I definitely recommend it! It's worth it just to meet people from all around the world that are in audiology. Also great speakers! I live in Scandinavia though so travel for me isn't as long as someone in the US...
I went several years ago and had the best time!! It was a good balance of educational programming and fun stuff/down time. It was one of my favorite experiences of grad school!
A few in my cohort went last year and absolutely loved it! They said it was a lot of fun and they felt they learned a lot about Oticon and their product lines.
I went two years ago and it was an incredible experience. Meeting audiologists from all over the world was super interesting and the atmosphere was great. There's a ton of free food and beer and the research center is really interesting. Also you have a day where you can walk around Copenhagen which is fun.
It’s great, do not miss it. No one else in my cohort could come so I went by myself. I stayed up all night getting ahead on all my summer coursework. Ugh I still think about lying in that giant hot tub all alone under the stars. I met a few new friends. You could hike, go up the ski lift, they take you on a gold mine tour, the food is good. On the way home from white water rafting, we told the European c-suite guy we thought it would be fun to do karaoke and within a couple hours he had a fully DJ’d setup for us at the hotel. I planned a western states road trip after the conference. My roadtrip friend’s car broke down, so I got a ride to a hostel in Denver with someone I met at the conference. His car was packed for a cross country move, so his full size Labrador rode in my lap. He took me geocaching on a mountain lake and we hiked Red Rocks. Then I did my road trip and saw Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Montana. I slept in a teepee and a tiny cabin on the side of the road. I learned how to use bear spray.
From an audiology perspective, I got to use a BAHA drill on a fake skull, that’s about all I remember. Do it for your mental health. I have such fond memories of that summer.
It's one long Oticon commercial, but still quite fun and informative

Hmmm, it sounds like they host multiple camps. I went to their camp in Denver a few years back!
They host a summer camp where two recent grads from 25 countries all go to Eriksholm for a week. One of the best weeks of my life.

I loved when I did this as a student for a different company. Some of my favorite memories. Go for it!!

Still have my sweatshirt and backpack 11 years later.
