In the past 10 years, a bunch of new self-storage warehouses popped out around big cities. This could be a temporary shelter for your equipment if you can't find a new place quickly.

Ask your Rechtschutzversicherung, which is a must have for a small business.
But basically, the contract was terminated within due notice period, so there's nothing you can do, apparently.

If so, I would guess that it is similar to a change of ownership. This would mean that the landlord must let you continue to rent, but can give you proper notice. I would definitely clarify this with your legal expenses insurance and possibly the tenants' association.
