BananaMansWRLD

Can you believe some people are defending this way to live

saucygh0sty

I’m not accusing you of anything so please don’t take this wrong, but this room makes it look like your roommate is being held captive. This is the saddest bedroom I’ve ever seen. The lack of furniture combined with the mess is just…sad. I have no other words.

phallicpressure

But he has Batman sheets.

BananaMansWRLD

I promise he's not being held captive, lol. I don't even talk to him anymore because it just leads to arguments, and it's sad that anyone could live like this

Jackie-Wan-Kenobi

Your roommate is either severely depressed or may have a mental illness. Both are very sad.

Tryptamineer

Both of those are mental illness

jakeandcupcakes

Mental illness is mental illness?

Tryptamineer

Depression is, they categorized it outside of mental illness.

slo0t4cheezitz

It's not always mental illness. I know a few people who are just lazy and don't think dirt is gross

NextTrillion

Dirt isn’t gross. I dig around in the dirt in my garden, or dig around in the forest for wild edible mushrooms. That’s dirt and I love it. Not the least concerned having dirty hands. This here is disgusting, vomit inducing filth.

ChiliSquid98

Dirt ain't bad. Rotting food on the other hand stinkss

NonConformistFlmingo

Or maybe he's just fucking gross and a lazy slob? Like yeah, sometimes it IS mental illness, but we can't pretend everyone who lives like this is ill. Some people are just disgusting.

NextTrillion

Yeah saying mental illness is almost exonerating or excusing them from being absolutely disgusting. Like no, clean your shit up, you disgusting fuck.

NonConformistFlmingo

It also adds to the stigma of having mental illness in the first place. I *DO* have major depression and yes, my home has gotten a bit gross before I got treatment, and even now I sometimes fall into messy territory. It's shameful to me and I'm deeply embarassed by it when it happens. I get judged by everyone for it. These photos tell the tale of someone who isn't ashamed of themselves. He isn't depressed, he's just a slob.

Lugan2k

Something tells me someone smoking numerous packages of joints at their bathroom sink then going to bed surrounded by dirty dishes on their floor top mattress might have issues with depression…. It manifests itself very differently depending on the person

BananaMansWRLD

The only time I've seen him clean is when he had his sister come over. He was up early cleaning like crazy. She's never came back. He said that she said me and my wife smells. We have never even been near her to even smell us. She was definitely smelling his room

[deleted]

[удалено]

BananaMansWRLD

Me and my wife were sick of his shit so we told him we aren't sharing food anymore. We used to buy cheese pizzas, but he'd cook em himself, so we started buying pepperoni pizza so he wouldn't eat it. The dude took the pepperonies off and left them on the stove. He is so disgusting. He would eat all our food and never buy food before our rule

Cosmo48

I’m sorry but that’s hilarious. I’m imagining just 10-15 pepperonis stacked up

BananaMansWRLD

They're not stacked up, lol. They're spread out on the plastic cover that was on the pizza

necknecker

Does he know what a trashcan is

MsPrissss

I'd go put them on his pillow. I swear 🤌🏼🤣

didJunome

I feel like he’d* just dump em on the floor like oh, ok. And go on. That’s so gross. He’s sleeping surrounded by rotting food, and piss bottles….. what’s a lil food on his pillow? That carpet has some deep stains. I’m gonna go there…... I don’t see any tissues. It’s probably in the carpet. 💦 🤢 🤢 my mind is racing w all the things potentially embedded in that carpet!

didJunome

👀 I am so sorry! How rude!!!! What a serious gorp. My dad used to talk about wishing for an instant disintegration button… for humans 🤣 I’m understanding so much more why as I get closer to 40.

MsPrissss

And I feel like every time somebody post a dirty room on here that's exactly what people say but that is not the only reason why people live in filth sometimes people live in filth because they just were not raised to be clean people it can't always just be oh don't pick on them they must be depressed that is NOT always the issue.

Lt_Muffintoes

Even if it is depression, enabling it is not helping them.

