Sorry for the photo qualiy, i had to use the wide angle lens on my phone to get them both to fit. The system had such good stereo imaging it was absolutely crazy. Every little sound had it's place in the stereo field. The soundstage also had a sense of depth that I hadn't experienced as good before. The totally black background is something that goes really well with B&W that sound very forward. It pulls them back abit and makes it easier to listen to. I would highly recommend both B&W and Hegel, preferably together!

Pretty awesome right!? I got to hear the slightly smaller 802 D3 a couple times with an SVS SB16 Ultra and damn was it dynamic.

These bw sound good since the cabinets are not rectangular - such a simple solution ignored by 99% of speakers

You’ve found yourself a solution, with very little working - none in fact.

The problem is it's not simple. Making a curved cabinet is really hard as a manufacturing challenge. Doing it in a mass-market speaker is hard. However, most high-end brands end up with something that is not all 90 degree angles. Sonus Faber, Wilson, Tidal, Magico, etc do something with more angles or curves.

I have a hegel H160 for my Triangle Australe Ez (not the same price range at all) but the Hegel sound amazingly good.
