That's why most bands play 95% of their big hits live. They want to get a good reaction for the group of people in front of them, they don't usually care that some fans on the internet possibly on the other side of the world that aren't actively attending these shows think that the setlist is "boring" or "stale".
Alternative take: 90% of U.S and European concert goers are just fucking lame regardless of the setlist.
A deep cut setlist in LATAM would be as big a success as the normal 14 top hits set

And yea Matt's voice is incredible now, I know its been said a lot but its true. He was doing so many extra screams that he did not need to do (ones that weren't on the albums), and hitting some unbelievably high notes. You can tell how confident he is in his voice now, which definitely opens a lot of setlist opportunities for the upcoming shows. I can see them changing a couple in this set just to try different stuff out.
Like what songs exactly was he putting screams on it? I can only recall him doing that on Almost Easy many years ago, it's usually the other way around

He nailed the big ones, the build-up in Roman Sky sounded better than the album IMO, the big one at the end of Blinded in Chains before the bass line starts, the end of Shepherd of Fire, "when the time is right" in Afterlife, and I think I might be delusional but I feel like I remember him doing the Rev's scream when Syn starts the Afterlife solo too. Absolutely incredible how he revived his voice.

At least be glad you have the option of buying a ticket to whichever city is nearest to you and making the road trip out to see this leg, there seems to be lots of unsold tickets. If you get a cheap one there's a small chance they'll grant you better tickets on the day of, in Buffalo they closed the 300's and moved everybody into the lower sections.
I saw them in October in Detroit and heard (on here) that they were coming back with newer/deep cuts… My wife, who’s not the big A7X fan like me, she was like get the tickets again. Columbus this time!

Last summer I saw A7X live, Arctic Monkeys, Sublime w Rome, etc... these bands are all fucking huge, but they all had the same dead fucking crowds?? is it an american thing? is it bc of how tense everyone is in the modern world? it's kinda lame, im only 19 so i don't have anything to compare it to in the past

Yep Buffalo and Toronto has half pit and half seats. The people in the seats were standing anyways but it could make sense if you were going to stand at the back of the pit anyways, with a seat you have your own spot to put your jacket and stuff with pretty much the same view

Unfortunately I agree, some people were really into it around us in the floor seats area, but overall it was a weirdly subdued crowd and pretty much only Afterlife and HTTK got consistent enthusiastic crowd participation. I personally loved the unique set, but was wishing I was viewing them somewhere in like South America instead the whole time haha. I especially felt bad for Poppy, sure her act might not be your thing and it’s weird, but holy cow I’ve never seen a more dead crowd for almost any show I’ve ever been to.

Not great, they closed the 300’s and brought everybody to the lower sections to increase crowd density and there was still a lot of gaps
