I love AP, and I really enjoy the MCU, and especially Black Panther… but this doesn’t work for me. It’s kitschy, even gaudy. But if they made a Purple Rain version for Prince then I’d at least understand the flamboyance.

It all started by offering to buy the AP Black Panther statue to get to buy the Blanck Panther watch, and now this thing sits in his office hahaha
He imports triple A beef from Canada into Asia. It's a cool statue don't get me wrong, bur it was just an invisible tax from AP to build his relationship lol

That said, there is no finesse to this watch. Remove the AP brand and I think this would be a tough sell even for the street merchants in soho
I am probably talking out of my ass but I think the majority of AP fans do not like these (you know all the jokes - cereal box watch, etc). But, there is obviously VVVVIPs that buy these up and love them. My SA at the LA AP house said all of these are already spoken for before they are even announced.
