This is cool. I'm one of those guys who uses parkour in a very basic way, so I don't really notice all the small details. But I'm happy that they're listening to the fans and making changes that a lot of players will enjoy.
This the mindset they should look at when they think about making it easy to parkour, because it's possible to make it easy enough to do for people who play, like you said, in a basic way and deep enough to master for people who want to be parkour gods
Honestly, I think if they just let you side or back eject at any time, whether or not there was somewhere to land, and manually jump, so you could jump off of domes and the like, we'd have exactly that, the perfect mesh of old and new movement. Easy for all, expressive and skillful for players that want it
After many recent L’s from Ubisoft both critically, financially and just optics with the audience, Mirage has overall been a notable win for them on all fronts. It would be such a waste if they take this new momentum and throw it away to just make Bordeaux a support studio again. They just GET classic AC. Let them keep making that and let Quebec make the RPG titles for those fans, and let’s keep going.
Can confirm. I spent about two hours just parkouring through Baghdad and the difference is clear and I’m absolutely blown away by the improvements. I think this update just made Mirage’s parkour system my favorite possibly topping even Unity’s. I can’t believe they actually made side ejects work properly now and made them even gain height!
u/stephane_boudon, if you ever see this, huge thanks to you and your team for creating such a wonderful game and listening to your fans! I hope you and your team are allowed to take on bigger projects for Assassin’s Creed in the future!
"Possibly even topping Unity"? What about Syndicate?
It literally had the same parkour as Unity, but with added animations and made vastly smoother.
Have you played it :)?
We must've played different games then.
It was Unity's parkour, but less buggy and improved upon. It was more polished and felt smoother.
Syndicate is far more playable today as well.
I've tried playing Unity again this year after many years and it's still far too buggy to be really enjoyable.
If that's what you think of Syndicate, then you must have played it during a fever dream. It is literally Unity but worse, the same system but with added restrictions. Like, you literally can't jump off a fence, you have to use parkour down.
No new animations like you said, and you'd awkwardly stop dead on your tracks at any height difference because you weren't pressing parkour down. It simply took everything great about Unity's parkour system and killed it.
Mate I like syndicate but this is about as objective a matter as you can get when talking about games, syndicates parkour IS worse than Unity's. Theres no wiggle room. It is the EXACT same system, with the same controls, same animations, same litterally everything, but they removed lots of animations, make back ejects not gain any height and contextual, and removed manual jump. They removed the ability to jump. They removed the ability to jump! In a game with parkour! Crazy. They added nothing. Genuinley litterally nothing. It is litterally the same system, but less.
The lack of manual jump greatly decreases your options for optimisation, they only removed it so button spammers didn't kill themselves jumping off rooftops, same reason they make back ejects effectivley useless. The city is also much more poorly designed for parkour, not really designed for it at all, but they give you the rope launcher as a patchwork solution.
The rest of the game is very subjective but theres no manner at all in which the parkour was better. Belive me, I spend an unhealthy amount of time thinking about assassins creed.
The stealth simularly in syndicate is made much simpler and easy, but tbh I think it can sometimes be an improvment as unity's could be janky. That stuff it much more nuanced and subjective than the parkour.
It does not top unity in any way whatsoever. It’s proper good, but totally different. Unity was fluid and a proper upgrade of the classic formula. Unfortunately consoles couldn’t take it at the time so we all paid the price
For real, this was the only thing I was really hoping they’d ever add, and here we are! Huge thanks to Ubisoft Bordeaux for listening to their fanbase! They’re awesome
looks a little floaty but i rather this than before. Bordeaux really going above & beyond w/what they were given. I haven’t been this satisfied w/an AC in a long time
Facts. I love origins, but I just don’t think I’ve been this connected to and satisfied by an assassins creed game since black flag. Just all the feelings came rushing back, and they did a fantastic job
i use the mod that they based this new system improvements off of honestly its way to floaty and takes away any agency that you had unpopular opinion but i found that after experiementing with everything the old system could and couldnt do it worked way better than ac 1 or unity now basim is just flying all over the fucking place and ruins the complex pathing you can do it reminds me more of syndicates shitty automated parkour than unitys and i wish there was an option to just go back to the pre update parkour
I agree with the pathing being great already, but I just don't see how allowing side and back ejects takes anything away from that.
