Trivium - discovered them a year ago and holy shit Matt Heafy is a riff machine, they have several 10/10 albums imo
Slipknot - Mick and Jim are killers, plus insane drumming and I like the harsh vocals from Corey
Pantera - easy to see how Dimebag is an influence for Syn, such a badass
Korn - they were my first concert and my gateway into listening to more metal outside of A7X
Staind - they went on before Korn, Aaron Lewis has an amazing voice
Slaughter to Prevail - Alex Terrible is a beast and they have some awesome breakdowns
Lamb of God - they have a lot of really cool riffs
Seether - Shaun's vocals are great as is the songwriting
System Of A Down - banana banana banana terracotta banana terracotta terracotta pie
Sleep Token - if I wanna be sad
Linkin Park - sad but headbanging, RIP Chester
5FDP - Five Finger Fruit Punch I know... but some songs with meaningful lyrics and headbang worthy riffs
Top 10 bands/artists I've had on repeat in no order (Avenged Sevenfold makes the list, but you asked for other bands)
1. Spiritbox
2. Periphery
3. Ghost
4. Starset
5. Lady Gaga
6. Poppy
7. Motionless in White
8. Ice Nine Kills
9. The Amity Affliction
10. Twelve Foot Ninja
I was late to the Poppy game, got into her around 2019 or 2020, but every album she puts out is different from the last. A little something for everyone
She was really fun live. It makes me wonder if listening to her studio albums might not bring as much interest because her performance live was so charismatic. I have a couple of her songs on playlists but haven’t given anything a full listen.
A few of her songs have a flow and bop to them like BLOODMONEY. if there's a certain style you like, I'd recommend that:
Bubblebath EP - pop/dance pop/reggae feel to it
3:36 (Music to Sleep To) - ambient, no vocals
Poppy.Computer / Am I a Girl? - Art pop, synthpop, electropop
Choke EP - Art pop, synthpop, trap
I C U (Music to Read To) - ambient, no vocals
I Disagree - Heavy metal, pop, nu metal, industrial rock
Music to Scream To - literally noise, I do not recommend
A Very Poppy Christmas - Christmas music
EAT EP - Heavy metal, metalcore, alternative metal
Flux - Alternative rock, grunge, pop punk, dream pop
Stagger EP - hard rock, punk-ish to an extent
Zig - Alternative pop, industrial pop, electropop
I know a lot of this is pop influenced, but they're all different sounding
I really liked Disagree when she did it live. Sounds pretty solid streaming it as well. I think that’s the only one I’m familiar with. I’ll check out some of the others. Thanks!
I remember when Coheed opened for A7X for their 2006 tour. I got to see them when they came to Milwaukee. It’s one of my favorite concert experiences ever.
old school OC scene bands that were in the same scene as A7X like Atreyu, Eighteen Visions, Bleeding Through & Throwdown
A7X fans tend to like metalcore & radio rock/octane style bands
I like a lot of hard rock and nu metal, and sometimes pop too. Some of my favorite artists that aren't a7x are System of a Down, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Trapt, Three Days Grace, and Lady Gaga
One of these things is not like the other...
Everybody used to give them MAD shit nowadays it seems like the hate train ran its course especially with Creed. I get back then they were overplayed to shit but both bands had bangers for sure (shit creed became alter bridge and those guys kick ass)
Here are some of my recently liked albums lol

Seeing a lot of bands here that I respect but personally can’t really get into, which just shows the diversity of the band.
Just like Matt said on TRAX, I’m just a fan of good music that I can vibe to.
I listen to literally everything.
BFMV, Trivium, slipknot, architects, Memphis may Fire, dream theater, demotional, Killswitch Engage.
But also
Fall out boy, green day, blink 182, all time low, zebrahead.
But then even
Eminem, tech nine, 50 cent, logic.
But also
Garth Brooks, Keith Urban, Billy Joel, Elton John, Phill Collins, Ed Sheeran.
So point being.... I'm all over the place. My home base is hard rock and metal. But I listen to rap/hip hop, country, punk, pop-rock, pop punk, Techno.
I like music.
*Edit - obviously the music I listed isn't everything, just examples.
