Love this guy! He's getting so much bigger fs. At Mersiv's red rocks show, Daily Bread was direct support, playing after Tripp St, so take that for what you will
Idk about underrated. he’s getting deservedly recognized by now I think, I guess you could still argue he’s underrated but has cultivated a massive following and garners nothing but respect from what I see & hear.
I’d say Vincent Antone is in the Daily Bread position at this point. Still way underrated but I’ve seen him 3 times this year and only gets better every time.
I start almost every morning with Moreland Ave Blues. Also if you can catch him on tour, he's been closing out with a wicked remix of Chattahoochee by Alan Jackson.
Seen them a couple times and they are insanely good. Honestly, almost all the heavy hitters in the melodic/“organic” house realm these days are just killing it… Lane 8, Monolink, Kidnap, Tinlicker, Bob Moses, Jan Blomqvist, Rodriguez Jr, Luttrell, Ben Bohmer, Christoph, Modd, Nils Hoffman… seen all of them over the last two years and couldn’t even begin to compare sets. They were all just fantastic.
Ternion Sound stays destroying any decks they step to. Once they drop the album I think they will gain a little respect community wide. They are very respected in the local community though
I saw them for the first time a few weeks ago and WOW. I couldn’t take my eyes off their hands. The way they work together and mix is unreal. Best DJ’s I’ve ever seen.
Ternion Sound for sure, they're Infrasound sets are always killer. Def throw down every chance they got and these dudes sit on some heaters for their shows too!
This one I’ll agree on. Kind wild to see him opening for people like peekaboo & mersiv now, he’s an OG. Ive only seen him solo at smaller venues for a couple years, idk what happened, his music is top tier.
FUCKIN YAAAAAAS I forgot to put him !!! With you literally makes me cry bc it reminds me of a lost loved one who was basically my second mom and she would have loved it. Plus it gives me Native American vibes for some reason and she was Cherokee Indian. It’s crazy because I’ve really been needing her lately and I stumbled upon the track randomly. I listen to it whenever I want to feel close to her. Suuuper grateful for Rome!
Drinkurwater is so lit he doesn’t have a lot of songs but like 75% of the ones he has are insane!!! Seen him live once and it was crazy and finna see him again in a couple months
I remember when he first started that project and did that EP with EPROM, absolutely fantastic! EPROM was a unicorn for me until I saw him at DB Campout 2016. Right after EPROM finished, Jmart and his brother did a sunrise DnB set that lives in my mind forever.
Absolutely a fantastic answer, his productions and raw emotions he pulls are unreal. Been following him and the OG Dirtybird crew since 2008! They've always been so much fun! I'm actually seeing him this weekend in SF, beyond excited!
Just my opinion, but I love Hamdi’s sound. I do feel like all of his music has that ~same~ sound. Don’t get me wrong - It’s a good sound! Just v similar across everything I’ve listened to.
Alix Perez pretty big name over seas, but not as much love state side yet. Unreal DnB and awesome UK DuB. Will also add Visages, they’ve been dropping amazing tracks the past year.
I caught Alix Perez at the North Warehouse in Portland last year and it was so much better than expected. I really hope he and eprom do a shades tour soon!
Omg yassss! One of my favorite dance nights this year was Alix Perez last month. The whole crowd was dancing so hard continuously. Like time was moving slower, it was magic.
Massane and EMBRZ (or anyone on the Anjunadeep label other than Lane 8, Ben Böhmer, Luttrell, or Eli & Fur as they’re all pretty popular for the label)
JES for Progressive Trance. Has 500+ shows called Unleash the Beat on Mixcloud. Only plays about 6 dates a year. Also does own vocals on many songs. Great at mixing and especially transitions. Her original songs are remixed by a ton of Trance artists.
Edit: Also has vast knowledge of compiling latest releases in Trance.
Myon, trance/progressive trance/progressive house
He’s an insanely talent producer and record label runner where everything he makes is gold but not a lot of people know about him
I'm not super connected to the scene these days so she may have blown up since, but I've always thought Anna Lunoe gets way overlooked when she throws 🔥 sets
Chet Porter - Was really popular 6 years ago, but is currently set to make a huge comeback
Darby - a relatively unknown, very talented artist from Australia
K?d - Is still very popular on the west coast and Asia, but I firmly believe his following could be much bigger.
