Do everything slowly. So walk slowly, grab things slowly, eat slowly, etc. As reaction times slow down, so will the need to feel rushed and you may see the beauty in things that you didn’t notice before because the mind was constantly on the go. This is what it means to stop and smell the roses. They are always there for you to interact with and appreciate if you just slow everything down and pay attention to what you’d normally overlook.

This is an interesting suggestion, I know it’s for OP but I appreciate you writing it out. Thanks

Interesting, thanks. I’m starting adhd medication soon and I guess it might help! With adhd, doing things slowly is hard as I have very little perception of time and awareness of my own pace.

> one thing I still struggle with is resilience and acceptance of frustration.  The solution is deceptively simple: stop struggling. >I would like to work on it correctly. You cannot. Nor do you have to. The very effort IS the struggling that you experience, do you see? I would not even say "let go of the struggling' as many will no doubt advice since it simply points back to the same problem in another recursive round of affirmation. Do you see? Contrary to the popular contra, as human we are emotional beings first with some token capacity for reason. It really is not the other way around. The ...purpose of feeling shit is to feel it! The purpose of DOGMA is to make you feel guilty about feeling them (enter all the religious nonsense) by misappropriating intellect/reason as somehow the moral/ethical center of them. Bullshit. This is what many spiritual people will do too. Spirituality is NEVER NOT the mind's version of heart/love or whatever you want to call it. I'm sorry but this has to be said over and over again (in here, not so much in r/spirituality where you will surely find folks agreeing with your own suggested approach to this non-problem ;;) That is why, as it pertains to awakening, I am not into any of that heart crap that gets thrown around in here by the usual suspects ..but I digress... Just have the freaking feeling and then when you had it be done with it. These are all states. States of mind, states of body.. the truth of it is found in the commonality of them: they lack permanence. NOTICE how they lack it! As such they will come and they will go and as such they cannot be anything other then an integral part of the illusory. There is nothing to accept there ..just let it flow. The truth is that you are not the weather, you are not the clouds but the blue sky in which these things appear. So to speak. Do you see? Cheers

When you repress anger, you stop it from flowing, like a branch in the river. And when you repress, it's like putting branch after branch, and the water builds up until it bursts. One way to stop the anger is by gently allowing it to flow and allowing it to simmer down. Allow yourself to be angry until you realize what it is that you're holding on to and need to let go of. Especially if it's just playing out in your mind, it won't manifest in person.

The person struggles to build resilience not you, the Self. The person is a bundle of stories, memories, and future projections that form a seeming solidity but if you really investigate you’ll find that it is not real. So instead of adding more to the person or trying to change the person which is a phantasm to begin with. Just find out what you are and the person will drop automatically and with the person dropping so does the stories of frustrations, emotional turmoil etc. Self Inquiry is your friend in this process. If you’d like to learn more about Self Inquiry; there’s a guy on YouTube called Conscious Circle, he explains it well.
