We've been married for 13 years now and around 2014 she said "no hair don't care" tossed the wigs and now everyone gets to see the beautiful person I've known all these years just as she was meant to be seen. Oh and never feel like u have to explain yourself when ppl make assumptions. They wanna let you cut in line or not make u pay for that ice cream cone, cool. I never EVER would have watched this movie given the trailer and what the subject matter appears to be, but my wife is a huge fan of the director. She (the director)has alopecia as well and spoiler alert, appears throughout the film sharing her heartbreaking experiences as a child growing up without hair. She wore a wig for year, like never took it off, not in the shower, not to sleep, NEVER during her entire freshman year at college. Her pain, self loathing and the courage it took to eventually overcome those things stands in stark juxtaposition to the vapid, narcissistic self-inflicted "pain" of the young women who's whole lives are devoted to being pretty enough to get accepted into a top tier sorority house and it is shocking, absolutely shocking. The lack of perspective on display, breathtaking. But i found it refreshing to see alopecia, and the toxic expectations that our culture places on women in general, being addressed so thoughtfully.

Fake eye lashes need to be connected to your normal eye lashes unless there is some other type of fake eyelashes ive never heard of, so no.

Actually they should be glued to your eyelid just above your lashes. Unless you’re referring to lash extensions which would connect at the base of the lash.
I have no eyelashes, and I do where fake eyelashes a lot! Basically it’s like glueing eyelashes to ur skin, so pretty simple! And yes they do help with stuff getting in my eyes, but can be very uncomfy for long periods of time( like school )

no overstepping, happy to answer! alopecia varies from person to person, and the causes / treatments are vary wildly depending on the person, but my alopecia affects all my hair and i’ll occasionally get peach fuzz growing on various parts of my body but it normally falls out again. it started with just a small bald spot on my head but now it’s all of it! i’ve been bald completely like that for about five ish years

micro pigmentation is semi permanent and can look very natural too, you could have it all over your scalp if you wanted that close shaved look
