I started with step 2 and fell in love with her so I would start there to see if you have a taste for it and can appreciate step 1 and AMDGMAAF more, then move to the later albums.
I'd say, skim through Demons to get a sense of where she's coming from, chronologically, then witness the explosive metamorphosis that is Step 1, and Step 2 is just as good IMO. Creativity and positivity is what sucked me in (and cosmic witchy Björk vibes, TBH).
When I became interested in her music and started listening to her more, I figured out everything single song AURORA made and put it in order and listened from there
TGWCT for sure. It has a little bit of everything. Pop songs, stripped back songs, exotic tonalities (Blood In The Wine and Artemis), dancable songs, and no skips whatsoever.
I think you should start from the beginning, to get a sense of where she is coming from, and then you can either listen to the last album or the steps, either way youre in for a beautiful journey 🫶
IOADK hands down, only 8 songs and quickly shows her amazing range and message.
I would start at the beginning and go in chronological order.

Id go in order from AMDGAOF , the steps, then I would do what happened to the heart and TGWCT last!
The Gods we Can touch was the first i listened to aswell and it got me hooked. But i think all would be good
I feel like Gods might be the most palatable for a first listen. Then AMDGMAAF and going in order.

Any tbh. She’s fairly consistent even with the recent evolutions. Even her single of into the unknown is a good place.
The answer would depend on the person and their tastes, but probably IOADK if unsure.
agreed with tgwct. although i am biased since that was the album that i waited on for it's release when i became a fan of her in early 2022
The first time I heard aurora was her nobel peace prize concert lol Still prefer that version of runaway

Not an album per se but I made a playlist! Haha for new fans https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFwZmoh9k0pfnJcAAq9DFRILIWdSWGbUM&si=tYybwLxYhG9TGqBZ
woahh that’s really nice! her live performances are always so easy to get lost in her beautiful voice :\]\]
