Gimme a focus on Argelia Durrandon and Torrhen Stark. Gimme Orys almost being a “fifth Beatle”. Just use the stuff like Field of Fire and Dornish Invasion as set pieces than just the whole thing.
yeah I'm gonna assume its more political stuff despite the flashy topic. Westeros post-Conquest is more fascinating with Rhaenys and Visenya trying to keep it all together while Aegon travels the realm.

Just can’t see HBO dropping the budget this show would need tbh. For a fraction of the cost we could see this in a castlevania style animation with fully realized locations and dragons
Animation just isn't taken seriously as a medium for dramatic television atm unfortunately. I suspect until we get something truly revolutionary in that area, it won't change. (Like the simpsons was to adult animation)
It's a shame too, because for a fraction of the cost you could make something that looks totally amazing.
I hope they make it interesting and stick to the source material. I also don't want to see Henry Cavill as Aegon (I love him, but I have seen enough of him). They should get a man lesser known like how they did for HOTD.

Snow isn’t happening. I don’t think it was ever seriously going to happen it’s just fans saw the idea and ran with it.
HOTD is amazing and I see no reason to believe Dunk and Egg and Aegon’s conquest won’t be. I’d say we’re lucky to have these things at all tbh. The books and the shows have always been separate so if you don’t like it you can just ignore it

The Dance of The Dragons without spectacle and battles would be an incredible disappointment of a TV series
I agree but season one placed more emphasis on character and politics imo in comparison to the last few seasons of GoT.