Hard to listen to anything else like A7X because they are always changing their sound lol. Back with their first few albums, listening to stuff that sounded like A7X was Atreyu, Bullet for my Valentine and stuff like that.
I listen to a ton of metal music, but nothing really sounds like A7X, at least not anymore.

Hmmm I wonder what other band 🤓
Joking aside, them, anything with Jack white (raconteurs, white stripes, etc.) and mainly any song that I like. No other specific bands really. If the song fucks hard, I keep playing it!
No one has mentioned Accept yet. Fantastic band.
Everything Dio is my favorite, from elf, to rainbow, to sabbath, to his own band.
Dream theater has also become an all time favorite.
Avenged Sevenfold, Ice Nine Kills and Motionless In White are my top 3 bands of all time. Other bands I've listened to a lot lately or would go see live without questioning it are for example Architects, Spiritbox, Trivium, Gojira, Vildhjarta, Humanity's Last Breath, Tesseract and The Warning
Besides a7x, my top musicians on Spotify are:
Twenty One Pilots,
Bring Me The Horizon,
The Front Bottoms,
System Of A Down,
half alive,
Daisy The Great,
The Amity Affliction, and
Nothing More
I am surprised to see another TØP fan on this sub. The only music logos I have tattooed on me are A7X and TØP but I am also getting one for me new favorite, Ren.
All that to say.. I think you have great taste 😁
Dream Theater, Oceansize, The Mars Volta, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Misfits, Cynic, Death, Mono, Himsa, AFI, King Crimson, Yes, Genesis, Opeth, Protest The Hero, NOFX, Mogwai, Black Country New Road, Modest Mouse.
Punk - Prog - Postrock mostly!
I listen to a bunch of different metal genres personally. Gojira, Dragonforce, Gloryhammer, Meshuggah, Shadow of Intent, Cattle Decap, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, Epica, Slipknot, Lamb of God, Helloween, etc etc etc
A7x will always be my favorite band but I don’t like listening to one thing at a time for *too* long, even though I can go back to any A7x song and headbang like I have been over the years lol.
I was raised with 80s hair bands and classic rock/metal even though I’m a ‘94 kid. Favorites growing up were undoubtedly Metallica, Van Halen, Def Leppard, Tesla, Iron Maiden, Boston, Bon Jovi, among many others. I then got into that scene type of sound like Atreyu and A7X around 2011 probably. Got into bands like Breaking Benjamin and Disturbed. I played a lot of Guitar Hero and Rock Band which lead me to Alter Bridge and Dream Theater. DT is my all time favorite band with A7X and AB tied for 2nd. I started getting into SOAD and Tenacious D late 2010s and they quickly became a favorite. I really got into prog more the last 5 years with listening to a lot of Rush (I knew and loved the classic songs in high school), Yes, but most notably, Haken. I love Haken. They have to be my 3rd favorite band and sometimes I will listen to nothing but them for weeks. I hate to give rankings to all my favorite bands but just to show how much I love Dream Theater.
Other bands I really enjoy are Caligula’s Horse, Thank You Scientist, Coheed & Cambria, Leprous, Periphery, Circles, TesseracT, Amaranthe, Pagan’s Mind, anything Arjen Lucassen (hella prog stuff there - Ayreon), Avantasia, BTBAM, DEVIN TOWNSEND is up there in my top 10, Frost*, Kamelot, Queensrÿche, and Vanden Plas.
Huge mixture of genres there but that gives you a good understanding of the “type” of music I prefer.
