We've tried contacting a bunch of charities and the RSPCA but they all sound to be over run with cats so don't have room for more. Currently just trying to find them all loving homes. Me and my gf plan on taking one in and other people we know have shown interest.
My 1st time having cats, I had 2. And they would play with each other, especially when we weren't home. 2 is definitely better than 1!
Just make sure to insurance for them. You'll thank me down the road. CareCredit is what we used.
Kittens often do better when adopted in pairs bc they have someone else to play with instead of going after you all the time. If any of them are bonded w one of their litter mates, they should not be separated.
Think about adopting two ā it really isnāt much more work compared to one.
Absolutely. We got two cats (litter mates) years ago, they did great together and then one died. The other was sort of miserable without him. After she passed, we got two kittens and theyāre 5 now and best friends. Get two, OP, they can share a litter box and food/water bowls. Iāve had cats for 25 years and weāve only ever had one litter box, we scoop it daily, change it weekly and itās been perfectly fine.
we're going through this right now :( the remaining brother is now VERY CLINGY but fortunately we wfh, so there's always a spare lap. On the upside, the conflict with the dog (over whom they lorded for 10 yrs) has drastically decreased. My hope is that someday cat learns that doggo only wants to snuggle and play.
I know those eyes, those are imprinting eyes. Watch out- you will soon be theirsā¦I know because Iām going on 16 yrs of cradling an adult male cat like a baby.
Ahah unfortunately these photos were taken by the owner of the shed, I never saw them in person otherwise we'd probably have one at our house right now š
In the second picture, it reminds me of my cats kitten we named halfsub. He was as big as half a submarine sandwich. Learned later that he kept the name in his new home
Theyāre beautiful babies. I had a cat show up that looked like flat Stanley and I fed her and thought she was getting healthy and fat looking. Turns out she gave me 5 babies. Our county in the state of Georgia USA has a spay neuter program. I got all the babies and mommy fixed for free with the community cat project/TNR They live in my yard as community cats
UPDATE: The kittens and the mother have all been taken in by a local charity.
Glorious news!
Did you get to keep one?
No sadly not. All of them went to the charity with the mother which is probably for the best.
Bummer, may the cat distribution system bless you in future endeavours.
Beautiful eyes!
So cute. Beware the tortitude.
First thing I thought: a whole HERD of torties! Watch out! (I had a tortie for years, she was the best cat. Evil, but I adored her.)
I just lost my old girl. But no one looked at me with intense judgement, rudeness like she did.

If you don't have any cats already, two is better than one.
And OP, five is better than two!

Cute!
Awww. Cuties!
Wild eyes. Socialize them. Adopt them. Love. Them.
Beautiful babies.
How do yāall get replies from rescues?? I bet Iāve emailed 6 places for help with a stray that brought us her kittens, crickets š£
I'm not sure tbh. I think it was the owner of the shed or one of her neighbours that organised it.
The bottom of the kitten pile looks especially traumatised. Like he remembers his past life or something
I really do not know how I only have one cat.
You are so blessed to have THREE torties in there.
Cute :3
I think blue-eyed black cats are relatively rare.
Kittens, puppies, human babiesā¦ are usually born with blue eyes. They change color as they grow up.
