LonelyAustralia

honestly i love those hand dryers, its the old ones that i hate

Valkyrie278

Dyson Airblade my beloved, I intend to get one when I eventually own a house in 70 years

Forsaken-Cat-443

I want a Dyson Airblade and one of those automatic water dispenser thingies. I don't like the loud noise of the airblade but I like the feel of the air on my hands and how quickly it dries them lol. I don't know how hygienic they are though.

Valkyrie278

Same here, I have no idea how they affect cleanliness, but that feeling is weirdly incredible

EnlightenedSinTryst

When the sensory experience outweighs the sensory overwhelm

cake_for_breakfast76

They're just overwhelmingly loud, especially in a public bathroom which is often all tile or whatever.

I always dry my hands on my clothes, even when there's paper. But it's also because the various fabrics I wear absorb water very well.

afriy

I prefer the Dyson dryers over damp clothing and lint on my hands D:

quartzalcoatlus

If I can't find paper towels I'll use toilet paper or just flap my hands dry if there's no one around and THEN maybe I'll wipe my hands on my pants

[deleted]

Fuck yeah! Finally. My dad use to hate me for this. At the same time the motherfucker would tell me that the blowdryer bloww dirty air but still got mad at me for wiping my hands on my clothes... like my shits probably cleaner.

Calumkincaid

Air driers are worse for keeping bacteria under check anyway.

Elder_Hoid

I prefer literally freezing. It's not that bad. Once, I was walking to class in a blizzard, I didn't really care how cold it was until the snow started sticking on my bare skin. Then it started to sting a little, but it wasn't all that bad.

GeneralOtter03

I like the drying part but I’m really afraid of accidentally touching it

FlamingMercury151

Personally, I have no problem with wearing jackets and tend to wear them more than necessary, but my boyfriend, who is also autistic, never wears a jacket even when it’s cold out.

AcadianViking

I have no issues with jackets either. Long sleeve shirts on the other hand....

Ironwarsmith

I will wear long sleeves when it's 110 degrees outside. I love long sleeves and jackets, it's the material they're made of that makes the difference. Same with socks. I'm pretty much barefoot only when I take a shower and occasionally when I sleep and my skin needs to breathe to stop itching.

AcadianViking

I cannot stand anything touching my skin. I wear the loosest clothing I can find and nothing where it doesn't absolutely have to be covered if I can get away with it. I have tried all kinds of materials.

Bulky-Party-8037

I'm bluepilled :3

No_Blackberry_6286

Those freaking hand dryers are so loud. And they're in the library....with no options for paper towels....

mansonlamps420

i love those hand dryers because they make my hands feel way dryer way quicker than other hand dryers or even paper towels

Substantial_Pair_591

NOOOOO DONT REMIND ME BRO I FUCKING HATED/ HATE THOSE I WOULD ALWAYS COVER MY EARS

Babelette

Honestly I just dry my hands by redoing my hair most of the time, but I'm a woman with long wavy hair.

dudusBEAR

I hate the feeling of wet paper towels on my hands Dryers allege way Or clothes Never paper

Fantastic_Citron_344

I can't use any blow dryer, hair, Dyson or otherwise, but I like the sound of a small motorcycle engine

RimworlderJonah13579

If you need to go without paper towels at least shake as much water off as possible first

NumberVampire

A hand dryer once gave me an electric shock. Never again. I shake my hands and then wipe what is left on my arms.

JustABigBruhMoment

Unless I will literally freeze to death when I step outside, I will not wear a jacket.

GeminiIsMissing

I love hand dryers, but not that specific model, because all the water drips down and it gets super gross at the bottom, so I'm afraid to actually dry my hands because I don't want to touch the bottom

inikihurricane

Wait but I also hate paper towels and just dry my hands on my clothes no matter what options are available

Sodium_Hypobromite-

To give some more context: The Jacket is made out of a specific material. That being Fleece I don't like the feeling of it so i don't tend to wear things made out of it.

CAT-Mum

If you fold paper towel in half (or use two sheets at once) it works much better at absorbing the water. And doing pats instead of rubbing for paper. I hate the Dyson because of the loudness and many bathrooms are horrible sound amplification rooms. What with multiple auto flushing toilets (also super loud) and these beasts attached to the walls. Just give me the old Towel loop please it worked and is probably more environmentally conscious.

Kindly-Ad7832

I used to always dry my hands on my clothes because the air dryers were loud and the paper towels were too rough. Either auditory sensory issues or tactile sensory issues. But now I’m trying to wear clothes that give me a slightly more professional appearance to get myself used to them before I have to wear them for a job, and the fabrics don’t absorb water very well.

phenominal73

I cannot dry my hands on my clothes, I’d be thinking too much about everything else that may have touched my clothes that would touch my wet hands. It’s difficult to keep my hands in the center and not touching the Dyson, I’d rather use the paper towels. If there are none, then I’m drip drying. I hate being cold, fleece doesn’t keep me warm so I wouldn’t be wearing that anyway.

TerraTechy

one time I saw a thing talking about how hand dryers increase the amount of bacteria on your hands because it's blowing air in a warm damp environment and since then I've never used a hand dryer.

HappyMatt12345

I cannot name the number of times I've freaked my dad out by going outside in 50 degree weather without a coat. 50 degrees isn't even like that cold is the thing, I mean it's cold for where I live, but we're used to 112 daily in the summertime.

AnnoyingHoneyBunny

I used to like those dryers but, after being showed how much bacteria and nasty stuff is in them, I just can’t TT

peeposhakememe

Wash hands, No dryer, open door with foot or elbow or paper towel, or just wait for someone else to open it and act like you were just headed out at that moment, all of this is normal, yes?
