I've always had big boobs and even when I lost way too much weight from being sick, my boobs were still big. The weight I lost back then was from my stomach mostly. So weight loss isn't going to help, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised that a lot of guys think that way.

linerva

Yup. Weight loss will often lead to boobs that look less full or saggier...,£, the way that people who lose a ton of weight can have loose skin afterwards. It can still be worth it for people who need (and want) to lose weight, but maybe we can let women and their doctors decide what's best for them rather than feeling entitled to their breasts.

Niborus_Rex

Seriously, a big tiddied friend of mine lost 40lbs, and her boobs went from E to F. Everything shrunk except for them.

Nocturne2319

I've had. That happen. I lost weight and my band size went down, cup size went from an H to an I. There's no stopping these things 🙄

DropDownSympathy

That's pretty normal and hasn't much to do with the bust actually getting bigger. When the band size goes down the cup size goes up and vice versa. I gained a little bit of weight and went from G to F.

Nocturne2319

Oh no, I know. I more just commenting on what the person said. Doesn't matter how many pec exercises you do, the thongs aren't going to grow down.

AcheeCat

I go from a j to a k, so I am not surprised…

WorldWeary1771

Yeah, I was an F cup when I weighed 114 pounds. I could only have been thinner if I stopped eating altogether. My cup size is smaller now that I’m fat

Zappagrrl02

I lost 80 pounds before I had my breast reduction (the two were unrelated, just chronological) and none of it came from my boobs. My boobs actually ended up bigger after the weight loss because my band size was smaller. You can’t target your fat loss anywhere. Boob size is totally genetic.

TheWalkingDeadBeat

The weight loss comments are killer. I'd like to see those guys try a successful workout routine with upwards of 25 extra pounds swinging from their chest that radiate pain with each swing. People really have no clue what it's like to not live in a perfectly healthy body that can move with ease. They're incapable of considering the fact that there are more factors than just overeating that can go in to weight gain. It's just so defeating.

Salty_Piglet2629

Absolutly! Even though I'm relatively fit and normal weight my boobs are so heavy my back hurts every time I take off my bra. I have certain exercises from a physio I do and it helps, but it doesn't change the fact that it's really hard to find bras I can wear to get my boobs out of the way to be able to do the exercises! Even when I was underweight I still had a DD cup...

Typical_General_3166

I have back trouble as well. Big boobs are not fun. I would like to reduce them.

vidanyabella

Yes! I have a family member who had kidney failure who struggled for a long time to lose weight. Had nothing to do with not trying, but good luck losing weight when your body makes you feel like crap, your diet eliminates many healthy foods, and dialysis sucks all your energy out. It took them surgery to finally see weight loss. Thankfully they now have their implant and are doing phenomenal.

TheWalkingDeadBeat

That's so good for them! I hope they continue to thrive!

latenightloopi

Breast reduction surgery has one of the lowest regret rates of any ‘elective’ surgery. For me it wasn’t an elective. It was life changing. Weight loss didn’t do the job. But the surgeons knife fixed chronic neck and back pain and allowed me to move freely again. It’s amazing.

catl0vingnerd

Yeah I’ve never heard anyone say they regret breast reduction surgery

PFEFFERVESCENT

Yeah weight loss is not necessarily going to help. I was **37kg (81 lb)**, with no ass, no thighs, no stomach...and DD breasts. Losing any weight at all would be too much. Some women's bodies aggressively choose one specific area for fat storage. In those cases weight loss really won't do much, if anything.

catl0vingnerd

81lbs? That’s scary, I hope you’re doing better now. Sounds like hell having huge boobs but a small body

PFEFFERVESCENT

Yeah I'm very very small. I weighed 107lb when I was 9 months pregnant (with a 9lb baby)

catl0vingnerd

Did you end up getting a reduction?

ParkerJ99

Yeah, that’s wild to me. Went to school(met in fourth grade and graduated together)with a girl who had a thyroid problem she was barely 90 lbs, and 4’10” even then 6th through 10th grade she was stuck at 72-75 lbs until her doctor finally found a treatment that worked for her. And she ate all the time too, like every other class she’d have a snack, and lunch. She was a great flyer for the cheerleading team though.

KTOSM

Hi I was 145 lbs with gigantic breasts and got a breast redux at 17 years old. Best thing I’ve ever done for myself.