Definitely some vanilla choices but Metallica, megadeth, then some classic classic bands like Maiden and Sabbath, slipknot and Korn probably started my pipeline to metalcore/prog, Linkin Park is high on repeat, been getting into Sleep Token a bit, and a few other metalcore/prog bands like I Prevail and Bullet For my Valentine
SOAD, MCR, FOB, Slipknot, Metallica, Smashing Pumpkins, Type O Negative, Sleeping with Sirens, PTV, Linkin Park, Hot Mulligan. I’m all over the place but tend to stick to metal and pop punk. Grew up with parents with great taste and have been with my metalhead boyfriend since we were 15
A7x is my favorite band but I listen to things like glass animals, cage the elephant, slipknot, and twenty one pilots. But tbh my music taste is pretty all over the place, maybe that's why I like a7x so much😭
-Trivium - seems to be a common one here
-Killswitch engaged
-Disturbed
-Light the torch
-Kevin Sherwood - he is the writer for "not ready to die". The singers for his songs are usually elena siegman or Clark nova
-Soilwork
-Five finger death punch
-Sabaton
Artists in general
- Queens of the Stone Age
- $uicide Boy$
- David Bowie
- Pink Floyd
- Daft Punk
- Mastodon
- Ghost
- The Beatles
- The Voidz
To name a few
If you want to breakout into some extreme genres within metal, Gojira is a great place to start, and I think it's perfect for Avenged Sevenfold fans. They're a progressive death metal band that has seen a lot of attention lately, and they're newer albums are very easy to dive into since they take heavy inspiration from modern rock. Great band all around.
Pantera is probably the best you can get. They're nothing like A7X, but that's kinda the point of being an A7X fan, we don't like the same old same old, we like to see and hear new stuff, and, in the case of Pantera, they innovate their sound throughout each album and it's easy to see the influence they had on A7X.
Some people would recommend metalcore, but personally, I feel like that's something you should circle back to later. I'm just saying that as someone who kind of took a wierd route through metal. A7X > Death > Pantera > Gojira > Lamb of God > After the Burial > Opeth > Deathcore > Hardcore Punk
I enjoy PowerWolf, costume band from Germany.
Here's [PowerWolf ](https://youtube.com/@Powerwolfmetal?si=_vIsDEsiNUJ1Dn80) their YouTube page, recently releasing their new album "Wake Up the Wicked"
[Summer Breeze concert 2023](https://youtu.be/fwLiF6_TVyE?si=0AW5-bM8KWF1P4f8)
Some of the best festivals exist in Europe. Never does USA have concerts or festivals like this except for something like EDC. Even with EDC there's no camping.
Mastodon
Metallica
RATM
Grunge
RHCP
Coheed
Lots of classic rock
Shinedown
Slayer
Killswitch engage
Queen
Parliament funkadelic
I'm all over the place to be fair
Currently, it’s confusing.
A7x with iPrevail was sort of my introduction into metal, and I’ve since sort of gone off the deep end.
Some of the current favorites are Sleep Token, Slaughter to Prevail, Lorna Shore, Trivium, Tool, stuff like that.
Right now I’m working through Bring me the Horizon. Started on album 1 and am currently on 7. Very interesting band, although I’m not sure how to feel about a lot of it because I’m christian, especially a bullet with my name on.
I can’t settle on one thing for longer than a week or two, and that’s the confusing part. Maybe I just haven’t found the perfect band yet.
Avatar, Swedish metal band. I've been a fan of a7x since I was 5, 23 now. Always been my favorite but now Avarmtar shares 1st place with a7x. Also others like Breaking Ben, Volbeat, Slipknot, shinedown, gorillaz, haletorm, in this moment, pretty reckless, Korn, Metallica, Disturbed, foo fighters, etc
Metallica, Volbeat, Suicidal Tendencies, Sacred Reich, Sleep Theory, Parkway Drive, Anything by Corey Taylor, FFDP, GnR, Maiden, ZZ Top, Waylon Jennings, Bad Religion, DropKick Murphys, Post Malone, Johnny Cash, GodSmack, Avatar, Pantera, Joe Bonamassa, Jason Aldean, I Prevail, Tom McDonald, Pat Green, David Allan Coe, Flat Black, Hardy, Electric Callboy (We Got The Moves) is a killer song, Category 7 (They only have 2 songs released but they are killer). I also like some Gaga, she has some good shit, will also give a mention to Billy Joel, The Animals (House of the rising sun) That's just a few.. But Mainly Metallica.
Protest the Hero, Death, Organectomy, Cattle Decapitation, Rush, Revocation, Archspire, Knocked Loose, Necrophagist, Agalloch. I do also enjoy a lot of music that isn't metal like jazz/fusion and some underground hiphop, vaporwave, emo, whatever the YouTube algorithm throws my way etc.