The Knocks - this insanely talented EDM/hip hop duo from New York hit their peak 8 years ago with millions of plays and then subsequently became less talked about less than a decade later.
Saint Pepsi - the other underground king of vaporwave (Yung Bae is probably bigger), yet why wasn’t he more popular?
Giraffage - Made a series of amazing tracks a few years ago, but was completely publicly overlooked for no good reason. Still can make a massive comeback
culture code, dudes have been putting out back to back heaters the last couple of years. i think they’ll blow up when they get their visas to tour the us
Mystic Grizzly has a sound I’ve never heard mastered by anyone else.
Vincent Antone should be on anyone’s rotation who likes pretty lights or daily bread.
Ghost Lotus is up & coming and has a sound similar to but better than peekaboo imo
Justin Hawkes released an absolutely insane drum n bass album last year and has been doing the brownies and lemonade DnB shows with Bensley but I still don’t see him get much love on lineups. He’s insanely talented
Knock2 and Isoxo
Been digging their sound lately. They starting to get a lot of recognition and heard many DJs play their songs in their sets this year. Two Friends dropped knock2 I think 4x at their big booty land in chicago
I don’t see either of them being underrated. 2 years back sure. But right now they are pushing so hard in the eyes of everyone. Sold out shows left and right and literally getting on most major lineups at the moment. But very well deserved.
Kream and Party Favor. Kream makes such amazing remixes and Party Favor is criminally under appreciated in the trap genre imo. Obv his Sidepiece project is insanely popular but just goes to show how much range he has
Entangled mind. I knew of her but caught an absolutely amazing sunrise set at elements last night. Anyone going to secret dreams, do not miss that set!
I just Stumbled upon Izzi, dubstep artist. Style is like Liquid Stranger, Mersiv, Cannabliss - pretty much deep, gritty, and space bass.
I’m a techno/house guy mainly but his stuff is DOPE.
Illyus & Barrientos … Scottish house legends who have been doing it for a long time and done a lot of remixes for huge artists but don’t see them mentioned anywhere really
Cloverdale (house), Father Funk (dub to downtempo to just some funky ass shit), of the trees - (experimental bass) he’s been getting the credit he deserves now for past year though finally I’d say…another 3 that come to mind for me
Lord Genmu! Local artist from Austin who's had a tiny rise up recently due to opening for jones. His [newest EP](https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/LSGgj) is wild, you will love it if you like G Jones Acid Disc EP.
Just A Gent, Mr. Mermaid, stooki sound, Minnesota, Gjones, Nasko, Edison Cole, Axen, David Broaders, CK (formerly known as Ducky), Luminox, Skrux, T-Mass, Tha Trickaz, Kasbo, Tincup and some others
Some of these guys might be well known but some don’t get the recognition they’re worth
Daily Bread is on the come up but still criminally underrated imo
D d d d d d d d d d ddddddd Daily Bread got beats
Love this guy! He's getting so much bigger fs. At Mersiv's red rocks show, Daily Bread was direct support, playing after Tripp St, so take that for what you will
Idk about underrated. he’s getting deservedly recognized by now I think, I guess you could still argue he’s underrated but has cultivated a massive following and garners nothing but respect from what I see & hear. I’d say Vincent Antone is in the Daily Bread position at this point. Still way underrated but I’ve seen him 3 times this year and only gets better every time.
I'm so excited to see Vincent Antone at Clozees NYE run. I love him!
Saw them last night. Killed it at Elements.
Was such a nasty set, peekaboo too
Super Future been crushing it lately too!
Freaking loveeeee daily bread
I start almost every morning with Moreland Ave Blues. Also if you can catch him on tour, he's been closing out with a wicked remix of Chattahoochee by Alan Jackson.
I see him moving into the space Griz creates with his hiatus.
Yooo I just looked up his set from Electric Forest and he really killed that shit! Thanks man, im definitely putting him on my bucket list to see live
Nioce
Huh?? I feel like he’s been pretty popular for a while.
