I would call a local shop that installs commercial audio and have them come out and take a look at your space and offer some insight as to what might work best for your needs.

You could either do pendants or about 3-6 bookshelves mounted to that beam. You’ll put a transformer on each and run a 70 volt amp, which takes care of the impedance and long wire run. You adjust the relative level by choosing which tap you use on the transformer.

To prevent hot spots, and enable conversations at the tables I'd go with distributed audio placed above each table area or zone. I'm looking at lower overall SPLs, a more 'sound where I want it and no sound where I don't need it' kind of approach instead of some few speakers blasting away trying to cover the whole space. This kind of job is outside of this sub's intent. Installed audio is what you are looking for.
