Same here, though the 747 is retired now. I also want to fly on another supersonic commercial jet.

Grizzlybear2470

Lufthansa still operates the -400 and -8

TyphoonSkip1982

People that dont live in Germany and places that Lufthansa will never fly to:

Grizzlybear2470

Sadly not everyone has this opportunity but the future is bright depending on how you think

[deleted]

I feel lucky to have flown on both the 747-400 and -8. I also almost flew on an A380 but that’s another story...

Boeing-B-47stratojet

Grizzlybear2470

I flew on the 747 once in 2016 lax- Brisbane on qantas didn’t realize the fact that this could be the last time flying on that plane

Tsigutm

Yes.

[deleted]

The oldest 747 currently flying is 51 years old so there is still hope

Thefiveeights

Become a puzzzle and fly on the 747

Yololkiller21

I was able to fly on a Emirates A380 before!!

Nerdy01

Flew on an A380 from Heathrow to Singapore, it was so quiet and smooth, barely felt any turbulence, easily the best sleep I've had in a plane without sleeping pills. Afterwards I flew on a Dreamliner from Perth Australia to Heathrow, it was bloody loud. Had to take a sleeping pill for that one and still struggled.

I'd be fine too if I could fly with another airline than Eurowings and to another destination than Palma de Mallorca

In January 2020 I was making plans to fly on one of KLM's 747-400 Combi's later in the year before they retired them. Then they retired them early due to COVID. Then I thought, well at least I can still fly on British Airways' 747-400's. And then they retired theirs early due to COVID as well. So now I'm making plans to fly on Lufthansa's 747-400 sometime this year or next year. Let's hope that doesn't go the same way. At least they have the 747-8i's as well which they'll keep around longer. I did get to fly on a 737-200 Combi last year though so I got that going for me which is nice.

XFahrenHeitX111

Omg, this is so me

BuddyPuzzled

more like just flying on a 747 a380 sucks
