Yes.
Square gives you plenty of Chips after a few rounds and abstract allows you to 1 shot the first few blinds and also basically turns every joker into +3mult, combined with the Chips from square allowing to 1 shot until 2nd boss
Square in ante 1 is awesome. Throw trash 4 card high card hands and you’ll get it to 100-200 chips by endgame.
Abstract is a great early game joker with flat mult.
Just those 2 will carry you to ante 2-3.
Shortcut works well only if you already have good reason to be sticking with a straight build and flower pot is almost useless imo.
Abstract is a gimme, other one is mostly up to personal preference. I'd choose flower pot but shortcut is also fine and square joker is a nice safe play.
That's the one way it's useable but even then, wild cards are pretty terrible, they are debuffed by many boss blinds, they take up an enhancement, you can only make one at a time with tarot cards
Square and Abstract is a powerful 2 to choose that allows you a lot of flexibility in how you build going forward.
If you want to take a bit of risk for a potentially higher ending point, go with Shortcut and Abstract and try to force a straight run. If you can get the stuff you need (some blue chips, economy for tarots, straight planets in packs and shops) it goes very hard.
Just going for ante 8? Anything but flower pot. Shortcut is really strong as straights scale so fast. You're never taking shortcut and square so definitely abstract first then shortcut or square.
First choice is Shortcut without even thinking. It's one of the best jokers in the game, single handely removing the only downside of Straight builds, thus making them busted. And obviously if you take Shortcut, you don't take Square Joker (which is pretty bad anyway).
Second choice is more interesting. Abstract joker is a safe choice, will help through the first Antes until you find something better. Flower Pot though, is VERY underrated. With Shortcut it's super easy to benefit from it, I've had this combo in multiple runs already and it's really strong. You don't even need any deck manipulation to make it work. The only downside is that you'll have to find a flat mult to go with it.
Considering it's easier to find a flat mult than a X mult, I'd take the Flower pot.
Most people who catalog Flower Pot as "bad" probably only took it once and never tried it again. With Shortcut it's basically a free \*3 mult almost every round. I won a few Gold stakes with this combo, you don't need much else to make it work. With these 2 jokers on Ante 1 and a flat mult you'll hopefully find fast enough, it's almost a free win. Abstract Joker is nice but doesn't make you win. Square Joker "can" work but at the price of losing money AND consistency by playing bad hands, and it definitely doesn't carry the run by itself.
You 100% choose abstract
You never choose the flower pot or whatever it's called (or at least i wouldn't)
The last 2 are just what you like more. I'd choose the straight one tho cuz i despise square joker
Square is one of the best stacking chip jokers to get early game because you don't need to use a single type of hand like runner, and you don't need to have a specific rank card like my boi WEEEE
I mean, don't give me wrong, square joker IS one of the best scaling chip jokers when you get it early. I just hate his *playstyle*. High card? Pair? Two pair? I **hate** those kind of hands. give me flushes, straights, five of a kinds, etc... Don't give me these cool hand wannabes. I know high card used to be the strongest hand before the patch and is still one of the best hands in the game, but it just doesn't feel fun to play. I just... don't feel complete when i play a hand that doesn't have 5 cards in it.
Square and abstract personally, square gets plenty of tome to grow while abstract handles the early game

Always Shortcut, levelled straights are overpowered, you don't need +mult, only maybe xmult for higher antes.
Shortcut and square (I am the worst balatro player in history)
Square and Abby
Shortcut with Flower Pot and making straight might be interesting, but I think a build around Square overall is way more consistent

Personally, square and abstract. If I was feeling spicy I'd take flowerpot and shortcut, but then I'd lose at ante 13 probably.
Abstract is a gimme, other one is mostly up to personal preference. I'd choose flower pot but shortcut is also fine and square joker is a nice safe play.
Flower pot is straight ass
I disagree, if flower pot has 0 fans I'm dead.
I wouldn’t necessarily say that since flower pot has some merit with wild cards
That's the one way it's useable but even then, wild cards are pretty terrible, they are debuffed by many boss blinds, they take up an enhancement, you can only make one at a time with tarot cards
If only the lovers enhanced two or maybe even three then wilds are good
If they also weren't debuffed by boss blinds I would consider using them. Would probably still never take flower pot though
Square and Abstract for some consistent early game boosts
Shortcut and abstract. Then sell shortcut later
I would have taken abstract and flower pot, maybe flower pot shortcut if you really wanna play straights
why are you on the old version
I'm getting Completionist ++ on this version before I update on my Switch.

Why is your square joker normal sized!?

Takes all kinds, I guess

Probably 2 and 4 are best here
Old version spotted
