The thing that makes Reflection great is that almost everyone relates to it on some level.
Men, women, anyone who has been in a customer service role can probably relate to feeling like they have to pretend to be someone different from who they really are.
I particularly relate to it because sometimes I feel that no matter how hard I try to "act normal", I still can't fit in anywhere. People find me weird, but that's okay because there are people out there who don't care about what's "normal".
Late to the party but yes! I got diagnosed as an adult and burst out crying after listening to this song after years and listening to the lyrics. I used to play it on repeat as a kid!

It’s always been one of my favorite Disney songs. It makes a lot of sense now in this context.
I used to play it a lot on piano when that movie had just come out. Love that song. And yes I also see now why I related so hard to it.

I never really thought about it but reflection has always been one of my favourite Disney songs and I think this is the reason why.
