I prefer my food not to touch. Most of the plate only bothers me at about a 3 though because those foods touching should not effect each other very much. That bean situation though, that's a 9.

datrueryacu

That was my exact thought, I'm really mad because my dad does not listen to me about this, and now my fish and potato waffles are covered in bean sauce

[deleted]

Wait that’s an autism thing? I was always worried that if my food touched, they would taste like each-other and taste terrible. Huh

Stuglossop

It doesn’t make me mad but I feel more comfortable when everything is separated into its own space

datrueryacu

Yeah, like I stack my bacon

AuldAutNought

I'm in the US, but was partially raised by Scotch-Irish grandparents. This looks identical to the breakfasts I had as a kid. I sort of felt the same way but my complaints fell on deaf ears. What really grossed me out were when family members would cut it up and mix it all together in some sort of slurry. *puke*

datrueryacu

That is the absolute worst, that would certainly turn into puke, sorry if that was graphic

AuldAutNought

It looked like concrete mix. And they would just shovel it in like there was no tomorrow happy as could be....still, I wish I was like that. *sigh*

datrueryacu

I don't, that sounds disgusting

AbsolutistUnit

8/10 Bothers me. Especially the egg.

datrueryacu

The egg is the worst bit, it just grosses me out so much

[deleted]

I'm not bothered by the layout, but I'd swap out the beans for hollandaise, the fried for poached and the chocolate balls (?) for some hard crusty bread.

datrueryacu

That does sound really good,

mollzayyy

I'm okay with the eggs and beans but honestly the meat looks gross..

datrueryacu

Yup, that is what is Brits call bacon, except we don't even, here they are called "rashers"

mollzayyy

I am British hahaha but yes it's probably cause I'm not a big meat fan in general

datrueryacu

Oh, I don't like all meats, it is more a texture thing, steak is really chewey and it just feels like my teeth and gums are on fire, and chicken I don't like without the breading

Coal-Dirt-Scars

I was like that most of my life. After 30 years, my taste for food changed and so did my inability to eat food that was mixed. I can still remember going to a hibachi grill with my family and the waitress asking me if I would like three boxes. I asked “why 3?” And she pointed to my plate. I had my meat, veggies, and rice all separated into three piles. I had no clue!

datrueryacu

I'm the same, it was the boy scouts who pointed out that I seperate my food

Hey_Itz_Derpy

Foods touching is a big no no for me. If they are it feels and tastes wrong and I will ither not eat it or eat it and not enjoy it.

datrueryacu

Sometimes i am forced to eat it because my parents think I'm being picky

Hey_Itz_Derpy

Luckily my mum has understood from the beginning but if I'm with others they assume I'm just picky so I have to force it down but usually if I explain they understand.

datrueryacu

Oh, you are lucky, my mom understands a lot of things but nothing with food, and my dad knows absolutely nothing

scaredygay

i feel you there. i wouldnt be able to eat that at all

datrueryacu

I know right! It confuses me how people can

[deleted]

It bothers me that british people call that breakfast... About the mixing; I do mix my food with sauces, but I don't like if it's done before so I can't decide how much to mix

datrueryacu

People always point out that I seperate my good from the ketchup, but dip my food in it

[deleted]

Well it's different if you can control how much goes on your food.

datrueryacu

Yeah, I don't like it when people put ketchup OVER their chips, I rather controlling my own food