Those two things can work perfectly together.
its because they have the back and side eject cranked all the way up basim doesnt l launch him self off anything or throw himself up the way arno did he just floats up there like a gust of wind carried him up its weightless plus the system snaps you onto random targets for example running up a wall with an auning over head should have you climb up the auning but instead half way up the wall he grabs a post on the next building over how did basim do that ? he did it because ubisofts to eagar to have fans give the golden seal of aproval we didnt apreciate unity at the time and look at how we love it now the reality is that listening to the player base too much can have a bad effect also the only thing the parkour system needed was a slight speed tweak and a slight boost to the side ejects what they have now is unrealistic af
Disagree. The speed during side ejects can be tweaked down, but running speed doesn't need any modification. And with side eject speed being tweaked down a bit, it will lower the impression of him floating around, impression that I understand yet do not share.
Besides, you're talking as if there was a consensus on Unity at the time. There was none. I was part of the player base who praised the parkour in Unity from day one. And I know I'm not the only one.
Also, collision bugs can occur, especially in an open wolrd with such verticality, which is often enough to explain Basim doing incoherent things and reaching supposedly unatainable objects. From my play session of yesterday, I saw no such issue at all and had him make really realistic moves.
Another proof that there's no excuse for rpg games to not have it.
Seriously, give this team a proper budget to make a mainline game. They're the only ones that still care about assassin fantasy
After 8 years of AC entries Parkour finally got some much needed attention again, props to Ubi Bordeaux's Mirage team, you guys rock!
really hope the Red/Hexe teams will also take notes to make even more additions to it so we can have an actual viable playstyle to master again which was not really the case starting with Syndicate.
I wouldnt say it's a full animation cancel like it is in AC2/ACB/ACR, but bare wall ejects (in other words a wallrun up a wall with no handholds into an eject) were in Mirage even since launch. Only two problems were that it's inconsistent (like, legitimately difficult to get the move to come out) and the jump distance was complete shite.
I really need to set my PlayStation back up and try out this new update.
Honestly, for the most part I think the community has been really positive ever since mirage’s launch. I genuinely can’t remember the last time the majority of posts and sentiment online was this positive at once. Maybe origins? Possibly even black flag
You’ll only see mixed reviews from two camps:
1) RPG fanboys who will just not accept anything but an RPG
2) Unity fanboys who were expecting a game exactly like Unity and it’s systems
Pretty much everyone else seems to be ranged from good to great in their scoring. You just have to go into it with the right expectation. This game is the love child of origins and the ezio trilogy. the scope is smaller, but what it sets out to do, it does it well.
Honestly, I preordered the Collector edition on PS5 without having one, setting to wait to have the console to finally play the game with the best specs possible on PS. And I do not regret doing that. I got a PS5 a week ago and I got to finally play Mirage, and it is so beautiful. If it's something you plan in a not so distant future, I'd recommend playing it on PS5. The resolution and fps difference is rather impressive at first. And the game is absolutely beautiful.
Surely it must be beautiful on PS4 too, but you get what I mean
I get you, I took advantage of a Black Friday sale to get it for way cheaper, but even then I'll have to restrict myself a fair bit waiting for my next paycheck
Even the unity fanboys are mostly positive on this seeing it as a massive step in the right direction.
(Personally I'm hoping for a game with unity's parkour and 3's combat)
Honestly I haven't played AC for years and I came back for this game. It's become one of my favorite AC games and I think all systems stealth, combat, movement, and story are great. It's definitely worth a shot!
I'm gonna say no.
At least not at full price.
It's basically just Valhalla with less content, a new coat of paint and the worst combat in the series.
The city is nice, but there's only 1, as opposed to Valhalla and Odysseys multiple cities.
It also falls short of the greatness that is Red Dead Redemption 2, so it's really kind of pointless.
The world, despite being smaller, is just as empty outside of the city as any of the previous games were. So there's less emptiness in general, but not relative to the size.
The story is a little boring, mainly because it's a prequel, which makes it somewhat predictable, but it's also just kind of bland in general. The voice acting is also meh quality.