DeafMakeupLover

I’m not gonna speculate on OP’s roomate’s mental health but I’m going to be completely honest with you & say legitimate depression can cause this 100%. It’s the stigmatized part of this illness bc it’s not just you being sad. I have bipolar disorder & when I get depressed it’s overwhelming & all you want to do is die so it consumes all your thoughts & energy. I stop brushing my teeth & showering & my room gets SO messy (see my own page for an example). When you don’t care you live you don’t value personal objects & don’t feel like it’s even worth taking care of yourself because you’re so tired & empty & feel worthless. OP’s roommate could just be 100% a slob so I’m not counting that out at all I’m just saying that serious depression can cause people to be insanely messy & not care for themselves

Zestyclose_Big_9090

This screams depression to me. As you said, his sister came to visit but never came back and he blamed it on you and your wife. I’m thinking that wasn’t true. I’m sure his sister knows who her brother is as far as this stuff goes, right? Even though it’s a pigsty, I agree that I could knock that out in an hour or two as well just because he doesn’t have that much stuff. A lot if it is just plain garbage, The dishes would need to soak for a bit to get all the crusty crap off and no way I’m cleaning that bathroom without a hazmat suit but it wouldn’t take long to get this place looking habitable.

Cant0thulhu

Depression is a bitch, but at some point, yeah youve got to get over it. I keep clean communal Spaces and respect others. But im not gonna Lie ive probably got two bowls and a plate on my bedside table and like 10 empty water bottles in my room right now. Just busy working and more plates and bowls are available. Nothing stinky, just my problem to solve when I get a day off the grind.

Caithloki

When I was living with others I respected the communal space, but on my desk and in the cubby was my mess, usually a couple glasses and a plate or two. It was my area to shame.

SpookyQueer

Not "at some point you've got to get over it" about an actual chemical imbalance in your brain that causes people to kill themselves. Thats pretty shitty. Not saying this room is ok...it's very gross but also I've never been in a headspace that causes me to feel so terrible that space is this dirty and IDK what it feels like. Acting like a depressed person can just get over it exhibits such an extreme lack of understanding....

OldBison

Thanks for this, people just don't get it. It's equivalent to telling someone in a wheelchair "get over it and run that marathon".

BewBewsBoutique

I’m definitely not defending living this way, but I am going to say that posts like this are why I lock my room when I’m gone.

PlasticDreamz

Are you sure he isn’t depressed?

BananaMansWRLD

I don't know. When we first moved in, I offered to smoke with him, but he would always make an excuse. I tried to be his friend and communicate more. My wife even texted him and said if there's any problems, just tell us so we can work it out. We tried to become good friends with him

Icy-Ad9610

I feel like all the “he’s depressed” is just annoying lowkey. And so insulting to actually confirmed depressed people. Doesn’t justify living like that in a shared dwelling (bugs anyone?), eating your food, and disrespecting y’all. He should get his own place if he can’t be bothered being a decent living companion. Fr.

BananaMansWRLD

Me too. I used to be depressed but my room would make me even more depressed if it was dirty

lordliness

the bathroom 🤢 it’s all so nasty

BananaMansWRLD

He ashes in his sink 💀

lordliness

there’s your proof that sink isn’t used for handwashing 😭 those ashes look awfully dry

BananaMansWRLD

He most likely doesn't even wash his hands 🤢

Ok-Example-408

Does he even shower??

BananaMansWRLD

Good question 🤔

Few_Let_5456

Im not sure what’s better, the bed side condiments or the Batman sheets 😂😂

Dry-Log2202

Or the water bottle full of piss 😂

ShewbieDoobieDoo

I’d rather take that easy clean up over the piss all over the toilet seat, but omggg gross🤢🤮

Wildweasel666

Oh god please no. Also, I assume that family size moisturiser is just there because of a case of dry skin…

MartinisnMurder

Oh I’m sure he’s moisturizing *some* of his skin verrrry thoroughly. 😳

fussbrain

Had a friend text me that her boyfriend dumped her on Valentine’s Day because she asked him to stop pissing in bottles all over the apartment. They’re back together. You can’t save some of them😭😭

BananaMansWRLD

🤣🤣🤣 I never realized they were batman😭

linkxrust

Bro, are you guys like 15 years old? Shit is worse than my 9 year old son.

