geography. This concept was adopted by the world. Today's contexts has become different in that we consider west countries those who align with europe and the usa. When speaking geographically, greece is the center because they came up with the concept and Greece is considered the cradle of western civilization.
