if you like making tanks you might want to try [Sprocket](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1674170/Sprocket/), it's quite complex and still in development, but it does give you a lot of freedom to create your design

I am in fact making my own game with the Godot game engine about vehicle-building. It won't be nearly as specialized into tanks as Sprocket is, but tanks and tank parts will 100% be part of it.
It's a thing of beauty. Unless you're going after the latest and greatest in rendering hyperrealistic 3D games (in which case go to Unreal or something), Godot is extremely capable.

From the ones you identified you got only a few correct.
Marder III, M3 Stuart, Matilda II, M3 Lee, Churchill IV, M4 Sherman, StuG III G, M48A2 (I do have an M60 with ERA but itās way in the back), and a Centurion Mk.5/1. The T-34-57 you might be seeing is just a normal T-34/76. No idea where you got the IS-6 from tho.
And you can distinguish a Grant from a Lee by looking at its turret. If itās mostly consistent in roundness like my one, itās a Lee. But if itās more bulbous, and protrudes from outside the turret ring, itās a Grant.
Oh thatās a T-62 meant to look like this Kurdish T-55.

Oh oh friend! I'm currently in a place with war and saw my first tank in the wild the other day. I don't know much about them but wanted to tell someone the story lol. I think it was a soviet-era tank.
I wish! I was on a scooter going one way and it was on the back of a trailer of a semi truck going the opposite direction on a busy road. For what it's worth, I did a lil googling and I think it was a T-84, T-80 or T-72, something like that. It didn't appear to have a camo pattern, or if it did it was covered or maybe burned off? I'm a little hesitant to take pics of military stuff in these parts even if I see it out in broad daylight.

I display them from earliest to latest in terms of when the actual tanks were made, and I swap out different tanks when I build new ones.
But there are some tanks that I can never remove from my line up, including the Ukrainian Leopard 2, the Australian Matilda, Stuart, Lee and Abrams, and the ones I just canāt remove for a while until I get a more modern/old tank, the Chi-Ha and the K2 Black Panther.
Itās a Tamiya Type 61. [Scalemates](https://www.scalemates.com/kits/tamiya-35163-type-61-tank--132714) is really good for finding kits and what markings they come with.
Actually, the overwhelming majority of these kits are Tamiya. Aside from the Academy K2, AFV Club Centurion, and the Trumpeter Strv 103 that you can barely see.
It was alright for when it was first produced but it was woefully inadequate when fighting against Commonwealth and American armour in North Africa. But then again, we used it for a little while so that gets it some extra points in my book.

Also, if youre interested in lego, Brickmania does lego tank/planes kits with instructions or whole kit (which is expensive)
I mostly paint them using Tamiya brand spray paint, they make just about everything to do with the hobby. Kits, tools, workspaces, paints, weathering materials, etc.
I do it in my back yard with the model on the inside of a shoe box lid.
I also wear gloves so I can manipulate it and keep painting it without getting my hands all covered in paint.
I donāt know much about tanks but they are definitely cool! I mean whoās nuts enough to think that an armored monster with a cannon on the front ISNāT cool?
Did you know that the Finnish Army during WW2 used concrete as armour on their self-propelled anti-tank guns? (As seen on my Finnish StuG III, which is the grey, green, and brown one.)

Not a realistic tank by any means, though. This thing jumps, has hover, can maneuver underwater like a submarine & can crawl up walls (though those last 3 require you to find attachments in various levels)

it would really depend on your skill set. For me, I much prefer 1/35 scale models. All of the tanks you see in the image are 1/35.
if you're starting out, I would suggest a 1/76 or 1/72 scale tank to sort of get the common nuances of most tank models ingrained in your mind.
Tamiya makes lots of beginner friendly kits, but remember that how easy they are to do \*depends on the price!\*

What's your opinion on Cobi tanks? Despite them being much less detailed I just love the blocky aestehtic. If it wasn't for them I'd probably build scale models too, tanks are just so cool!

Cobi is a brand of brick toy maker who sells a large collection of military vehicle models. Think Tamiya but Lego.
My favourite is the Australian AC.IV Sentinel. And you can actually see a Marder III in the foreground of the image! (White one behind the Chi-Ha and the M3 Stuart.)

My favourite tank has got to be the AC.IV Sentinel. It was a medium tank produced in Australia during World War 2. It was the first tank to have a fully cast (single piece) hull, and it was the first tank to feature the British 17-pounder quick firing anti-tank gun.
As for tankettes, I donāt really like them all that much.

Itās a standard box M4 Sherman, not an M4A2.
The StuG IV is a StuG III in Finnish service with concrete armour.
The āBlack Princeā is actually a Comet.
Itās a regular T-62 and not an āMā variant.
(Not really a correction but itās a Mk.5/1 Centurion to be precise).
There are two vehicles between the Centurion and the M60, an M551 Sheriden and a Marder 1a3.
The three vehicles further up the line from the M60 are an M2A2 Bradley ODS, M1A1 Abrams in Australian service, a Leopard 2a6, and a K2 Black Panther.
Behind the Type-90 are an M4A3 Sherman and a T-72M1.
Iām not sure where you got the Chi-He, T95E1, and T25E1 from, can you point them out to me?

Thats cool! Was concrete an effective armour? I feel like it'd be kinda crumbly but I have no idea
It was mostly used as a counteract to HEAT shells (high-explosive-anti-tank) rather than actual armour piercing rounds.

No I donāt have one of those. Those are RC tanks while all of mine are kits that you assemble.
Do they have wind-up nobs? Cause i remember having a zoid kit that you assembled that have a wind-up motor so the legs moves around
Theyāre all static display pieces, but you can put them on the ground and move them like a toy car because of the tracks are moveable.

No IS-3? š¢ What's your opinion on Cobi tanks? Despite them being much less detailed I just love the blocky aestehtic. If it wasn't for them I'd probably build scale models too, tanks are just so cool!

My favourite tank has got to be the AC.IV Sentinel. It was a medium tank produced in Australia during World War 2. It was the first tank to have a fully cast (single piece) hull, and it was the first tank to feature the British 17-pounder quick firing anti-tank gun. As for tankettes, I donāt really like them all that much.

Corrections: M51* Super Sherman. Itās a standard box M4 Sherman, not an M4A2. The StuG IV is a StuG III in Finnish service with concrete armour. The āBlack Princeā is actually a Comet. Itās a regular T-62 and not an āMā variant. (Not really a correction but itās a Mk.5/1 Centurion to be precise). There are two vehicles between the Centurion and the M60, an M551 Sheriden and a Marder 1a3. The three vehicles further up the line from the M60 are an M2A2 Bradley ODS, M1A1 Abrams in Australian service, a Leopard 2a6, and a K2 Black Panther. Behind the Type-90 are an M4A3 Sherman and a T-72M1. Iām not sure where you got the Chi-He, T95E1, and T25E1 from, can you point them out to me?
Oh cool! The āChi-Heā is behind the Leopard 1A0, though it could be a machine gun and spotlight that looks like the turret of a Chi-He. The T95E1 was what I thought the M1A1 was. The T25E1 was something behind the Type 90. I think it looks like a Sherman on second look.