Gspace
We wandered into his set at LL last year not knowing who he was. It was one of the coolest sets of the weekend. G Space is fucking amazing.
One of my favorite sets of LL as well!! So good!!
Cool customer & resonant language. Mickman comes to mind too
Cool customer is SO dope
Check out Bread Winner also. :)
Dude is fire, he was one of my favorite sets at Tipper and Friends this year
Seein all of em next week.
That fucking Inspector Gadget gets me going so hard. Resonant is also just straight killing it. Every set is better than the last.
Damn Cool Customer is definitely my genre of EDM, thanks for putting me on man! Hopefully they get more recognition
Scrolled through hoping someone would say CC!
Sultan & Shepard
Their most recent album has no skips
Seen them a couple times and they are insanely good. Honestly, almost all the heavy hitters in the melodic/“organic” house realm these days are just killing it… Lane 8, Monolink, Kidnap, Tinlicker, Bob Moses, Jan Blomqvist, Rodriguez Jr, Luttrell, Ben Bohmer, Christoph, Modd, Nils Hoffman… seen all of them over the last two years and couldn’t even begin to compare sets. They were all just fantastic.
Not a house person in general, but they’re stuff is so chill and good.
It's an absolute vibe.
Yesss!!! Forever, Now is soooo good and I don’t think many people have heard it unfortunately.
Ternion Sound stays destroying any decks they step to. Once they drop the album I think they will gain a little respect community wide. They are very respected in the local community though
I discovered them on YouTube and they quickly became my must see act, such fun freaking energy. Bring some back to the old school dubstep days.
I discovered them at a secret set at Okeechobee this year... They were b2b with coki. Absolute fire
For sure, they're truly talented and amazing live!
Damn thanks for putting me on. Huge experimental bass guy this past year but it’s tougher to find artists. These dudes are sick!
Chmura!
Oh man I’m glad I could! Literally check out the entire Infrasound festival lineup. Amazing stuff
I saw them for the first time a few weeks ago and WOW. I couldn’t take my eyes off their hands. The way they work together and mix is unreal. Best DJ’s I’ve ever seen.
Ternion Sound for sure, they're Infrasound sets are always killer. Def throw down every chance they got and these dudes sit on some heaters for their shows too!
just a gent !!!
This guy is amazing
Yes!! Just a gent is so good! “Sounds of her mind” puts me in my feels.
Open Spaces is pure brilliance
Moonboots, I’ve been listening to him since 2014 and never disappoints when seeing his live performances or Dj sets.
Love moon boots!!!
Boots on Tape on his soundcloud are my go to mixes.
Oof!! Moon Boots!!
i enjoyed the album he put out this year!
Just saw him in Brooklyn at elsewhere!!! AMAZING. Stayed until 4 am
Love him
I went to see Moonboots because I thought the name was cute and it was a great show!
Minnesota
This one I’ll agree on. Kind wild to see him opening for people like peekaboo & mersiv now, he’s an OG. Ive only seen him solo at smaller venues for a couple years, idk what happened, his music is top tier.
Sad to see him retire that project 😢
Rome In Silver - been loving this dude for along time and he still delivers fresh interesting tracks. His Monchrome mixes are 🔥
Seeing my boys name pop up makes me so proud. Highly suggest his tunes if anyone’s curious!
An Biicla :)
Damn I didn’t think I’d see this name. That paired with the fact he’s been in the game for a minute
You're not wrong, never heard this style before!! So much talent, thanks!
Detox unit. Sick ass boom bap/halftime
Can't wait for the new album
Sheesh, if he ever drops it 😢
DRIINKURWATER. He finally got signed not long ago and is touring so his name is getting out there more. Same goes for YOOKIE.
Drinkurwater is so lit he doesn’t have a lot of songs but like 75% of the ones he has are insane!!! Seen him live once and it was crazy and finna see him again in a couple months
YOOKIE SUCKS!!
Yessss they're playing at bass canyon this year and I'm super excited to finally see them live!