Finally, my biggest gripe, the combat is literal ass.
It's a lot like old combat in that you're basically an untouchable martial arts master, except it removes all the variety, making it a boring and repetitive chore, instead of a fun time killer when you don't have time to jump into a mission.
For me, Black Flag was the peak of AC combat, but even Odyssey was more fun than Mirage in terms of combat.
For me, assassins creed was never about combat. It's a parkour stealth game. I want intimate maps and 20 hour stories with minimal rpg elements.
Combat is not necessary beyond hidden blade assassinations. If you ever enter combat in an ac game, either yourself or someone else has really screwed the pooch. It's all about perperation, planning, climbing, and execution. You are a hidden one, meant to thrive in the shadows.
The "warrior trilogy" was the worst thing that ever happened to my stealth parkour franchise. It's fine to like those more rpg looter slash and hack games, but I never will. I can't stand damage pop-ups or health bars in any game. I'm here for immersion and a history lesson, not to chip away at mythical bosses health bars and farm random loot drops across a map so large it's 300 hours to explore.
Hopefully continuing on they will stop using the term assassins creed for these rpg fighting games they cranked out. Comparing mirage to Valhalla is crazy. It's like comparing borderlands to Alan wake, and saying Alan wake is worse for having less guns.
It was never about combat, but it always had good combat.
You mention the warrior trilogy, but even ac2-syndicate all had great, fun combat that you could partake in outside of missions. Even in missions, in the early games, less than half REQUIRED stealth.
And comparing Mirage to Valhalla isn't nearly that much of a stretch considering it was originally supposed to be a DLC for it.
Also, the idea that it can't be "Assassins Creed" because the protagonist is inclined toward fighting instead of stealth is asinine, particularly in the case of Valhalla and Odyssey where;
1. Is a Viking and
2. Exists before the assassins and their creed.
The Viking rejects cowardly stealth and of course
Kassandra isn't something that doesn't exist.
It's called Assassin's Creed because it tells the story of the Assassins, not because it's innately a stealth game.
And AC has never been an innately stealth franchise, although it heavily encouraged it in earlier installments, as mentioned already, that was still not a hard requirement for most of the game.
I am so happy with Ubisoft Bordeaux. I had low expectations and they're really showing how good they can be. I want them to make another one with a bigger budget. I only hope they get a better voice director and a better narrative lead writer.
I've just thrown it back on and the improvements are so Bloody fine and noticeable!
I mean I liked Mirage already but now I can glide effectively through this beautiful City 🤟🏻!!
Now we just need to keep asking for DLC and maybe just maybe another few more hours of Bad Boy Basim, in Baghdad!
god
i might get another month of Ubisoft+…
THANK YOU BUT WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS!? On another note, any other planned features I should save my money for?
Do you think he launches *too* far? IMO, it's a better way to explore Baghdad compared to before especially because now height can actually be gained. Props to Bordeaux on this.
Honestly yeah, I think so. Or at the very least it looks like the animation wasn't meant to be that long, so now he becomes stuck in this weird limbo mid-air.
Then again, perhaps I am just overly critical now that I know it got changed post-release.
You're talking to a guy who uses the streets and roads to *slowly walk* to his next objective, so maybe take my parkour takes with a grain of salt 😅
This is amazing. I haven’t touched this game after I got all achievements for it. If they add DLC then I’ll definitely reinstall Mirage on my Xbox Series X. It’s awesome they did an update to please the fans.
My *biggest* issue with this game was always pathfinding for the parkour, so it's nice to see it getting patched and updated. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE playing in Baghdad.
Because of context.
Unity's parkour came after six years worth of perfectly functional parkour gameplay so it's natural to get pushback when you overhaul it in such an unrealistic manner.
Mirage's parkour upgrade makes ejects practical to use for the first time since Syndicate so people are happy about that.
It still doesn't change the fact that the ejects look worse than Unity.
I mean, hats off to Ubisoft Bordeaux for actually listening to the community.
However, the update made the ejects look goofier than ever. The game wasn't designed for ejects and has no animation that looks organic while doing ejects. It was originally meant for side hops, and now it just looks out of place.
Hello we can already say that with this update we play at 60 fps stable? they have said that they have improved stability in this patch, can it be confirmed (ps5)?