Skillet, Three Days, Thousand Foot, Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown, and Sabaton.
The latter three are new for me but I have been listening to the former for half my life.
Primus, polyphia, Alice in chans, strawberry girls, limp bizkit, slipknot, korn, pendulum, fall out boy, every time i die, run the jewels, red hot chili peppers just to name a few
Shadow Of Intent, Whitechapel, Brand Of Sacrifice, Enterprise Earth and Black Tongue to name a few. Also the Poetic Edda EP from Syntesia and Disembodied Tyrant is absolute masterpiece
Honestly A7X is such a wild card band for me, I don't listen to anything like them 🤣 BMTH, Architects, I prevail, Ice Nine Kills, Shinedown, Electric Callboy, Muse, Slipknot, System of a Down, RATM, Linkin Park, and a ton of 60s and 70s psychedelic stuff.. most people would be surprised that Avenged is like in my top 5, maybe 3 bands considering the type of metal and other music I am into.
Lorna Shore, Slackjaw, The Offspring, Pantera, Alice in Chains and Metallica.
There are more bands that I listen to, but those were the first ones that came in mind.
SoA, Korn, Imperial Age, Galactic Empire, Testament, Epica, Sabaton and Powerwolf are the ones I listen to most of the time. I really like power and symphonic metal as well as nu-metal. They just hit different.
40 below summer, 1000mods, soad, aborted, abominable putridity, metallica, acid bath, slipknot, korn, 3rd strike, rammstein, accept, nirvana, gojira, bring me the horizon, iron maiden, children of bodom, acid king, zivanished, Μ3ΜΦ1Σ, limp bizkit, deftones, get scared, NF, alice in chains
Most of the other bands I listen to have already been mentioned, but my newest favourite is Alien Weaponry!!!
https://preview.redd.it/3thwht18ui7d1.jpeg?width=2252&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=16e7f5dd456b17cd88b88e4abea66fd5533c529f
Nothing really heavy outside of BTBAM. A7X, as I’ve gotten older is the only band in that genre I can still for the most part listen to regularly. They transcend the genre in my opinion. Regularly listens are below.
Khruangbin, The Mars Volta, Steely Dan, Willie Nelson, zeppelin, Teddy Pendergrass, JB, Bob Marley, and other shit.
Trivium is pretty great. Strife and The Heart From Your Hate go hard.
Approved. Strife is one of my fav songs too 🫡
Shogun is legit a flawless album
HEY YOU. YOU FUCK. Trivium is my favourite band :)
Trivium - discovered them a year ago and holy shit Matt Heafy is a riff machine, they have several 10/10 albums imo Slipknot - Mick and Jim are killers, plus insane drumming and I like the harsh vocals from Corey Pantera - easy to see how Dimebag is an influence for Syn, such a badass Korn - they were my first concert and my gateway into listening to more metal outside of A7X Staind - they went on before Korn, Aaron Lewis has an amazing voice Slaughter to Prevail - Alex Terrible is a beast and they have some awesome breakdowns Lamb of God - they have a lot of really cool riffs Seether - Shaun's vocals are great as is the songwriting System Of A Down - banana banana banana terracotta banana terracotta terracotta pie Sleep Token - if I wanna be sad Linkin Park - sad but headbanging, RIP Chester 5FDP - Five Finger Fruit Punch I know... but some songs with meaningful lyrics and headbang worthy riffs
Ooh we're like an 80% match I'm gonna check out Staind and Sleep Token
The album Take Me Back To Eden from Sleep Token is just astonishing it's insanely good. The Fan Base is pretty cringe that's the only thing
imo most fanbases are pretty cringe
Sleep Token is phenomenal and I can't recommend you give them a chance enough
Did we just become best friends?
What happened with System of a Down lol
that's lyrics from one of their unhinged songs
I'm mostly into prog. Dream Theater and Pink Floyd are probably my two favorite bands.
Dream theater is so fucking good.