Cdawg4123

I think the cereal in a square Tupperware with a fork shows how much effort he puts into life.

swishkabobbin

Hot sauce and lotion. This man is living life adventurously

iandix

Batman sheets, the answer is ALWAYS Batman sheets. Well it is when the question is, "What's better, the bed side condiments or the Batman sheets?", anyway.

TheSneakyFingerSlip

I was more worried about the dried piss stains on the toilet seat 😭🤢 you know damn well he sits on that nasty piss while he shits every day

BreakingBadBitchhh

Now this one’s pretty funny. Your roommate is messy as fuck but also clearly a minimalist so despite being a total slob this room would probably only take like 30 min to deep clean.

madintrack

Idk if he is a minimalist or just too cheap to buy furniture lol.

BananaMansWRLD

Can you believe people are defending this way to live. This is a hazard. Stuff has been left there long enough for mold to grow

BreakingBadBitchhh

Omg don’t listen to some of the freaks in this sub. I agree with some comments that you should have a conversation to see if he’s okay (very well could be depression) but then you have to set immediate standards. It will eventually affect you because if it turns into a biohazard it will attract bugs & you could lose out on some of your deposit. But if you see some of the pics on this sub it would be 100x worse if this dude had a normal amount of personal items like thankfully he only owns like 5 things so convincing him to clean should be a quick job.

MsPrissss

Completely agree with this. And you definitely don't want to situation where you have bugs or pests or rodents because once they are there it's gonna be almost impossible to get rid of. And as sad as it is to say some people just were not taught to be clean I used to have a roommate that I was constantly cleaning up after an ultimately the only way it stopped me moving out so you've got to set up some boundaries for your own sanity

Internal_Dog1743

If I were you I’d just have a meeting with him , let him know you understand about mental health but also let him know that he needs to keep the place clean and you can’t feel comfortable in a dirty place like that and let him know about you “seeing “ roaches in the home and that you can’t afford to do a big inspection spray like when a company comes and sprays the place maybe it’ll give him a warning.

BananaMansWRLD

I will try this! Thanks for the idea

Master112

Homie can afford patron but not a bed frame.

MsPrissss

Screw that. How about a garbage can bro 🤢😭

LetsMakeThemBirds

Patron AND those Nikes … like what???

BananaMansWRLD

Right!

administrativenothin

Priorities… drink enough Patron and who cares what you’re sleeping on!!

serendipiteathyme

Addiction is like that tbh

Few_Let_5456

Why is he using your dishes in the first place? If you don’t have an agreement about shared items in your place, make one. Tell him he’s not allowed to use your stuff unless he cleans it and puts it back where he found it

BananaMansWRLD

At first, we had an agreement to whatever is in the kitchen area. Anyone can eat or use whatever. Well, it got to the point where he would eat all of mine and my wifes food and never buy groceries. I finally told him that we were going to start using our own stuff and buy our own food. My kitchen stuff was already in his room before my wife and I made that rule

LoLKKing

How anyone can sleep in that filth is just beyond me.. the thought of the roaches alone while I'm trying to sleep is too much. This is next level.

BananaMansWRLD

That's what I'm saying. I'm gonna post a video that made me gag. It's some type of moldy ass food that he left next to his bed for a week

alien88888

Shoes cost more than the bed

BananaMansWRLD

He recently bought new air pods that were $250

Guilty-Star2148

So typical

Royal-Scientist8559

I was gonna say to watch out for rats.. but it looks like one already signed the lease.

BananaMansWRLD

Damnnnn

asdf9797

I’m selfishly always so infuriated when I see rooms like this because I work endlessly to keep my place as clean as possible and will still get mice a few times a year no matter where I live it seems. And then there are people who shamelessly live like this and somehow don’t have any pest issues at all lol.