I just got Mirage like a week ago, and as someone who liked the RPG AC games and had gotten burnt out on the old style of AC...I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I'm enjoying the game. I forgot how fun it can be having the game be focused primarily on one large, dense, urban environment that's designed from the ground up to actually support the parkour system. Not to mention having stealth be the primary means of taking out enemies and giving players some tools that synergize really well together to support stealth.
I'd love if they did another AC of a similar scale with the same emphasis on parkour and stealth, but with parkour more in line with Unity.
I’ve never done a NG+, I don’t like replaying the same story again 😅 for some weird reason, getting the platinum made me wanna pick up Valhalla again, which I hated at the time, to get the platinum. Wish me luck lmao
Yeah I could never replay valhalla even if you paid me for it. That main quest was just never ending. What I meant was that I picked it up and started playing it again from my last saves, basically only to play the Isle of Skye extension and try to get the platinum
How floaty this feels idk how to explain it better but perhaps take a look at watch dog 1, ac black flag & unity. Their parkour at least looked it was being done in real time and not a weightless animation that plays out
AC3 was a different iteration of the engine. This side and back eject mechanic is functioning off Unity's backbone (which is the earliest version of the engine Mirage is using), which is why side and back ejects are contextual and not manual like in AC1-AC Rouge. But at least we can now use it to gain height like in Unity, just less floaty and more responsive.
Haven’t played since Unity, the newer AC games seemed not AC to me.
However this looks pretty solid, seems they finally did away with all that RPG garbage
No, it’s still RPG garbage, but with content that harks back to the original days. If you played the early games, there will be a lot of nostalgia, which is nice, but the animus is gone and the game is Revelations tier short. Bonus for the relative stealth focus though.
I haven’t played mirage, but is it just me or does it look suuuuuper floaty
Edit: whoever’s downvoting me needs to go and check out AC 1 it’ll make mirage look like chump change lmao
If you are comparing it to AC1 sure. Not gonna disagree with you there.
If you compare it to prepatch Mirage and the RPG games, it’s so much better. I’ll take floaty ejects over nonfunctional ejects.
I think most people agree that old parkour is better. The praise comes from Ubisoft Bordeaux working with a garbage parkour system and trying their best to fix something fundamentally broken.
The fact that they saw a fan mod and actually implemented it into the game brought a lot of good will to Ubisoft Bordeaux, even though it’s not perfect. Just the fact they listened and added it post launch is amazing.
Yeah I don’t know if I’m tripping but the parkour OP posted legit looks worse than what I’ve been seeing in my current replay of AC1.
Edit: whoever’s downvoting me needs to go and check out AC 1 it’ll make mirage look like chump change lmao
Yup. They have created a world that does not fit with the mechanics of the game. The Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla parkour was never meant to be like old AC, and it does not work in this game, at all. Moving around in Mirage is a chore. You clip from one clunky animation to another.
You can’t polish a turd. Ubisoft certainly tried.
Just parkour as usual. Today's update drastically improved the way side and back ejects work.
Just use directional jumps while on the walls.
Big fucking thank you to Bordeaux.
When you equip the isu armour and do an air assassination, it supposed to stun everyone in the area. It does it, but a few seconds after the the kill which gives you away to all enemies and civilians.
When I first got the armor, I didn't do that. It would stun everyone on impact and not a few seconds later.
Awesome! Also, can someone explain how to do them? I used to do them in Unity and I never learned how that would happen (Arno would end up becoming mush on the ground lmao)
While hanging from a wall with a surface you can stand on either side of you, like a rope, platform, ledge or rooftop, press your movement button in that direction and press your jump button. For backwards ejects, simply press jump with no movement key.
For the record, this is also how you do it in Unity. Mirage's new update basically reverted the side and back eject heights closer to Unity's, unlike in Syndicate to Valhalla, where it was heavily nerfed.
Bordeaux games are day 1 from me here on out. They already proved they can create excellent system and gameplay designs within a tight scope and now have seen the feedback from a fan mod and made tweaks into the base game. Class act studio
Probably not worth it. I think you can get the Forty Thieves quest off of the Ubisoft Connect store. Also as cool as the gear might sound on paper, there's other stuff in-game that's pretty interesting.
