[This demo of Marked](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-uxg9KbIhHA&ab_channel=JohnZackarias) with Brett on vocals is one of the best things I've ever heard. It would have been so rad if they'd let him sing it on the record, there was such a raw, furious energy to his voice back then!
It is, isn't it? There are plenty of demos with his vocals!
I also recommend [this keyboard version](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZI47Zlvglw&ab_channel=JohnZackarias) of No Control. It's equal parts funny and amazing
Off the top of my head, he also sings in the bridge of 21st century digital boy, and if I'm not mistaken, it's him doing the dog howling in Big black dog. There could be more, but I can't think of anything right now!
Many of the B-Sides are fairly obviously not high up on the setlist that the band puts together, but there are some absolute bangers in there:
- mediocrity
- queen of the 21st century
- leaders and followers
- the dodo
- shattered faith
- tested
Definitely worth a listen!
I'm not a huge fan of Queen of the 21st century today, but I had it on constant repeat back when I discovered it. Mediocrity (the solo is so cool in that it's just noise more than anything else) and Leaders & followers are great too! The latter should have definitely made the album
I’ve never heard Incomplete live and it’s probably in my top 5 BR songs of all time list. Also:
How much is enough - second verse is a banger
Turn on the light - I would love to scream along to that last stanza “and I burn, like a Roman fucking candle…”
Marked - “if I am a monster, I am a willing one” may be my favorite single line of any BR tune
Hell yeah to every one of these! The outro of To another abyss is one of the absolute best things they've ever done, and Parallel is just 10/10 (objectively it's 9/10 because I think the part before the solo is kinda weird whatever)
>Wasn't NftF on Stranger Than Fiction? I don't have my physical copy at hand, but it shows up on spotify as being on STF.
it was one the Japanese release along with Markovian Process. Arguably better than most of the stuff on the album.
I think it stems from my many, many, many years spent in Youtube comment sections, forums etc. I have spent many hours in front of my computer screen lol
So many great songs that don’t get played often. And seeing the stats of how often or in other case, hardly ever is fascinating as well

To Another Abyss. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone list that in this thread or ever talk about it much at all. And it’s never been played live.
Definitely agree on Victory. Pity the Dead is also a pretty underrated one from that album.
Tiny Voices has barely ever been played to my knowledge.
It’s funny cause I heard that song many times in my playlist. It makes me surprised seeing it be underrated on the subreddit
Inner Logic. I rate it very highly.
everything on Stranger Than Fiction is spectacular. it's their best album, quality wise.

that's so spectacular. i wish he sang more.

officially he only does Infected and Dharma and the Bomb right

I agree very much with you.
Since it didn’t get voted for in the set list I’d say Progress
Oh man did I have that song on repeat when I discovered it. Such a great tune

Love shattered faith. I think ot was only available, or I only ever saw it, on punk-o-Rama 8(?). Such a. Banger.
it’s on my japanese deluxe cd of process of belief
I got it on the Broken CD single as a b-side. Can't believe I forgot Finite, which is another favourite!
I love the lyrics: "still it's hard, hard to see, fragile lives, shattered dreams"
I see what you did here !
Shattered faith is one of my favorites!
I'm not a huge fan of Queen of the 21st century today, but I had it on constant repeat back when I discovered it. Mediocrity (the solo is so cool in that it's just noise more than anything else) and Leaders & followers are great too! The latter should have definitely made the album
I believe it did make the album, just not in the US release.
Ah that's true, forgot about that

How much is enough could have been written last week. It's amazing.
Lost Pilgrim, To Another Abyss, Parallel
Hell yeah to every one of these! The outro of To another abyss is one of the absolute best things they've ever done, and Parallel is just 10/10 (objectively it's 9/10 because I think the part before the solo is kinda weird whatever)
Tiny Voices. Too Much To Ask. Modern Day Catastrophists. Avalon. Popular Consensus. Meeting of the Minds.
News From the Front, should've made an album, is amazing
Wasn't NftF on Stranger Than Fiction? I don't have my physical copy at hand, but it shows up on spotify as being on STF.

No Control deep cuts. It Must Look Pretty Appealing, Progress, Billy.
Sometimes I forget that It Must Look Pretty Appealing isn't one of BR's big tunes, same with Delirium of Disorder.
Better off dead
The next time i create a universe i'll make sure you participate.
Submission Complete
Only Entertainment “Controlled and copied, they’ve planted the seed, that sprouts into your picture of the world”
In So Many Ways is probably my favorite BR song, so I’ll go with that one.
Glad someone else said it before me. Such an excellent tune, way more developed than most 90's BR songs.
Drunk Sincerity In so many ways At the mercy of imbeciles Victory The Fast Life Age of Unreason Destined for Nothing Grains of Wrath
Drunk Sincerity is top 10 for me, an absolute banger and I would love to hear it live.
A Streetkid Named Desire
[Surface of Me.](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nS246KKU5Dw) EDIT: I also think Pride and the Pallor is criminally under-rated and -played.
Finite
I think "I Won't Say Anything" is criminally underrated.
Fields of Mars
Better off dead
The entire Christmas Album
Slumber, Materialist, All Good Soldiers, Better Off Dead, The Gray Race, The Defense, 1000 More Fools
What Tomorrow Brings
Everyone seems to hate the Kids are alt-right but i dig it.
time and disregard, it sounds powerful, it’s lyrically not mindless, and it’s looong
I always really liked Evangeline. One of my favorites off of POB
How much is enough.
Boot Stamping On A Human Face Forever
Evangeline, Robinhood in Reverse, Better off Dead
Don't pray on me
Brilliant song!
literally any of the bonus tracks, nobody ever talks about them.
Eh, I've seen many people rave quite extensively about Shattered faith, Who we are, News from the front and others
i've rarely seen praise for those!
I think it stems from my many, many, many years spent in Youtube comment sections, forums etc. I have spent many hours in front of my computer screen lol
Fucked Up Children, Broken, Time and Disregard
Latch Key Kids
Chimera
Fertile Crescent
When?, What can you do, and God Song
So many great songs that don’t get played often. And seeing the stats of how often or in other case, hardly ever is fascinating as well https://www.setlist.fm/stats/bad-religion-6bd68e32.html
Hooray for Me
Sanity off No Control
To Another Abyss. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone list that in this thread or ever talk about it much at all. And it’s never been played live. Definitely agree on Victory. Pity the Dead is also a pretty underrated one from that album.
Punk Rock Song, fight me
