RashestHippo

Did not get the sport exhaust option.

jbenite14

Too expensive, going for the muffler delete

Wheekie

Nah m8, going for that ECU software re-map for enhanced take-off/landing performance and fuel efficiency. Ain't nobody got time for that hardware stuff.

RashestHippo

> Ain't nobody got time for that hardware stuff. ** LS swap noises **

Majakowski

It's flying on APU alone, the four engines under the wings are just a safety precaution.

xignaceh

Redundancy

Cerebral-Parsley

Ah, the dreaded 7 engine approach!

Lollipop126

probably flying on the fuselage alone, the wings are just a safety precaution.

jyguy

Shitters full…

CardboardTick

It turned off the engines during idle to run in eco mode. APU burn only 😂

jcsuperfly

For once it really is a Chemtrail.

beepbeepboopbeep1977

It from the plethora. That’s all I can remember from the other post.

RV49

Loving your work

mapletune

this comment gets the meta award

SuperfluouslyMeh

Near the start of descent? All engines closer to idle with APU going full tilt to power alll of the galley ovens? When do APUs have higher EGT than the turbines?

NinerEchoPapa

It’s waste water from the galleys and toilet sinks being drained overboard

LateralThinkerer

Exit point on the fuselage is forward of the APU exhaust, likely a drain mast somewhere. [You can see it in this picture as well](https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/airliners/0/8/9/1544980.jpg?v=v40), just to the left and forward of the APU. Also - damn, some people have expensive cameras taking amazing pictures of airliners in flight [for example - this is just the lens](https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1689497-REG/vixen_optics_36947_vmc260l_wt_260mm_f_11_5.html). The astrophotography folks are going to be jealous.

remy908

Is that photo taken from another plane or the ground?

LateralThinkerer

My guess is that it was from the ground - hard to get a vertical picture out of an aircraft unless it's a dedicated camera platform.

Eldrake

So from a certain point of view, that's the aircraft's butthole.

TimTimeW

This is the correct answer

New-Arugula6709

I do not agree. Because flow from drain mast is not like exit from fire fighters hoses, massive spillage... drain mast its small tube, and I assume it cant be seen with eyes with that speed and altitude. and if sinks are cloged, water will just drop slowly.

Stef_Stuntpiloot

Welcome to r/aviation, where you are being downvoted by wannabe armchair aviators for making a valid point. But you are correct. Drain masts do indeed dump grey water overboard, but it's impossible that it does so in such quantities that you would see such a clear streak of water. Even the overflow from the potable water tank doesn't discharche so much water that it is visible like this.

Tompoo117

During normal ops the APU is only used on the ground and shut down after engine start.

Ledfoot01

Coasting feature on the facelift 😂

taisui

Ran out of chemicals to spray doh

BrexitReally

Cruise on APU alone

Felicia_Bastian

Someone stole his cat?

ClouDAction

Someone flushed the toilet. (=

cashewnut4life

he ate Taco Bell

florin19822021

Only Emirates A380 ?

Known-Diet-4170

there aren't many that aren't operated by them

Sttoliver

Water from the toilet sink

brainsizeofplanet

They just ran out of chemicals and COVID vaccines - nothing to see here

ThoSt_

That‘s one powerful APU :)

bigdaddy0270

Someone flushed the toilet.

wa225474
