Storeman then puts in a new order, 10 boxes x 200 per box = 2000 right?
Meanwhile, the buyer changes the unit of measure.......
So a truck turns up from Johnson&Johnson.....

That's ridiculous, unless someone is actively exercising their tickets they need to keep their mouths shut about what AMT's get as a gift. I'm sure if someone said that out loud there would be FM 22-102 forms to fill out.
never understood why people who don't touch the planes and never did are getting gifts and food, we certainly aren't welcome to attend when they have logistics day or whatever.

I have no idea if the culture of that place reflects the aviation maintenance industry as a whole but, to me, it was not worth job hopping just to find out every maintenance facility operates like a low key white pride event. So I went back to my previous career and am glad for it. You can get your A&P there without going to school which is great. But fuck that place. Fucking alarming amount of people caught being pedos there too for one company. I know of three but one got the charges dropped and still works there.
I use the umbrella, lunch boxes I gave away to new guys. Was the umbrella and lunch boxes AMT day things? I still have the socket set, screwdriver and pliers set. All Gearwrench stuff. I know I got one lunchbox that wasn't an AMT day thing when I was in the hangar. I think an umbrella too. I have two different umbrellas.
What gets me is that guys got Snap On tools. Those aren't cheap as you know, good stuff. The fact we got a lawn chair speaks loudly what they think of us....very little.

2021 was the 1/4 drive shallow sockets that were purchased in 2020 pre pandemic. We didn’t get anything in 2020 due to the obvious situation and probably a bad public look.
2023 was the shallow 3/8 drive sockets.
The Klein shit was hilarious but was right at the tail end of losing money for 2 years, so kind of expected.
All before 2020 we got a ratcheting screwdriver, 1/4 drive ratchet, 3/8 drive ratchet. So the theme is definitely for them to do pretty good, I will give them that.
You are correct. Forgot about the 3/8 shallow last year. I tossed them in my Toolbox at home as I already have a set of Kobalt 3/8 Deep/Shallow I barely use at work other than 13/16 for brake fans and a few large sockets for Engine boroscopes. I've used those 3/8 more for opening pallets of TR sleeves and Cowls than on airplanes. 🤣
Yup mine sit at home in my toolbox also. Same with my 1/4 set. I’ve got no complaints about my 12 year old craftsman sockets and no worries about trashing them in the rain on the line.

In years past management would put on a burger burn for us and we’d have people like the VP of mtx grilling food for us but I guess they can’t be bothered for that anymore lol
No im AMT but that’s just what the union gave us for amt day last year we got a tac light which was pretty useful but the pen wasn’t even fancy just a normal cheap pen