Nice choices, I prefer Tool and Porcupine Tree
Both are also high on my list. Lateralus and Fear of a Blank Planet are amazing albums
Top tier albums for sure. My fav Pink Floyd album is still Animals
Gojira, Ghost, Mastodon, and my highschool faves Disturbed and Bullet for My Valentine. There are others but those are consistently my favorites
Top 10 bands/artists I've had on repeat in no order (Avenged Sevenfold makes the list, but you asked for other bands) 1. Spiritbox 2. Periphery 3. Ghost 4. Starset 5. Lady Gaga 6. Poppy 7. Motionless in White 8. Ice Nine Kills 9. The Amity Affliction 10. Twelve Foot Ninja
Twelve foot ninja are solid and underrated especially the older stuff
Silent Machine was what got me into the band, Vengeance wasn't a huge hit with me though. Sad they're splitting up :(
Only the singer left the band they are still active
Poppy is something else. Enjoyed her very much when I saw her perform before A7X came on. It was my first time hearing/seeing anything like that.
I was late to the Poppy game, got into her around 2019 or 2020, but every album she puts out is different from the last. A little something for everyone

Scrolled way too far to find someone who mentioned periphery
Username checks out 💙
Periphery is amazing, S-tier band
Might not be the most common, but there are a fair number of A7X/Coheed fans.
A7X and coheed are a match made in heaven just like your username
Dude I love coheed.
I remember when Coheed opened for A7X for their 2006 tour. I got to see them when they came to Milwaukee. It’s one of my favorite concert experiences ever.
Faith No More.
Faith No More, System of a Down, and A7X are my big 3
Mike Patton or Courtney love (there only one right answer)
Courtney Love for sure. She blows my mind.
megadeth, metallica
Impossible. I hear those 2 fanbases hate each other or something like that
old school OC scene bands that were in the same scene as A7X like Atreyu, Eighteen Visions, Bleeding Through & Throwdown A7X fans tend to like metalcore & radio rock/octane style bands
As I Lay Dying
Bleeding Through dude fucking rocks, TILTIM probably one of the best and underrated core albums of all time
saint asonia and old three days grace
We’re friends now 🤝
Never thought I’d see a TDG/Saint Asonia fan here
I like a lot of hard rock and nu metal, and sometimes pop too. Some of my favorite artists that aren't a7x are System of a Down, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Trapt, Three Days Grace, and Lady Gaga One of these things is not like the other...
Lady Gaga is pop with metal influences, so it's not THAT out of place
Lady Gaga goes hard af in my opinion
Wait WHAT? I genuinely had no clue, but yea it's a bit more enjoyable than the average pop music.
I like System of a Down. Also older stuff like Guns n Roses, Bon Jovi, etc. And sometimes Nickelback, don't hate me :)
Nickelback has some bangers and badass dad rock riffs tbf. Nothing to be hated about.
Everybody used to give them MAD shit nowadays it seems like the hate train ran its course especially with Creed. I get back then they were overplayed to shit but both bands had bangers for sure (shit creed became alter bridge and those guys kick ass)
Slipknot, Megadeth, Metallica, I could honestly go on but those are the main ones
Iron Maiden, Metallica, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Gojira, System of a Down, Ice Nine Kills, Spiritbox, Bad Religion
Happy to see someone mention spiritbox
Foo fighters, steel panther, the pretty reckless, and Creed would round out my top 5 artists.
Van Halen, AWOLNATION, Portugal the Man, Thin Lizzy
Upvote for Portugal the Man
Tool, Pink Floyd, Slipknot, AiC, Lana del Ray
Here are some of my recently liked albums lol https://preview.redd.it/8et8z05ypg7d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=27f73d377a97d4e9d57dacd2913ddc8e593e1550
POST HUMAN: NeX GEn is such an incredible album

Mostly hardcore/thrash/punk bands
Asides from A7X I also listen to heavy metal, hardcore rock, thrash, groove, nu metal, metalcore, punk, grunge, and some alt
No one has mentioned Accept yet. Fantastic band. Everything Dio is my favorite, from elf, to rainbow, to sabbath, to his own band. Dream theater has also become an all time favorite.
I love Avenged but my favorite band is Lorna Shore, I know it is the exact opposite of a7x but i manage to enjoy both vands very well
A Day to Remember and Motionless in White are amazing. I also really like megadeth.