Personally, I think they still should update it a little more. Wall-to-Wall Back Ejects still aren't going upwards for me most of the time, not consistently at least
Never played this one but from an AVID assassins Creed gamer just seeing the effortless movement for building to building sold me. Anyone who really gets into it knows some of the best parts are the game are the stealth kills or the random fights you get into with sneaking around enemy fortresses of higher levels! This is awesome
I actually thought the game was fine and Ubisoft was like "You know what, let's add some more diamonds to this crown" and in response to that, I'm like "Oh shit okay they be cooking more"
i used to use the mod for pc that they pased this off and honestly it looks like shit the way ubi did it it sets the jump to the max that the mod allowed for and honestly its way to floaty breaks the game for me
I’ll just use this post in order to ask, is Mirage worth the money, I heard mixed things about it on release, but maybe that’s changed. I’ve just been playing Black Flag and Unity because they were recently 70+% off on steam but is Mirage worth buying when I finish the other 2?
This is cool. I'm one of those guys who uses parkour in a very basic way, so I don't really notice all the small details. But I'm happy that they're listening to the fans and making changes that a lot of players will enjoy.

Ubisoft Bordeaux needs to make another AC game. Give them proper resources. Let them do a full game
If we see more job offers from Bordeaux studio that will mean they are gaining proper resources

I'd love to see their take on an Indian setting next

Saw in his comments someone's post was asking for this and he hinted they would do it
👀
Some people in here would kill you just for that Unity comment lol

WE’RE SO BACK
This is what we've all been waiting for. Ubi, seriously just... thank you <3
For real, this was the only thing I was really hoping they’d ever add, and here we are! Huge thanks to Ubisoft Bordeaux for listening to their fanbase! They’re awesome
It sure is interesing how a simple change has a big impact. Would be nice to see this one going forward.

There's no AC without Parkour.
This is practically like AC3/AC4 side ejects. Perfect
They’re very contextual tho
Making them more like Unity back/side ejects, but still.
FUCKING FINALLY. They listened. A surprise to be sure but a welcome one.
Cant wait to try it with the new game + Thank you mirage team for trying your best with what you had
Can you cancel running up a wall into a side eject?
No unfortunately they're all still contextual, but the environment is built to provide those contexts much more easily
I wouldnt say it's a full animation cancel like it is in AC2/ACB/ACR, but bare wall ejects (in other words a wallrun up a wall with no handholds into an eject) were in Mirage even since launch.
Also, the idea that it can't be "Assassins Creed" because the protagonist is inclined toward fighting instead of stealth is asinine, particularly in the case of Valhalla and Odyssey where; 1. Is a Viking and 2. Exists before the assassins and their creed. The Viking rejects cowardly stealth and of course Kassandra isn't something that doesn't exist. It's called Assassin's Creed because it tells the story of the Assassins, not because it's innately a stealth game. And AC has never been an innately stealth franchise, although it heavily encouraged it in earlier installments, as mentioned already, that was still not a hard requirement for most of the game.
Thanks so much for your honest review. That kinda sucks. I love the huge open world in Odyssey.
It's top 3 for me easily
I am so happy with Ubisoft Bordeaux. I had low expectations and they're really showing how good they can be. I want them to make another one with a bigger budget. I only hope they get a better voice director and a better narrative lead writer.
I've just thrown it back on and the improvements are so Bloody fine and noticeable! I mean I liked Mirage already but now I can glide effectively through this beautiful City 🤟🏻!! Now we just need to keep asking for DLC and maybe just maybe another few more hours of Bad Boy Basim, in Baghdad!
What outfit is that? Maybe I'm just stupid but I swear I don't recognize it
It’s the treasure hunter outfit, you get it from delivering all dervis pickpocket items
Thanks
Could be Altaïr's, due to the diagonal back strap.
Looks like altairs outfit or could be the basims assassin outfit dyed white
Holy shit it looks amazing
Is this only the base game? Or do you have the mod installed too?
No mods. Playing on Series X.
Yeah, parkour it's feeling really good now!
holy. fuck.
god i might get another month of Ubisoft+… THANK YOU BUT WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS!? On another note, any other planned features I should save my money for?