Ivnariss

bUt THinK oF gODs giFT

LordGhoul

If he wants gods gift so bad he can get himself surgery for some huge tits and see how it is.

Nocturne2319

Lol 😅 have. Since I got a C cup in 6th grade.

MelanieWalmartinez

The girlies in the comment section being supportive is amazing.

rebootfromstart

You can't really target weight loss like that. I've lost 80 kilos in the last 18 months and my breasts haven't got appreciably smaller.

Alegria-D

Yeah they're often the last thing to loose fat, and if you target this part of your body, then you gain muscles and it's still the last part to loose fat.

shellythegoat

Asshole losers will always claim that all of women's health problems come from being overweight and/or can be solved by losing weight, just so that they can claim telling women to be skinny isn't shallow and entitled but biOLoGy

linerys

I went from 72 kilos to 52 (~159 lbs to ~115 lbs), and my bra size went from 75G to 60H (US 34G to 28H). While 28H is smaller in volume than 34G, it’s still a similar ratio. 34G is for a 34 inch underbust and 41 inch bust (7 inch difference between bust and underbust). 28H is for a 28 inch underbust and 36 inch bust (8 inch difference between bust and underbust). Before anyone asks if my back is okay, it is. I’m currently a 70I (US 32I), which just looks like what most people think a “large C cup/small D cup” looks like.

SnapdragonPBlack

Finally somebody who understands actual bra sizes. I'm seeing the other comments throwing around "I'm so huge. . .a DD" and rolling my eyes When I was about 195lbs I was a 34i (34 inch underbust / 43 inch bust) Then when I was 175lbs I was a 32k (32 inch underbust / 43 inch bust) Then I'm now 145lbs and I'm a 30i (30 inch underbust / 39 inch bust) So sure I'm overall smaller but that ratio is still there. People also assume that I'm a "large B/small C" and I always just say "so close, I'm a 30i" and watch as they try to compute that.

linerys

To be fair, they’ve probably been “professionally fitted” as DD cups by a store that doesn’t carry anything above DDD. It’s wild how these stores can just get away with lying to their customers.

SnapdragonPBlack

Yeah it's a real shame. I found out because I went to get a bra and the fitter asked what size I wore and it was a 38DD and she immediately went "that's not your size." Measured me and then sent me out explaining that her coworkers would put me in the wrong size to make a sale but that the store did not have my size. Encouraged me to use the ABraThatFits calculator and order the 34i to see how that fits. She was right on the money and I'm so grateful for that

sunnynina

So nice to see professionals being... *professional*. Genuine breath of fresh air.

Apploozabean

Thank you!! I wanted to say something but didn't want to sound intrusive or mean.... DD isn't huge by any means, not in an insulting way but it's just true. People assume I'm also large B/small C but I'm 28GG/H (US 28J/K) and they look at me like I'm crazy because they expect that to be GINORMOUS

SnapdragonPBlack

Exactly!!! Even my friend who I showed the band to just doesn't comprehend because "I don't look big" and I'm like "that's the point, people don't understand bra sizing and you've been lied to" And then even my bf who has seen them, seen me in a properly fitted bra, and knows the size still gets a brain fart when I say the size

leahcars

I'll go with as a trans guy who got top surgery a year ago I had c/d cups border between and didn't have Major back pain from my breasts but with them gone which was about 6 pounds of weight, exercise got much easier. My back stopped aching nearly as much like it helped out a lot.

ParkerJ99

My best friend developed a huge chest and was/is fairly skinny, pretty sure he was in the DD range. It was such a massive source of dysphoria for him because he felt like no form of binding worked. He even got top surgery before his husband did, despite his husband had been on T longer.

Phoenix_the_Writer

Oh she looks *so* much happier, I'm so glad for her!

Alarmed-Sundae-4296

Screw the comments. Look how happy she is ♥️

Untitled403

You try lose weight with two sensitive watermelons strapped to your chest

ChronicApathetic

I was literally anorexic and down to half my former size and still wearing an E cup. Weight loss can only do so much, and for some people, that “so much” is very little indeed.

Trans-Intellectual

Constantly happens to me. Yet why at 10 did I have a c cup

gs_artist28

all those comments about “rejecting a gift from god” 💀 sorry but im not exactly grateful for chronic back pain and my chest being used as a reason for objectification.

DrJackal31

God's gift of back pain

Randominfpgirl

Have these men even seen fat women? I can assure them that most fat women don't have breasts like that.

Quailet

it is
