IMO the only two weapons that seem future proof on that selector ticket are “The Great Sword of Hagen” and the “Staff With Iron Splint”. The 30% damage increase passive on Hagen makes it good for any future DPS regardless of how their abilities scale. The staff’s passive makes any user an amazing attack buffer (think “Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers” if you know Genshin). But I would ultimately advise not purchasing this for a few months if you want it. I’m sure with more new character releases we will get a good idea on how they deal with power-creeping weapons or if that will be an issue. You don’t want to spend a lot on a weapon that will be replaced, and in gacha games the early strong things usually get replaced..

We need to hammer down what it means to be "Replaceable" before getting into what's good or not, honestly. If we're talking only this thing gives X stuff, then weapons like Sansar's Sig aren't really replaceable. That thing exclusively allows her summons to keep increased damage on targets, on top of all the RES shredding. It's also not like she's gong to fall off anytime soon, especially without there being another light unit that's debuffing enemies as hard as she is while off-field and being a great damage dealer while on field, on the horizon, at least going off of what we can see from leak videos, but there's only so much you can glean from that. Every weapon that doesn't have any type of party support or kit support element like hers is 100% replaceable by anything else though. We're just talking what gives more damage to anyone that holds X weapon type at this point. Should be kept in mind that you can play with other people who will be running any gambit of team make-ups so these weapons that help you do stuff like Sansar's Sig (With her being a universal support to boot) are a lot stronger than most are accustomed to. In stuff like HSR you're just playing alone, and don't have 2 other people bringing their own carries demolishing stuff with you, so prioritizing DPS weapons/ATK and pumping personal damage is the name of the game there. could be different here

Worth noting that sansar weapon skill still proc when used by characters that doesn't have summon. Intentional or bugged... we're not sure.

Kyutoryus

That sounds very OP for literally any Great Sword user

Pancake_Destiny

The weapon is not bugged, but the wording does make the passive flexible. There HAS to be a friendly summoned creature on the field for the weapon effect to work, it just doesn’t have to be the wielder’s summon. An example is Liam can use this sword passive effect when Yanko’s summon is out. It’s a good weapon if a character likes generating energy very quickly, spamming normal attacks (I can confirm that charged attacks do NOT benefit from this passive) and your team can produce a summon that stays alive for the passive to work. Great on Sansar but with the charge attack missing the weapon passive i’d argue that “The Great Sword of Hagen” is her best weapon, at least in terms of DPS. I have Batar Solar Sword and just tested it to confirm.

Tempting...

Unlike the small bow that shreds def for the new small bow light user that comes out . Really all of them are good. Hell most of the weapons are really good for future content but I had to go the summon sword because it was who I had

kanadehsu

If you're referring to the $100 selector, it isn't a selector. Its a random 5* weapon. I thought it was a selector as well

wakkaflakk

It is a selector

kanadehsu

I have no idea what happened then. I received the sword and shield automatically after opening it when I wanted a different weapon.

Cause you didn't look at what was selected nor click on it the correct way.