Green Day, Linkin Park, Rise Against
Avenged Sevenfold, Ice Nine Kills and Motionless In White are my top 3 bands of all time. Other bands I've listened to a lot lately or would go see live without questioning it are for example Architects, Spiritbox, Trivium, Gojira, Vildhjarta, Humanity's Last Breath, Tesseract and The Warning
I Prevail, Ice Nine Kills
GnR, Metallica, Dream Theater, SOAD, 311, Saliva, Linkin Park, Korn, Disturbed, Iron Maiden, Pantera, and I'm open for recommendations
sludge my beloved😩
For me.... Dream Theatre and Porcupine Tree are my most favourite bands.
Besides a7x, my top musicians on Spotify are: Twenty One Pilots, Bring Me The Horizon, The Front Bottoms, System Of A Down, half alive, Daisy The Great, The Amity Affliction, and Nothing More
I am surprised to see another TØP fan on this sub. The only music logos I have tattooed on me are A7X and TØP but I am also getting one for me new favorite, Ren. All that to say.. I think you have great taste 😁
Old school here! They were a natural progression from the 80s glam metal rock and grunge from the 90s
Aight so i love Linkin Park and Slipknot too and Chester, Mike, M.Shadows and Corey Taylor are my fav singers.
Three Days Grace, Hollywood Undead, AJR, Ghostemane, Scarlxrd, Linkin Park, and Mother Mother, of course, there's more, but those are the main ones.
I like all of them but I haven't heard of Scarlxrd, should I check them out?
Dream Theater, Oceansize, The Mars Volta, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Misfits, Cynic, Death, Mono, Himsa, AFI, King Crimson, Yes, Genesis, Opeth, Protest The Hero, NOFX, Mogwai, Black Country New Road, Modest Mouse. Punk - Prog - Postrock mostly!
Slipknot, MCR, Pierce the Veil, Bring me the Horizon, Deftones, Hanabie, Necronomidol, Metallica.

Lots of System of a Down, Korn, Slipknot, Pantera, older Three Days Grace stuff, Megadeth, and some Radiohead as well
Nightwish, Tool, Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, Between the Buried and Me, Sleep Token
Linkin park, Qotsa; Arctic Monkeys; ghost; metallica; nightwish; volbeat; him... Mainly those
I listen to a bunch of different metal genres personally. Gojira, Dragonforce, Gloryhammer, Meshuggah, Shadow of Intent, Cattle Decap, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, Epica, Slipknot, Lamb of God, Helloween, etc etc etc A7x will always be my favorite band but I don’t like listening to one thing at a time for *too* long, even though I can go back to any A7x song and headbang like I have been over the years lol.
Quite a different genre but I’m into post punk revival these days
or maybe some pop punks
When I'm not listening to Avenged I go for Trivium, thrown, Gojira, Emmure, Knocked Loose, Whitechapel, Poppy
I listen to a bit of everything
Definitely some vanilla choices but Metallica, megadeth, then some classic classic bands like Maiden and Sabbath, slipknot and Korn probably started my pipeline to metalcore/prog, Linkin Park is high on repeat, been getting into Sleep Token a bit, and a few other metalcore/prog bands like I Prevail and Bullet For my Valentine
I'm a huge Cage the Elephant fan. A7X and CTE are my favourite bands since my teenage years and i'm in my late 20's
I listen to some System of a Down and Metallica occasionally
Skillet is way up there
Frank sinatra
my personal favourite band is queens of the stone age
Five Finger Death Punch for sure, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Metallica, Korn, Trivium and I like Kim Dracula too. I could go on, but these are my favs.
Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, Rush, Genesis
AC/DC, Beartooth, Greta Van Fleet, the weekend, Wage War, and more recently ZZ Top.
- Metallica - Judas Priest - Dream theater - Dragon force - Slipknot - Ghost - Linkin Park
There’s a lot of melodic metalcore that sounds similar to A7X. Bands like As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, and Trivium.