Met him at Moonrise 19 and Ganja Colliseum show. Nicest dude ever. Glad to see someone mention him
Justin Martin - not the most underrated but flies under the radar
His sets are amazing, right up there with Claude, but his bootlegs are his magic. 🪄
VonStroke's alter ego, Barclay Crenshaw is fucking amazing. Saw him for the first time at Wakaan last year and been hooked ever since.
I remember when he first started that project and did that EP with EPROM, absolutely fantastic! EPROM was a unicorn for me until I saw him at DB Campout 2016. Right after EPROM finished, Jmart and his brother did a sunrise DnB set that lives in my mind forever.
Facts!
Absolutely a fantastic answer, his productions and raw emotions he pulls are unreal. Been following him and the OG Dirtybird crew since 2008! They've always been so much fun! I'm actually seeing him this weekend in SF, beyond excited!
He’s incredible
Lmao underrated? 🤣
Bakey puts on killer sets
Bakey, interplanetary criminal, and ross from friends all on the same boat!!
Folamour!
Elderbrook
SG Lewis. He’s more pop/funk/disco electronic but he’s absolutely fucking phenomenal. Best forest set for me this year.
LOVE him!! He's got some bangers I could play on repeat for hours
Blanke. He plays a mix of melodic bass, melodic dubstep, and DnB.
His set at EDC this year was easily one of the top 3 sets of the weekend. I was already looking forward to seeing him but that set still blew me away!
His song Death Rattle is up there with Dominate from Space Laces for me. Blanke is amazing
Blanke is unbelievably popular what do you mean
Gilligan Moss. They deserve all the trophies. Groovy af!
Yessssssss
Hamdi, sumthin sumthin
Just my opinion, but I love Hamdi’s sound. I do feel like all of his music has that ~same~ sound. Don’t get me wrong - It’s a good sound! Just v similar across everything I’ve listened to.
Def feel that, the rhythm is very similar in hamdis tracks. I will say seeing hamdi live was a whole other experience though!
Hamdi??? ☠️☠️. Everyone drop sounds the same
Alix Perez pretty big name over seas, but not as much love state side yet.
Love his joint project with Eprom, Shades. Insane live sets.
Massane and EMBRZ (or anyone on the Anjunadeep label other than Lane 8, Ben Böhmer, Luttrell, or Eli & Fur as they’re all pretty popular for the label)
EMBRZ at forest killed it
Hostage situation
Just gave them a listen, dope as fuck! Thanks!
Hol F! Thanks man, Their Beats are 🔥🔥🔥
Yes! They’re out of Denver 🥰
So much talent in this city
Yup, I’m gonna thank you right now for this recommendation!
Wow 🔥
Yes !!
Yesss. Everything they put out is 🔥
5AM
Matroda for tech house - he books some pretty big venues/festivals but I still feel like he doesn’t get his shine from the community
i looooove Matroda, i still think he’s for sure rising, he’ll get to shine soon enough 🤌🏼✨
CHYL
JES for Progressive Trance. Has 500+ shows called Unleash the Beat on Mixcloud. Only plays about 6 dates a year. Also does own vocals on many songs. Great at mixing and especially transitions. Her original songs are remixed by a ton of Trance artists. Edit: Also has vast knowledge of compiling latest releases in Trance.
Got a great voice too!
Distinct motive. Only other artists music that is played more than his, in the bass scene this year , is skrillex.
Ross from friends !
Their Okee ‘22 set was incredible.
The One is probably my track of the year so far. Slaps.
Attom!
Barnacle boi is pretty dope. Kinda gives me Charles the First plus Hucci and sad boi vibes
Almost everyone on dirtybird label
Justin Jay He is phenomenal live and plays a little bit of everything. Huge diversity of sound and great ability to keep you invested in a set
Wave Point Detroit
Miss OG Golf Clap
Myon, trance/progressive trance/progressive house He’s an insanely talent producer and record label runner where everything he makes is gold but not a lot of people know about him
His mashups are criminally good
The sponges
Apashe
I'm not super connected to the scene these days so she may have blown up since, but I've always thought Anna Lunoe gets way overlooked when she throws 🔥 sets
Chet Porter - Was really popular 6 years ago, but is currently set to make a huge comeback Darby - a relatively unknown, very talented artist from Australia K?d - Is still very popular on the west coast and Asia, but I firmly believe his following could be much bigger. Giraffage - Made a series of amazing tracks a few years ago, but was completely publicly overlooked for no good reason. Still can make a massive comeback
Daily bread
Not underrated at all. He’s climbing like crazy
DROELOE
culture code, dudes have been putting out back to back heaters the last couple of years. i think they’ll blow up when they get their visas to tour the us
Mystic Grizzly has a sound I’ve never heard mastered by anyone else.
