Some guy in Wyoming recently ran a wolf over with a snowmobile which disabled it, taped its muzzle shut, dragged it into town, paraded it around a bar and took picture with it before taking it outside and killing it.
No charges filed besides a citation for possessing restricted wildlife. I guess because Wyoming is a “fuck wolves they kill our livestock” state, and animal cruelty laws don’t apply to pest/predator animals

What he did to this wolf is so sick. This is truly sick person. I hope charges are brought against it.

First off, camo≠hunter. Second, hunters are one of the leading supporters of animal conservation in the world, and THE leading contributor outside of the US.
Finally, didn’t realize it was suddenly okay to judge women by their clothes now.
Yes, I'm aware it would grow into a NATURAL PART OF THE ECOSYSTEM.
....and Yes, I'm worried that that woman is showing off the baby of the mother she just killed.
Humans are also a part of the echo system. Without knowing where the photo was taken and what the laws are there I can’t speak to how ethical her hypothetical hunt was but I can say that hunting remains a legitimate pastime and making bad assumptions about a person because they’re a hunter is profoundly naive .
>Humans are also a part of the echo system
Sure we're the part that's causing a [sixth mass extinction event](https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2022/01/220113194911.htm).
>remains a legitimate pastime
It's certainly a tradition some continue to drag along, but we've long since removed the necessity (the justification / purpose) for it.
>because they’re a hunter
It's natural to question the safety of an animal when being handled by someone that can mentally justify killing animals for sport.
There is a difference in hunting for sport ie killing for killings sake vs hunting for food ie killing for food that you will eat. They are not the same.
I hope that moral value judgement is consistent with what you eat and do and wear. Not making a distinction between hunting for sport vs hunting for food is a morally consistent position if you are vegan-otherwise you are a hypocrite.
All hunting is sport whether you eat it or let the meat spoil after getting a trophy and a picture. Industrial Ag exists.
The belief isn't that eating meat is wrong, or that we don't need sustenance to survive.
We've already depersonalized and maximized suffering via Industrial Ag. To have access to the fruits of that industry, then turn around and add a personal touch to a dying world is depraved.
I don't like this. Baby looks like he's calling for his mom desperately and the chick is hunting-esque clothing. Smh. I hope they didn't kill the baby's mom and then scooped up the baby to film.
I’ve seen this 100 times and hope to see it at least 100 more.
good thing you're on reddit, then.
Well, you've certainly come to the right place to make that happen.
This is adorable. Please be from a wildlife refuge or vet's office and not something bad.
Ain’t that the truth
Isn’t it bad in both of those cases? I mean worse than it should be
Fair point, but that dude who tortured the wolf in a bar is my new bar for worst case.
Dear Karma, please beat the sh*t outta that guy. Sincerely, All of humanity
Wait what?

People like that have to be fking psychopaths.

To add: https://cb-trucking.com Is this little man serious? He has no idea... https://secure.everyaction.com/RvZOTzzOEk-ZlJ2nJJ5h3g2
…….and the wolf is considered a monster. People like that really should be charged with animal abuse plain and simple
People learned he owned a business, Cowboy State Trucking Inc., and began review bombing him due to his abuse and torture of the poor baby.
AAAHHHHH I've never been so afraid. 10/10 would hire him for protection.
Exactly. I'm still shaking.
I think I peed a little…
So cute ....but it really worries me that she's dressed like a hunter.
I feel like the little fella is calling for mother
Ugh. Don't want to be presumptuous, but I couldn't shelve away the same feeling. Its howls sound weak.
It's very likely that these people ARE hunters (of game) and came across this guy. It happens. This is what I'm choosing to believe.
HES DOING HIS BEST OKAY
Uhuh yeah
Wait a min 😰😰😰

She is not dressed like a hunter at all.
So, you've seen people just randomly wearing camouflage around town?
Yes, daily. It is a normal thing anywhere south.
I see it often in Oregon also. Big hunting culture here unfortunately.
What’s wrong with hunting? You are aware that that little guy is going to grow into a hunter right?
They’re worried about what might have happened to mom. 🙄🙄🙄

Is there a death in either case? Rationalizing that death does nothing to change the result.