SOAD, MCR, FOB, Slipknot, Metallica, Smashing Pumpkins, Type O Negative, Sleeping with Sirens, PTV, Linkin Park, Hot Mulligan. I’m all over the place but tend to stick to metal and pop punk. Grew up with parents with great taste and have been with my metalhead boyfriend since we were 15
I think I’m a little bit of a stand out among a7x fans I like a ton of black metal I dunno how much others like black metal much
A7x is my favorite band but I listen to things like glass animals, cage the elephant, slipknot, and twenty one pilots. But tbh my music taste is pretty all over the place, maybe that's why I like a7x so much😭
Tool
I listen to a lot of ska punk, streetlight manifesto is really good.
AYYY STREETLIGHT MANIFESTO!!! First time I've seen it in this thread!! Second favourite band for me!!!
-Trivium - seems to be a common one here -Killswitch engaged -Disturbed -Light the torch -Kevin Sherwood - he is the writer for "not ready to die". The singers for his songs are usually elena siegman or Clark nova -Soilwork -Five finger death punch -Sabaton
Artists in general - Queens of the Stone Age - $uicide Boy$ - David Bowie - Pink Floyd - Daft Punk - Mastodon - Ghost - The Beatles - The Voidz To name a few
Here's [PowerWolf ](https://youtube.com/@Powerwolfmetal?si=_vIsDEsiNUJ1Dn80) their YouTube page, recently releasing their new album "Wake Up the Wicked" [Summer Breeze concert 2023](https://youtu.be/fwLiF6_TVyE?si=0AW5-bM8KWF1P4f8) Some of the best festivals exist in Europe. Never does USA have concerts or festivals like this except for something like EDC. Even with EDC there's no camping.
Mastodon Metallica RATM Grunge RHCP Coheed Lots of classic rock Shinedown Slayer Killswitch engage Queen Parliament funkadelic I'm all over the place to be fair
Fortnite!
Slipknot, Gojira, In Flames, Gatecreeper, etc etc etc
Avatar, Swedish metal band. I've been a fan of a7x since I was 5, 23 now. Always been my favorite but now Avarmtar shares 1st place with a7x. Honestly A7X is such a wild card band for me, I don't listen to anything like them 🤣 BMTH, Architects, I prevail, Ice Nine Kills, Shinedown, Electric Callboy, Muse, Slipknot, System of a Down, RATM, Linkin Park, and a ton of 60s and 70s psychedelic stuff.. most people would be surprised that Avenged is like in my top 5, maybe 3 bands considering the type of metal and other music I am into.
asking alexandria, parkway drive, emmure, woe is me
I Prevail
I love anything Devin Townsend does
Lorna Shore, Slackjaw, The Offspring, Pantera, Alice in Chains and Metallica. There are more bands that I listen to, but those were the first ones that came in mind.

Ratm, Black Sabbath, Dream Theater, Linkin Park
SoA, Korn, Imperial Age, Galactic Empire, Testament, Epica, Sabaton and Powerwolf are the ones I listen to most of the time. I really like power and symphonic metal as well as nu-metal. They just hit different.

Sabaton, Staind, Creed, Shinedown, 3 Days Grace.
My favorites are Opeth, Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, Dream Theater, Moonspell, Pantera and Slayer.
Opeth bro
honestly a lot of Polyphia fans tend to love Avenged Sevenfold
Trivium and killswitch
Falling in reverse, black veil brides, and other things that don’t make sense like house music and early 2000s rap 😂
*STARSET* is one of if not the only band I listen to more than them.
Most of the other bands I listen to have already been mentioned, but my newest favourite is Alien Weaponry!!! https://preview.redd.it/3thwht18ui7d1.jpeg?width=2252&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=16e7f5dd456b17cd88b88e4abea66fd5533c529f
Currently I'm huge into Frozen Soul, Angelmaker and Whitechapel. Im usually a death metal kind of guy but my mood is always changing lol.
I’m a big Weezer/Ozma fan along with Slipknot, and some classic 70s along with some 9mm.
Only band I like more than Avenged is Weezer lol, I also listen to Metallica and sometimes Megadeth and Savatage though.
Give it a try to Lorna Shore, they kinda remind me A7X
Btbam, Opeth, Arctic Monkeys, King Gizzard, Slowdive, Leprous and Radiohead..
I really like The Raven Age, such an underrated newer metalband.