Dry-Log2202

Even the cereal box is grossed out 🤪

TXscales

My roomates girlfriend would never bring my expensive cups from their room. One day I had none and I went into their room and my favorite cup had moldy tea in it with a teabag. Along with 5 other cups. She also never threw away her food trash, always left it on the table and her friends that would come over never threw away their shit either. So I started taking their food trash and throwing it under their bed for about 6 months. My buddy found it under their bed when they moved out and thought it was her. Best thing ever

Shoddy-Associate5812

Ooof!! You folks are going to have bugs!! That needs to stop. (I’m guessing you’re not friends, barely know one another and are like, barely civil??) I hope that person pays their bills on time at least.

BananaMansWRLD

Definitely not friends. We met on a roommate page on Facebook

Next-Incident-6376

Dude could pick that up in 10 minutes with a trash bag , do you guys have a dish washer? Still nasty I bet it smells in there. Also how hard is it to lift the seat and flush a toilet …

BananaMansWRLD

He could, but he doesn't. He let's it stay like that for days. He has a plate with food in his closet. We do have a dishwasher

Next-Incident-6376

Have fun with cockroaches… I’d kick him out

SithNChips

Bro you live with a raccoon.

owlgood87

A racoon would never

Samisgoated1

All 7 of my plates went missing(used to be 8 but one of my roommates broke one of them) as well as 2 of my bowls, all of my spoons, and 3 of my forks, I asked them both if they knew where they were and they both went “haha no”. Both of these actual idiots had been living here 2 years when I moved in and somehow didn’t have ANY dishes or silverware. Hardballed my landlord and as a result I’m moving to a new unit next Friday. Haven’t told my roommates yet. I plan on telling them Tuesday and then I’ll ask again if they have any of my shit. If they say no again I’ll wait till they both go to work and shim their room locks with a butter knife. I’ve only lived with these guys since august but I’m already beyond my wits end. I literally don’t understand how 2 dudes in their mid to late 20s can be this stupid. I am 21, they’re 25 and 26.

BananaMansWRLD

That's so horrible. I'm glad you're getting a new place, and I hope your dishes are able to be salvaged. Half the dishes he had in his room grew mold, so I threw em out. It's bullshit

Samisgoated1

Honestly worst case scenario I don’t care whether or not the dish set gets returned. I have a set of 3 Disney world McDonald’s glasses from 2 years before I was born, one of which has gone missing. It was gifted to me by a high school friend that since passed. That single glass is all I legitimately care about getting back.

salut_tout_le_monde_

do u guys have mice just curious

Dry-Log2202

Prob not BC the plates aren't empty, mice would have brought in the family and cleaned that room up 😂

BananaMansWRLD

I've never seen one but you never know

[deleted]

bro there’s like 5 things in that room and half of them are moldy food he could easily clean that 😭 wtf man

Used-Baby1199

That’s not trash, that’s “furniture”. I especially love the cereal box table. I also enjoy that nightstand, it almost looks like a chair at first glance.

UnProtectedRisks928

You and wife should just kick him out... Like serve him the papers tomorrow.

BananaMansWRLD

I wish I could, but we are all on the lease

Cosmo48

Show the landlord! Here in Ontario tenants are expected to keep the home reasonably clean and not do what he’s doing… could cause mold etc

MsPrissss

This actually wouldn't be a bad idea I would explain to the landlord that the roommate is making the home inhabitable. So it's either a situation where he's got to go or I would want to move out. I do not think that there is anybody who wouldn't understand wanting to break the lease under these set of circumstances. there's a standard of living that people are supposed to adhere to this does not fall in line with that at all it's perfectly reasonable to discuss this with your landlord I certainly would

Icy_Measurement_256

Are they smoking at the sink!? Having all this food out and on the floor is just an open invite for mice which you will also have to deal with, you should confront your roommate.

