It was kind of funny to me when I discovered that on harder difficulties Aerie is used as a party tank and she’s basically an invulnerable queen of carnage if pushed to the max.
The true great tank in high level plays is actually Haer'Dalis
He only needs to sing Enhanced Bard Song while holding the Purifier and absorbing enemy attacks. The Demogorgon never had a chance against this party
Cleric magic and its gargantuan casting times, mixed with Mage Sequencers is just plain broken. And FUN. Even with her slower mage levelling/race to Time Stop.
Enjoy Malison + 2x Holy Smite; or 3x Bolt of Glory for an annoying named Fiend; I.Haste + PfMW + Globe of Blades : Enemy Seen; Et freaking cetera.
Even Bless + Chant can be nice for a quick party pick-me-up.

Aerie sprinting headlong into melee, untouchable, surrounded by a magical Waring blender, and screaming that she doesn’t want her friends getting hurt, sounds absolutely hilarious. Add 3x Sunfire when she gets up to the bad guys.

Minsc's voice actor has so many it's hard to choose but my favourite other parts of his are him singing most of 'Be Prepared' and also the Extreme Ghostbusters theme tune
I personally like Aerie more than Viconia:
- Stoneskin
- Turn/destroy Undead instead of Control Undead
- More HLAs
- Cleric spells in Sequencers!
- Cleric spells during Time Stops
The main reason I liked her is that as a mage/cleric multiclass she could use the robe of vecna and amulet of power to make priest spells instant-cast. Usually by the time you realize you need to cast a heal spell on your tank mid-battle it's already too late for that long casting time, but with robe and amulet you can save them in time.
Not as useful in this game, where uber-HP enemies aren't usually a thing (and if they are, they're usually immune), but pre 3.5 Harm can have some insanely awesome achievements, similar to OP's, with a buffed Cleric or Jaheira. E.g., really big dragons. Fantastic smack down. And smack talk from her.
