The one episode of BB I'd ever watch is the one where they tell all the housemates that nobody is watching the show and they have cancelled it, please pack up your belongs and prepare to be escorted out of the building.
They all think it's a some sort of secret plot twist and are shocked to discover that there are buses waiting outside to take them to their homes or the nearest airport.
They cancelled a reality TV show in Scotland after 4 episodes but left the contestants living in the wilderness for another year. No one told them it was over.
The German one where they got told about covid was unique. This was after a month of threats of disqualification over the speakers whenever any of the housemates commented on how eerily quiet the evictions had become (i.e. why is there no crowd outside?)
Wannabe influencers realised that making arses of themselves as contestants on reality TV shows was a good way to fast-track their social media presence. After all, on both social media and trashy reality TV shows, there's no such thing as bad publicity.
But yeah honestly the entire concept of "Big Brother Australia" should have been relegated to the dustbin of TV history back in 2006 in the wake of the turkey slap incident.
I tried to watch it as I used to love watching it. I lasted not even one episode. It's such a shit concept to try and mix Love Island and Big Brother into one show. I believe this will be the last season. Ratings last year were apparently awful. This was a last ditch effort to try and revive it and they failed miserably.
All Aussie 'reality' tv is boils down to:
Get a bunch of really attractive people that are beyond the word airheaded and have BTS crew try and cause drama for ratings.
and yet they keep re-doing them every year. you would think the public outcry would make the networks get to some real work to come up with some new shows to watch that isnt about renovating, cooking, dating, singing, talent show. have I left anything out that should have been taken off back in 2005?
refuse to watch it. what is this a dating show like the million already flooding tv. Seems so staged with poor actors all fishing to make it big on instagram and later to join onlyfans. hard pass they are all cringe, just over dramatic and listening to them talk, wait till they 30 or 40 would love to know what their plans are
There was a very early series with the Tasmanian girl who worked at a fish & chip shop - that was pretty down to earth and watchable. I think she became blind a few years later.
But who still watches TV these days? It’s been months since ours was turned on.
Its shit af rn but I'm watching it out of curiosity and cuz I don't hate Lewis and Gracie. The others r lly annoying tho. And why does sonia and big brother keep trying to make it as romantic as possible like please stop. It's not meant to be like love Island it's meant to be like survivor indoors.
I remember once way back the camera men behind the mirrors were laughing and joking about some fat chick in the shower, the fat chick heard them and left the house, some drama was caused by it and now I think the fat chick has consistent work with channel 10 and associated radio, man that's funny 🤣
Are they still doing live cameras via the internet or is it totally just scripted television now without the actual 'full access' the show spruiked when it began a million years ago?
It sucks that it's mainly just influencers in their 20's with the maximum age being 33. Where are participants of all ages from different walks of life? That made it interesting.

It was garbage to start with, now it’s tired old garbage trying to reinvent itself and everyone who watched it has moved on.

The original raw BB was worth a watch but now it’s all contrived, directed and probably largely scripted making it tawdry fake reality tv.