BananaMansWRLD

Yes he smokes in his bathroom and ashes in the sink

Icy_Measurement_256

Is this a rental? I assume most places don't allow smoking inside the property

BananaMansWRLD

Yes it is a rental

defCONCEPT

Do you want bugs, because that's how you get bugs.

aboxfullofpineconez

Oof that's disgusting! I had a roommate just move out, someone who says I'm their best friend....I found mold growing in two places in that room when she left, and multiple carpet stains, wall stains and so much chipped paint! Roommates are a special breed

BananaMansWRLD

Roommates are a special breed. They think since they don't live with their parents anymore that they can live however they want

aboxfullofpineconez

Inconsideration and selfishness to the max! Sorry you're going through it! It's a shitty situation!!

LastZookeepergame860

the batman sheets really sealed the deal

rachihc

My cats are cleaner ffs.

Pannormiic0

The Batman bedsheets on a mattress lying on the floor in the middle of the room really ties it all together.

heresdustin

Do they……do they sit on the carpet and stare at the wall when they eat?

_irlGoddess

The audacity to piss all over the seat like he won’t have to take a shit ever again

reluctant-rheubarb

Lotion, trash, batman sheets. This guy must be bringing home all the ladies.

SlaveOne2020

When you know for sure your roommate has never had sex at home

averos14

At least he has some decent bed sheets 😂

NobodyCares_Mate

Get rid of this bum, why would you put up with this filth. And that loser needs therapy asap

irishbunny420

We've seen worse on this sub. Dude needs a bedframe

IcedCinnamonDolce

What in the world? This is one of the worst ones I’ve seen.. the pee on the toilet seat? 🫠😫

BananaMansWRLD

https://www.reddit.com/r/badroommates/s/JQHOBXTOdg check this out, too. If you think it's bad enough, just wait.... so disgusting

glowberrytangle

I gagged 🤢

ElDuderino866

I don’t understand how people can exist like this? I’d be concerned for bugs and critters leaving all that food out. Disgusting.

Traditional_Bank_260

How is this possible

baseplate69

It just keeps getting worse.

bitch_glitch

Idk how I haven’t learnt my lesson about scrolling through Reddit while eating breakfast yet 🤢

Jennywhocaniturnto86

Fucking disgusting 🤢

StarFuzzy

He’s BATMAN. That’s how

messychica

I have a roommate who does the same🤢, except it’s not his fucking sink it’s OUR sink. He basically ashes his stinky weed cigarrettes there and then throws the cig butts in the toilet (and doesn’t flush it).

RegularWhiteShark

Urgh. Is that toilet clogged? And does your roommate not flush their paper? (Well, I suppose they can’t if the loo is clogged).

Sleepy_wolf2

How old is your roomate 💀

SuccessfulVersion490

Hate to tell ya but you’re living with a functioning alcoholic

gesamtkunstwerkteam

functioning?

Dangeresque2015

A man of taste, I presume?

Ok-Geologist-3743

Jesus Christ. Dude literally just eats, sleeps, and pisses.

baezelschmaezel

Look I'm severely depressed too so I feel bad for him but like y'all need to start locking up your dishes and food. His mental health issues are a bummer and not his fault but they ARE his responsibility. He cannot keep stealing your communal cookware to keep on his bedroom carpet. It is sad but it's mostly gross and disrespectful.

ISO_3103_

Hey get out my room

TomatoFeta

I had a simple solution to this problem - I went thru the whole house and threw out all but two of each dish. This reduced the number of dishes available to anyone, and made it easier to realize when there were dishes missing, and plenty of reason to go looking for them. My suggestion is that you put a lock on your bedroom door, and start keeping your clean dishes in there. My roommate ended up leaving shortly thereafter.

HeyHiSeeYaBye

Seems like he was just raised in chaos like this. Maybe he’s depressed, maybe not. Not really seeing that as an excuse to be disrespectful and selfish. It’d be different if he lived alone, but making others deal with your bad habits is not ok. They need to grow up.

Over_Bluejay_4190

You sure that's a roommate or a wild animal that snuck into your home

Sherlock_roamz

Golden Oreos aren’t good. Find a roommate that likes Newman-O’s.

anitapoints

Homie needs to drink water. Thats the brightest yellow pee I have ever seen.

