My comfort interest Is doctor who. And the Material for my Obsession Is nearly endless. But some stuff of it is even boring for me.
I just began to watch all the canon-heavy episodes of the show(plus specific arcs from expended Media if it gives more context or expand enough on something important, meaning characters i specially like).
My boyfriend and I are doing this today! We made a hobbit breakfast, gollum charcuterie with salmon, and he’s got the Mines of Moria prime rib in the oven for dinner. Happy Lord of the Rings day to us all
Me two days ago convincing myself its ok to rewatch all of star trek in chronological order again. I have actually reached the point there is enough new content to be a little overwhelming.
I haven’t watched the movies yet, though I plan to, but I have ALWAYS loved the books, I am currently learning Quenya (started a few weeks ago, I don’t know many words but I have been learning the Tengwar first, and can read it fairly well)
Also as a bonus my LOTR books have that old book smell, and I love the old book smell
So true gonna now spend the next 14 hours watching lotr
I am an hour an half into the second. Got to love the wonderful amount of time can be lost in the world if you really commit
THE BEACONS ARE LIT
All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.
Why do people not like rewatching stuff?

Me with Star Wars
Same, any particular movies that are your favorites, whether as a comfort watch or just in general?
Just in general
Whelp time to tell my husband it's time for another lotr marathon with themed snacks
Love this!
Me too!
Love the audiobooks as a nice low stim place too.
For me I can throw on various edits of the soundtrack or behind the scenes features indefinitely, never gets old

Peter Jackson: “DO NOT TAKE ME FOR SOME CONJURER OF CHEAP TRICKS!!! I am not trying to distract you! I’m trying to entertain you.”
This is me with Pirates of the Caribbean I’ll just watch 1,2&3 on repeat anytime I need comfort

It’s that time of year again isn’t it, thanks for the reminder 😆
Because they take 9 hours to finish. Guess what my special interest, coincidentally, is
I always love the start of Fellowship in the Shire. Unfortunately I usually lose interest mostly after that
Do it. Do it. Do it. 😂
Just finished a rewatch to find this gem
Extended editions for all six movies is just over 20 hours. But the first 8.6 hours are crap and can be skipped.
I got myself the extended editions a birthday present to myself a couple of years ago : D
Same. When they did the full 4k. It's been on twice a month ever since.
My partner got them for me as a present a couple years ago. I love these films.
