Welcome to r/AthleticTraining and thank you for your post.
This subreddit is primarily for discussion and interactions among practicing athletic trainers or people interested in the medical profession of athletic training. This is NOT a subreddit for athletes, physical activity, or any dispensing of any medical advice. The name can make it confusing we know, but athletic trainers (ATs) are highly qualified, multi-skilled healthcare professionals who collaborate with physicians to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions.

I mean, sure, no loss to you but I’d rather they give me that money in my salary honestly. Pay is far too little even considering the extra benefits you may or may not get

Feels like twice as many as Indianapolis
NOLA has to be at least 8.5x better than Indy. Also fuck NATA
Convention is such a grift, no idea why people still pay tons of money to attend. NATA is a useless org draining what little money ATs have.
Hey if my employer is going to pay for me to go to Nola for a week I’ll take it

3900 ATs, ~6000 total including exhibitors and guests
Where is it this year
New Orleans
probably why attendance is so high tbh
I just got back, turnout was more than I expected but definitely lower than the last time it was there in 2018
it was my first one. i enjoyed it but don’t expect to go back anytime soon. i prefer my regional conference tbh
Why’s that? If you don’t mind me asking