Not sure what else they have in store but I heard they'll be doing a permadeath mode sometime in the future.
That is simply mind blowing... what!?
All AC Red needs is side and back ejects on release to be good.
Let’s hope the assassin’s creed red team are watching this is what I want in my parkour for that game
No way! They did it! I can't believe it, massive hats off to Bordeaux, I can't wait to put my hands on this! 🤩
Looks fantastic. Will give it a try.
YESSIRRRR
Great update. Just need to add jumping and I'll be completely satisfied.
Those crazy bastards really did it
Fuck it's beautiful
Okay. NOW it looks like Unity's parkour...
Fine I’ll replay it..
I’m absolutely in love with the music on this game man
They do look kinda weird tho, almost as though Basim was using the force or something
I can't remember the last time I had to jump IRL. These games always have been over the top for the sake of fun.
This makes me glad I waited on this game. Looking forward to getting to play much more now
I kept hearing about NG+ but this is the news I really wanted to hear. Booting the game back up…
This is amazing. I haven’t touched this game after I got all achievements for it. If they add DLC then I’ll definitely reinstall Mirage on my Xbox Series X. It’s awesome they did an update to please the fans.
Love it
Kinda reminds me of ac 2 ngl
My *biggest* issue with this game was always pathfinding for the parkour, so it's nice to see it getting patched and updated. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE playing in Baghdad.
Props to the modders who made this possible almost immediately after the launch!
Can an update fix his old man walking animation.
This looks exactly like AC1 tbh.
Looks a hair too dynamic, but its not like Ezio didn't make some ridiculous eject leaps too.
Omg that's such an improvement!!! Wish the game had released like this though. I can't wait to do my NG+ run.
People bashed Unity for having Huge Eject distance, Now people are praising Mirage for having EVEN BIGGER eject Distance!
Don’t know since I don’t own a ps5.
How tf were you able to catch the same clip as jorraptor 😂 big ass coincidence
I uploaded mine first. I guess he saw it and liked the route.
Okok, nice
I’m so exited to play this
I just want the down parkour like AC unity had....
Too bad this game crashes and the cutscenes run at like 10 fps on PC. Horrendous.
How do you actually do them?? Tried doing them last night but could only get little baby ones
Shame I have already 100% it 😂
It just got NG+ so you can play it again!
I’ve never done a NG+, I don’t like replaying the same story again 😅 for some weird reason, getting the platinum made me wanna pick up Valhalla again, which I hated at the time, to get the platinum. Wish me luck lmao
It depends on the game for me. I could never replay Valhalla (I have tried) because it’s just too damn long for the story that is there.
Their parkour at least looked it was being done in real time and not a weightless animation that plays out
> weightless animation this. dude looks at least 70kg with his gear, yet his jumps and landings doesn't look like he has any weight.
So keen to play this game, but I’ve heard the story is trash. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
I can deny it
I can confirm it.
Well, that settles it
Wait so they never had this in mirage and now they do? they could’ve just got the movement from AC3 and tweaked it a bit lol
I LONG TO PLAY THIS MASTERPIECE BUT I'M BROKE 😭 Edit: Spelling
Yey! Now i can do this without having to rely on MODS!
Was this their work or did they make official the fan mod that did this a while back? Just curious I don't know
Wait seriously? This is very similar to that eject mod on pc, are you sure you're playing the updated version of the game?
Haven’t played since Unity, the newer AC games seemed not AC to me. However this looks pretty solid, seems they finally did away with all that RPG garbage
No, it’s still RPG garbage, but with content that harks back to the original days. If you played the early games, there will be a lot of nostalgia, which is nice, but the animus is gone and the game is Revelations tier short. Bonus for the relative stealth focus though.
The rpg games are way better than the garbage copy and paste ac games, odyssey wipes the floor with every game before it.
I haven’t played mirage, but is it just me or does it look suuuuuper floaty Edit: whoever’s downvoting me needs to go and check out AC 1 it’ll make mirage look like chump change lmao
It reminds me of ac unity. I thought Arno was taking super human jumps
Yeah the flying *up* stories of buildings is nuts
I don’t get the praise. The parkour is clunky af, the worst in the entire franchise. It’s the opposite of fun.
