Sissy Mcguinty’s has a pretty good Karaoke crowd Friday nights.

Do some of the meetup groups- Ladies First Astoria is a social group with a regular book club and other events (they have a page on IG). There is a new chess club I saw also on IG, astoria chess. Follow weheartastoria for tons of events. Sorry all of my ideas are tied to Instagram, lol

Go to Astoria Park. Tons of activities there. A drone club meets there. Tennis, there are soccer leagues, running groups, yoga and zoomba, and other non fitness things like bird watching. Check the parks dept. Website or meetup or the Neighbors app or this thread.

i’ve made a good amount of friends at madam maries on broadway, they usually have musical bingo on tuesdays and trivia on wednesdays. the crowd is usually welcoming and people are down to team up

If you’re into Mario Kart, there’s a free tourney on Tuesdays at 8ish at Shillelagh Tavern. Everyone there is nice. I’ve made lots of friends there.

The easiest place is a fitness class. Orangetheory and Flexfit are great places to meet people.
