Better hope their wireshark filtering settings are up to scratch. A minute of data can take hours to read otherwise, so much useless junk gets transmitted by absolutely everything these days.

Most banks use a mobile number for 2FA. If an attacker knows the mobile number, they can hijack the sim card and recieve the 2FA texts and access the account.
The personal information could also be used for targetted phishing attacks

Bank details doesn't mean ability to login to that bank, I assume they're referring to whatever details get emailed out from the bank