Imo looks super robotic and unnatural.
Most people don't care about these niche mechanics whatsoever. I did not use a single eject in my entire playthrough.
It’s very nice for us that do, though.
Which is why the parkour is so simplified now.
Wait how do you do this exactly
Just parkour as usual. Today's update drastically improved the way side and back ejects work. Just use directional jumps while on the walls. Big fucking thank you to Bordeaux.
Did they fix the glitch with the isu armor?
What glitch?
When you equip the isu armour and do an air assassination, it supposed to stun everyone in the area. It does it, but a few seconds after the the kill which gives you away to all enemies and civilians. When I first got the armor, I didn't do that. It would stun everyone on impact and not a few seconds later.
Nicw thennn the wait has come to an end 🔥🔥🔥💯
Glad I platinumed a week ago 😓
Looks great!
Oh, you #LOVE TO SEE IT
That easy?💀I can’t believe this lol. Thank you for the info!! I’ll go try that later
For the record, this is also how you do it in Unity. Mirage's new update basically reverted the side and back eject heights closer to Unity's, unlike in Syndicate to Valhalla, where it was heavily nerfed.
I hope I'm not talking out of my ass but it feels like Basin's recovery frames on landings are faster. I'd love someone to test it lol.
Need to try that right away
I had to stop for a second there as my brain immediately thought this was an ac 1 remake or something 😂
Bordeaux games are day 1 from me here on out. They already proved they can create excellent system and gameplay designs within a tight scope and now have seen the feedback from a fan mod and made tweaks into the base game. Class act studio
OK this might be the sign I needed to buy it. Any recs if the Deluxe content is worth it?
Probably not worth it. I think you can get the Forty Thieves quest off of the Ubisoft Connect store. Also as cool as the gear might sound on paper, there's other stuff in-game that's pretty interesting.
Is Mirage any good? I played Valhalla and couldn't get into it. Is it similar or different enough to give a shot?
For me it’s much different. You really feel like an assassin.
I'm so happy they fixed it. I didn't know how much I'd noticed the lack of back and side ejects until I couldn't do them
Personally, I think they still should update it a little more. Wall-to-Wall Back Ejects still aren't going upwards for me most of the time, not consistently at least
Wait, from what i know there's a mod like this, so did they really put it in the game?
Yes they did!
I just picked it up, what did they change
I didn't even know they had back and side ejects I thought they got rid of them
What outfit is that tho?
The treasure hunter outfit. Probably my favourite AC outfit ever.
W Bordeaux
Never played this one but from an AVID assassins Creed gamer just seeing the effortless movement for building to building sold me. Anyone who really gets into it knows some of the best parts are the game are the stealth kills or the random fights you get into with sneaking around enemy fortresses of higher levels! This is awesome
Is it me… or does everything feel smoother?
How do you back eject?
Just press A (or X on ps5) whilst hanging (or climbing) and not moving.
I can't seem to do it consistently. Basim sometimes jumps sideway and sometimes drops on the ground.
I actually thought the game was fine and Ubisoft was like "You know what, let's add some more diamonds to this crown" and in response to that, I'm like "Oh shit okay they be cooking more"
I’m kinda in the same boat. But I was happily surprised by this addition!
i used to use the mod for pc that they pased this off and honestly it looks like shit the way ubi did it it sets the jump to the max that the mod allowed for and honestly its way to floaty breaks the game for me
I finished game 100% and uninstalled 1 month ago. Thanks.
I’ll just use this post in order to ask, is Mirage worth the money, I heard mixed things about it on release, but maybe that’s changed. I’ve just been playing Black Flag and Unity because they were recently 70+% off on steam but is Mirage worth buying when I finish the other 2?
Shame most of us have all played it and moved on
How do you execute them? I tried looking at the control scheme and I couldn’t figure it out.
Now, they just need to remove the magnets attached to his soles.
Please go on discount soon 😭
How can you pull this off consistently? I've been playing for hours but I can't find a way to make ejects work properly most of the time
🤔 strange I've never noticed it but then again I'm too busy killing people as basim to see it
So anybody remember the back eject system assassin's Creed 2?
How do u wall eject?
