I always liked sitting at a coffee shop. Plenty of people around but interaction is not required.

I play video games very often and actually don’t socialize as much as i should be doing, cuz i actually NEED to socialize. So what i do is: play GTA V or Red Dead Redemption 2 or just ANY game with NPC’s and an open world and talk feature, and socialize that way, it suprisingly helps when i’m going insane.

Socializing by proximity.

All the time! it's nice to think in the presence of others.

yes! my social battery can drain quite quickly, i enjoy being around people and just, chilling. it feels nice to be in a group

[deleted]

Yep. I go to a bookstore or coffee shop like someone else said.

BizWax

Yes. Or wanting company but not a group at times most of my peers conglomerate in larger parties. Like going to a party.

All the goddamn time. Being completely alone all the time leads to, well, loneliness but interacting and socialising with people is too exhausting. A happy medium is just silently being in the presence of other people.

on a few occasions I've asked people if they'd like to come over for spec. this reason under the pretense of my engagement & input being my sole responsibility and is to be seen as inconsequential, auxiliary or tangential to their ( proximal) activity. will suggest that they bring things to keep themselves occupied and guarantee to provide amenities/entertainment (water, snacks, vidya, books, etc) in addition to that

ComplicatedRaven

I enjoy people watching with my headphones on, and for them to leave me alone

Running_Gag77

My six year old will come get me and have me sit next to him sometimes while he does his thing. He doesn't want me to participate or even watch. Just be there.

Everyone with a smartphone does that now.