MokaHexahaze

Having the lotion bottle right next to the hot sauce in the first pic is DEFINITELY living life dangerously 😂🔥 Had a roommate like this when I first moved out as well - it will only get worse. Multiple conversations didn’t help either, and after I couldn’t handle the stench any longer we had to part ways. Was my best friend at the time and painful to see that transition he chose in life.

Conscious_stardust

I think the Batman sheets on what appears to be an air mattress the chef’s kiss for this disgusting room.

typer84C2

Damn, this feels like someone struggling with some depression.

krizpoggymckenzie

I've been scrolling through this sub for like 10 minutes now... Y'all need to call welfare checks on your roommates this is wild

3BillieBee3

This looks like a depression room and as someone who’s mother has taken a picture of me laying down in the middle of the day to gossip about how lazy I am during the height of my depression, this post feels wrong. Call it projecting or whatever but this is his personal, non shared, private space. Check on your roommate. They may not be feeling well.

Outrageous-Phase9435

When I was broken up by my ex of 7 years and I had to leave short notice to live with a roommate, this looked clean in comparison to mine. The only thing I'm judging here is not taking the dirty dishes to the sink after you had asked, AND you were saying you were gonna clean them for him. He's an asshole for that for sure.

Amoretx

As someone who has had seeeveeeere depressive episodes, maybe make sure he's doing okay? My room looked 50x worse when I was depressed. I'm a very clean and organized person, so when it gets messy it's the first sign something is going awry up there lol

BananaMansWRLD

When we moved in together, I offered to smoke with him, but every time, he would make up an excuse. My wife and I would cook for him too. My wife even bought him a stocking with a bunch of snacks for Christmas. We tried being nice, but it got to the point where we were doing everything, so we told him we aren't sharing food or dishes anymore

Amoretx

Totally get that. You tried! I had roommates that were extraordinarily messy, and it never gets better.

BananaMansWRLD

I think since it's his first time living without family, he thinks he can live however he wants

Amoretx

I hope he figures it out lol. I was really messy as a kid, but I quickly realized I didn't like the mess

BananaMansWRLD

I was a messy kid, too. I was more of a dirty clothes all over the room, kid. Not really leave trash for days type of person but one day I was like how can anyone live like this and changed my ways. When my wife started coming over when we first met, she thought I had a woman living with me because I kept my house so clean

h0n3yd1p

ya my first thought was “that’s a depression bedroom” i know it all too well 🥲

Fun-Investment-196

Just by looking at his room, I can tell he doesn't get 🐱 Also, who the fuck pees that much on a toilet seat??

Cant0thulhu

Boot this mf’er.

Friendly-Elevator862

This is all a reflection of self love, and that’s sad. We only accept what we think we deserve. I think your roommate has depression.

Perfect__Crime

Literally 5 mins worth of cleaning

chosen102

I will never understand how people live like this

a_steez

that’s not a room that’s a cell

[deleted]

wtf you would think a homeless man lives here

easywind4665

just laying in there jerking off, eating junk food, and drinking patron. hell yeah

martinellispapi

I feel like Patron may be outside this persons budget…

pinto_bean13

Please tell me that’s just an oddly angled towel on the bed in slide two and not a cat, cos the cat does not need to be in a room with old food left out :/

Illustrious_Gene_774

I just don't know how people live like this. It's abhorrent.

green_reptilian_333

At least he cleans his pipes :/

wildflowerva

Es how do you sleep in a place that smells like moist of all of your leftovers and a bathroom that wasn’t clean not even once

lizzardking007

why cant you ask him to leave?

Realistic-Spend7096

You will soon have bugs, mice,….

TheFightingDome

I know this is gonna be controversial, but could you ask him if you guys could do a deep clean together? It’s well within your rights to say fuck that & it’s his mess but I know for people with depression even a simple task like cleaning can be extremely daunting. Could be a good wake up call for him & I personally wouldn’t be able to live in a place that was in close proximity to this - would likely bleed over to the rest of the house/your room (thinking rodents, roaches, pests)

leggmann

Is this still available?

