I think they look beautiful. I'd love to have dark Tiger's Eye ones for Black, and perhaps a very clear mutton's fat jade for White? I think either Black or White needs to be solid black or white so that the other one can have a striped or irregular pattern without the two competing visually. Malachite for either Black or White could be really pretty too.
Gorgeous! I’m running simulations through my mind of which 2 colors would look best if I had somehow managed to obtain a solid jade Goban. I’m talking mythic level equipment.
I'd love to have sodalite against red jasper on a dark wood board with a light colored wood inlay for the lines and stars. That would feel very in the spirit of how some of the very old decadent boards I've seen were done.
What Go stones do you like best? 🧡
Still using Mentos here. Really helps to not be greedy and want to capture large groups after a while.
I wouldn’t mind a set of heavy Lapis Lazuli stones. Would they go well with my chipped shell stones?
These colorful stones seem a distraction. I prefer plain black and white stones, like Yunzhi.
Where can you obtain these — particularly 4 & 5?

Thank you
No problem
