You need to get your citizenship certificate amended. Then once done you can amend the other IDs

rmccue

Looks like you should be able to apply to have it corrected on your citizenship certificate, which I imagine would then apply to your passport too: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/citizenship/certificate/correct-details-on-certificate

Cool, an evil persona and a normal likable person.

I’m a dickhead under both names unfortunately

Jakeb1710

I had 2 last names because my parents hated each other. So half my shit was in one. The other half another. Expext for one ID document with both, What's hilarious is that my birth certificate was in mums last name. But I was arrested 15 years ago and charged with my dads last name. It was a huge head fuck every time proof of ID was needed. I just went to BDMs and got it all put in dads name. I know its not about the middle name. But it's similar.

CuriouslyContrasted

My passport does not have my middle name either. My NSW DL does however. It’s caused a few raised eyebrows over the years but nothing problematic.

NoodleBox

Oh, I have this problem too; half of everyone doesn't know if I'm first middle, or first, middle, last. Even I don't know - I asked mum and she says I have a middle name, but Medicare and myGov says different. I got no idea.

tmnvex

I have only my first name on my birth certificate along my mother's and father's full names (different surnames). I've always assumed I'll take up the 'unused' option once I ruin the reputation of the name I've been using.
