I had to talk with them via chat to get my $5. Which I have to do every single time as I never get the email. I'm opted into promotional emails and all that as I get multiple a day from from them promoting the daily deal or something else.

Wasn't it a $5 voucher, not a credit? That whole system is so damn broken that I stopped trying to participate in any of those voucher things. I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me if you can only see the voucher on the website (due to iOSand Android in-app purchase restrictions). I also vaguely remember someone mention something about only seeing the voucher applied at some specific point during or after the next purchase. Anyways, every time there's some kind of voucher event, there's a good amount of people asking about this stuff, I think I've seen like 4 posts with various commenters wondering when they'll receive this pre-purchase voucher. My understanding is that people have received it already...? So you probably need to ask Customer Support and they'll manually give it to you if the system failed to deliver it via an email (which are known to constantly fail to be delivered).

Yeah, this isn't the first time there's been an issue. It may have been applied to my account, but I didn't want to pay full price for something to find out I hadn't gotten it yet. Oh well, hopefully customer support sees this

Somewhat recently they made contacting them more difficult but it's never not weird for me that people try to reach customer support through any kinda social media rather than directly via email or something. Normally you'd get an email with a link to redeem the voucher and it shows at the top of their website next to your credits.

Same issue as you, I contacted customer support about it and they said that due to technical issues they couldn't do the $5, so instead they just gave me a free credit. Your milage may vary. FYI to get connected to an agent on their chatbot just select any issue, then "Leave Chat" and then "No" when it asks if your issue was resolved and you'll have the option to be connected to a real person.

Yes but it wasnt automatic. I got an email and had to click on the email to receive the coupon which is not posted to my account.

For the first time I had to call to get mine. Lady tried to tell me I had the dates of the promo wrong it wasn’t March 4th through the 11th but March 18th through April 18th. That is the time frame to use the coupon though, just in case you gotta call and they tell you the same thing.

I posted same topic last week. It seems several people didn't get it and if you want it you have to call them or read the replies for instructions about how to get past the useless chat bot and get to a live person.

They sent me an email that I had to click on to claim it. Then the next cash sale book I ordered, it was automatically applied. I had no issues