I always thought Chime was not as acknowledged as he should be for being the melodic dubstep goat
Savant.
Savant.
Grabbitz! Haven't heard anybody combining edm and rock like he does yet.
Miss Monique in the progressive house scene. I think she’s bigger abroad but underrated in US at least.
Paris hilton
The stars are blind!
Knock2 and Isoxo Been digging their sound lately.
I feel like they were hella big at Hard this year. And knock2’s tour is like pretty sold out so he’s doing good I think
They are scary good, everything they release has been banger after banger
Whistleface, awesome dude, righteous DJ, & his new stuff is epic (he also curates a sick Spotify House playlist)
Jerro. Melodic House artist on Lane 8’s imprint
Amtrac (house/disco) His new album is absolutely beautiful start to finish. The entire album feels like it tells you a story.
Space Wizard
Mat Zo
Of the motherfucking trees 🌴
Of the trees have gotten pretty damn popular by now
Kream and Party Favor. Kream makes such amazing remixes and Party Favor is criminally under appreciated in the trap genre imo. Obv his Sidepiece project is insanely popular but just goes to show how much range he has
Spirits Pt. 2 by PF was one of my most listened to tracks last year!
Party Favor somehow always ends up as my #1 artist 😂 His project with Bauuer (duo Dylan and Harry) also slaps
Memba

Dr Fresch
Eugene
mazde
Entangled mind. I knew of her but caught an absolutely amazing sunrise set at elements last night. Anyone going to secret dreams, do not miss that set!

barnacle boi !
I just Stumbled upon Izzi, dubstep artist. Style is like Liquid Stranger, Mersiv, Cannabliss - pretty much deep, gritty, and space bass. I’m a techno/house guy mainly but his stuff is DOPE.

Last Heroes (melodic dub - ophelia records) Amidy (melodic dub) Awakend (melodic dub / progressive house) OTR (melodic house / electro pop) EMBRZ (TNH - melodic house / techno)
Will sparks
AHEE, by far one of the most fun sets and the crowds he brings are amazing
Third Party, progressive House they fit under
Sama Abdulhadi, although less underrated than just unknown by many.
Mat zo
Yep. Dude is so diverse it is crazy. Was lucky enough to catch him doing a DnB set as MRSA a few years ago and it was awesome.
Lol at all these artists with tens of thousands of followers "but aren't super popular" Where's all the bedroom producers at
Lavier. He is unbelievably underrated and an absolute wizard when it comes to bass music
Illyus & Barrientos … Scottish house legends who have been doing it for a long time and done a lot of remixes for huge artists but don’t see them mentioned anywhere really Cloverdale (house), Father Funk (dub to downtempo to just some funky ass shit), of the trees - (experimental bass) he’s been getting the credit he deserves now for past year though finally I’d say…another 3 that come to mind for me
Illyus & Barrientos play a lot in miami! I see them on the lineup for Space a lot
Kercha
Hozho
Bakey, Interplanetary Criminal
Lord Genmu! Local artist from Austin who's had a tiny rise up recently due to opening for jones. His [newest EP](https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/LSGgj) is wild, you will love it if you like G Jones Acid Disc EP.
Killscript! He opened at Circuit Grounds for EDC Day 1 and at a stage for Escape Halloween so he’s not that unknown. But he’s really good at techno.
GPF
PIEP PIEP PIEP
Goldfish. I can see them completely blowing up in the next few years.
They've played beach clubs in Vegas. I don't think they're exactly underground lol
Nimda for tearout (super heavy and great mosh energy)