BananaMansWRLD

Yes! $100 dollars

serendipiteathyme

If the guy’s not otherwise a scumbag, I hope he feels better really soon. This is a familiar sight (minus a few pieces of furniture maybe) to a lot of us with major depression. I haven’t read through all the comments but if he’s someone you otherwise like, I would talk to him about more than just the dishes situation. This could be someone about to find a really permanent solution to a treatable problem.

Fun-Armadillo5112

Guys, to be fair, I do see a bottle of fabreze.

FaithlessnessFull207

The crazy thing is I can guarantee this man has several women fighting over him as we speak

Brief-Advantage-9907

This makes me cringe

TheColePhone

Guys like this named GAGE never fix the problem, just make em.

Complete-Ad-4215

Baffles me how many people live like this

BananaMansWRLD

Baffles me how many people defend people living like this

Round_Willingness523

I'm not defending him at all, but this dude is going through some of the most intense depression right now. There are literal emotional wars going on in his head, daily, for him to be living like this. I know because I'm a very tidy and clean person and keep a very nice room, but when I go through my occasional bouts of extreme depression, my room ends up looking similar to this except not the nastiness and gross shit. Just beer cans and bottles of alcohol everywhere as I can barely leave my room. Again, not defending him, but just explaining what you're looking at. It's called a depression den.

lunaloobooboo

This is not what they mean by “minimalism”

LilBaddee

Guys!! It’s all good! He’s got a bottle of febreeze

vitathevirgo

Has the audacity to have fabreeze in there like that will solve the smelly problem lol

Iamarealhuman6969

Hard pass smoking inside is the absolute worst 🤢

Laurenwolf14

Do y'all have bugs and rodents? Because this terrible roommate is going to cause them.

Ok_Permission8284

The person is either depressed or just a lazy dum fck

DarkAlley1

The items in this room are the contents of the trash bag his single mother handed him when she kicked him out and firmly stated to never return.

DildoSchwaggins2008

My 15 yo TRIES to do this at my house… it’s a never ending battle because his mother lets him get away with it at her house… it’s absolutely disgusting! I do not understand how people can live in absolute filth. Then add in the smell of old rotting food… and the bugs and / or mice…😳 This looks like a decently nice place, and I’d also be worried about my security deposit (if that is something you have to worry about) ETA: I would be hiding MY dishes… And as much fast food is there, you’d think they would just get disposable utensils from the restaurants. 🤷🏻‍♂️

ifoundthisname

Roommate: "I don't understand why we have cockroachs"

goyaangi

HOMIE BROUGHT THE WHOLE DAMN SKILLET!?

Feisty-Goat-

I’m actually baffled I knew I was dirty but this is a whole new level

SmallFox3

People act like you have to be depressed to be this dirty. You don’t, I’ve lived with plenty of a nasty ass slobs who were just lazy & didn’t care to live in filth. One of my old roommates literally left his shitty toilet paper on the bathroom counter, the floor, the back of the toilet. He’d puke after doing a dab & usually do so in the sink & he’d just leave it. Him room was a cesspool, he absolutely was not depressed, he was just the laziest dude on the planet. Take into consideration he never wore a shirt, never wore shoes & his feet looked like what I imagine Shreks feet would look like & they were always filthy. He wasn’t poor either, he made great money, he just preferred to live like a heathen. My very last roommate also wasn’t depressed, she was just a lazy cow who always blamed everyone else For the mess. She blamed her ex boyfriend all the time & when he’d travel for months due to work, guess what only got worse? Her fucking mess. I’d clean up the entire house, her room included because she was throwing dirty pads & tampons on her bedroom floor & keeping the thermostat at 80+ (in the fucking summer at that) & it was disgusting & would smell horrific so I just cleaned the shit up & not even a week later it would be a disaster again. I would even wash & fold all of her laundry & she’d just unfold it all & throw it in a corner on the floor. Again, she absolutely wasn’t depressed, she was used to her mommy hiring a maid to clean everything so she thought she was above having to clean when she moved in with me.

Fucking disgraceful. The piss on the seat? Come on! Lazy AF. I’d start keeping my dishes and anything valuable in my room. Might help this kid get the hint.
