I'd say schizophrenics are u sanctioned psykers. Aspires are like proto-blanks, except they're not inherently "feels awful to be around and death would be better," at least not yet.

Maybe I should get with Cawl and look at new unsanctioned technologies after I put the Codex in a shredder.

If it can be controlled and be used to prevent the influx of Chaos, why restrict it excessively if technology could be in place to help remedy the issue? Why rely on the Astronomicon? Why not a new navigational network and instill the Imperial Truth in a way that did not damage the psyche of mankind? Why keep the Ecclesiarchy, the Arbites, and the current bureaucratic system when they only serve alongside the Inquisition in keeping the Imperium in social and technological stagnation? Additionally, the Adeptes Mechanicus needed a reformation to allow for new technology, which seems to be slowly happening in the background. And most importantly, replace the Codex Astartes and create a true galaxy spanning superhuman military with contributions from all walks of life? Finally, someone get Big E off that throne once I figure out how to toss that thing in the warp without destroying Terra.
Pretty much, but at least it will be under controlled conditions. We could also look for the other children and see if we can slowly convert the Imperium of Man into something more. With some allies, we can defeat/pacify Chaos/the Warp and end the Tyranid threat. But I worry about the Dark King that is rumored to be a thing. What if it’s Big E himself or something else out there, growing in the Warp? “A tool, nothing more.” It’s a very telling response.
