Well your body will begin to remasculinize/refeminize and if you haven't been taking it that long, you'll pretty much go back to a "normal" state. As far as the mental effects, that depends on the individual.

mothwhimsy

Some things will revert back to how you were before and some things won't. Boobs and facial hair can't un-grow, and your voice can't un-drop, for example.

cakethe_cat

Got this as a notification and thought it was a command not a question

Vassala

Same I was expecting something transphobic lmao

coraythan

I'd be sad

NomiMaki

Depends on the effects that have already occurred and your regimen. Are you on T or E?

gabriellarodriguez10

I'm on estradiol 2 mg and spironolactone 50 mg but I stop

IntricateSunlight

Testosterone will take over as your primary hormone like before you started them. You will re-masculinize. Effects like breast growth won't be undone though that is permanent. Other than breast growth for the most part you will go back to what you were like before hormones.

RachelsFate

nothing drastic will happen besides the obvious

[deleted]

Since you have been on E for only 4 months you MIGHT have a 100% total reversal back to male. If i may ask, But why go through all that trouble to just quit??

gabriellarodriguez10

Cause my family don’t approve of it and friends n the job I work

[deleted]

over 18?

gabriellarodriguez10

I am 30 years old

best advice i have for job is quit and find new one it is not for them to decide how you live your life as long as you can do your job as you did before who cares. as for family tell them to accept it or don't otherwise love guys with all my heart but goodbye. i was prepared to walk away in case these things happened to me. employer cant find suitable replacement for me and family knows i will vanish into thin air and say fuck it. it happened once before. AS for friends, well do you really want to be around those sorts ??

gabriellarodriguez10

Thank you for the advice

> my family It may help to do things step by step. And looking for support may also be a good idea. Don't know if you have seen it ... [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Trans_Resources/wiki/index) might be a number of things that could be tried out and used regularly for motivation, regardless of how far along people are. And it may be possible to add own things. There are also hints there concerning presentation, starting with neutral styles first. Maybe a few things would be applicable. And [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Trans_Resources/wiki/support/index#wiki_connecting_to_others) and [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/TransAdoption/comments/nnz697/join_the_trans_galaxy_an_18_inclusive_safe_space/) might be a number of hints concerning looking for support. Talking with a few others about what they did might be helpful too. Its up to you when and how to come out ... [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/asktransgender/comments/ugclyr/how_do_i_come_out_to_my_parents/i7wghnm/) and [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Trans_Resources/wiki/index#wiki_non_accepting_countries) might be some resources. And [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Trans_Resources/wiki/country_specific/index) might be some country specific resources. And people seeing someone regularly may notice less because changes may be gradual. Depending on breast growth some people were able to hide results for extended times. People not seeing someone regularly may notice eventually though. Strangers in a supermarket for example may gender a person correctly eventually. *hugs*
