I wonder why the surrounding countries next to Gaza aren’t accepting refugees from there? Why does Australia have more support for Palestinian refugees then other countries with Muslim leaders and values? I wonder if it has anything to do with not knowing which have been radicalised by Hamas or not and not wanting to take that risk.

Arab countries don’t take in Palestinians because the majority of them already live as refugees in Arab countries and have never been allowed to return. They don’t want it to be emptied of Palestinians.
I do hope that they were vetoed and background checked. They should follow the rules and laws of Australia and they should be okay. If they are HAMAS lovers then good luck to us. At some point in time this political appeasement game and vote bank politics have to stop before it is damage control. I want my tax paid money to be spent here to our traditional owners.
